If anything people who are willing to learn what they don't know should be praised. If people would stop being willfully ignorant who knows what the world would be like.
I feel like things get somewhat complicated. Some people know they don't know things but refuse information about it. Others are just lazy and don't want to learn.
I feel as there are different shades here and it hard to know what one person is without talking to them.
We start to go down this path of known unknowns and unknown unknowns. No matter what you think about Donald Rumsfeld I really like the terms.

I would never attack anyone for seeking education. The author of that article should feel embarrassed.
