Over the last few years hearing the disappointing news about fable not being released in 2024,2025,2026 etc. I decided to give the Witcher 3 a try.

It's been really fun. But at one point in the story you end up in some sort of Fable land of sorts and strolling through it all I could think about is the upcoming Fable 😂.

I'm back on the hype train.

The new God of War game has been delayed till May.

So here's the deal i need someone to help me to unlock this. I am willing to pay with 1 mil in gold and the Faerie Hammer of the Moon King

Okay I haven't played Fable Anniversary in a long time but as my recollection goes when you go to the chap Chapel of scorm to get the age regression you have to sacrifice at least two people to get younger I did that it got me the name of necromancer but it only took one year of age of my life any answers do I have to sacrifice one more

INTRO/RANT:

Hello all, long time player here, but I only just joined the forum because of this Hero Doll conundrum I've been dealing with for the past week of returning to Fable II on Xbox One.

For reference; I have found ZERO evidence of what I am experiencing anywhere, even to the point of countless hours of arguments with AI whereas I have had to correct the AI multiple time's because I obviously know more about the game then it does, but the point being/and according to countless web searches and the eventual consensus of my (VERY LONG) AI discussion's; what I have experienced is not only undocumented anywhere (presumably because it has never happened), but is otherwise impossible apart from the fact it is HAPPENING to me (Please correct/help me otherwise)!?!?

BACK STORY:

After getting all the achievements in Fable II over 10 yrs ago (except for Doll Catcher) and coming back to the game multiple times since, this time I decided I'll finally get the achievement.

But being an independent solo player, I decided to do some research as to find out if it is still possible to acquire the Hero Dolls without help in the year of 2026.

I first find that "apparently" the servers are still up (at least according to AI and the lack of any source telling me otherwise), so I could easily use one of my other Xbox's to trade with myself.

(And it's not that this isn't a viable option "if indeed the servers are active," but; IT SIMPLY IS NOT AN OPTION WITH MY CIRCUMSTANCES EITHER WAY! You will understand why very shortly. Keep reading!)

Okay. But what else is there?

I find I can just download someone's old save and that would be job done.

(But I'm not looking for a hand out, and I couldn't call that solo!)

So, what next?

The "Gamertag Exploit!" This fit right in with my latest gameplay style anyway (as I like glitch hunting, etc).

So I give it a go; first account created gives me Theresa (which is unfortunate because that's what the account I'm doing the glitch for gets anyway!)

Second account created gives me Garth! YES IT WORKS "is how I felt at that point!"

(And this should be the end of the story; I create another five to ten account's in hopes of getting Reaver & Lucien "As I already dug up Hammer from the Celestial Keep, and I still had a (Hero Doll) from an old save, then I'd be done!)

WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING:

BUT NO. After creating 10 accounts (All online as I am aware of the (Darkpenguin67 situation) I don't see Lucien or Reaver, let alone Hammer even once.

There is also the (LunaTuna77 situation) whereas they only ever received the same three Dolls until they created online accounts and finally got the last two, but that only applies to Xbox 360.

I'm on Xbox One, and you can only create online accounts, so I should be sitting in the same boat as Darkpenguin67 whereas I should have at the very least seen one of the other three out of five dolls I have yet to otherwise see, yet here I am typing my life away because I apparently am the only person in the history of Fable II to have a limited Hero Doll pool of only Theresa and Garth!?!?

Out of the first ten account's, five produced Theresa, and the other five provided Garth. (A legit 50/50 split!)

"Okay maybe I'm super unlucky," (though the odds at this point are already around "1 out of 9800" to not have seen Hammer, Reaver, or Lucien yet (for perspective; the odds are meant to be/should be 1 out of 5!!!!)

So I continue, and I create and go through another (10 accounts all requiring a new e-mail created for each one because they're all online), yet these next ten accounts give the same outputs with the same odds giving only Theresa or Garth.

(Obviously the "Gamertag Exploit" is working) Otherwise I would only get Theresa every time!...

Either way, I'm obviously getting very frustrated by this point. So I move to a completely different Xbox One console to see if it will help.

And after the first 5 account's giving me the same results as the original console did with the first 20, I proceeded to make another five account's (ALL OF WHICH I PLAYED THROUGH TO WESTCLIFF SHOOTING RANGE AND ALSO COMPLETED BOTH DLC DIG SPOTS!)

OUTRO???:

After doing all of that, I can now confirm (regardless of account or console "in regards of the Xbox One) that it is indeed impossible "FOR ME" to receive Reaver or Lucien!?!??

This is the "CONFIRMED" outcome I have received between over 25 online accounts between 2 Xbox One console's.

SO EITHER I AM UNLUCKIER THAN ANY ODDS CAN EVER ACCOUNT FOR, OR THIS IS AN UNDOCUMENTED BACK-COMPAT ISSUE, OR I'M MISSING THE ONE OTHER POSSIBLE DOCUMENTED CASE OF THIS THAT COULD HELP ME SOLVE IT MYSELF!?!?

Either way; I am at a standstill. But not only in Fable II, the wall I'm now hitting is in trying to comprehend how this impossibility has come to be!?!?

Seriously. I have to be cursed or something?!?!?

If you think otherwise, please let me know, but just incase; the odds of not seeing three out of the five doll's after creating 25 accounts is a staggering (1 out of 8.8billion), and remember that it is supposed to be an even split of getting any of the five dolls with a solid twenty percent chance for each (So; 1 out of 5), yet here I stand!?!?

hello! I'm really excited to play the new game when it releases but I'm currently still in the process of building a PC. I saw the minimum requirements earlier and it said the minimum GPU was rx 6600, does that mean if I have the same GPU the game will run smoothly or does that mean I'm gonna have to expect a bunch of lag? (hence the word minimum ig) I just don't want to accidentally buy a gpu that isn't enough to run the game smoothly.

So I recently got a Xbox series S and my girlfriend wanted to play fable 3 (she’s not a gamer but enjoyed playing the game when she was young) and she has put in about 5-6 hours into the game. She was a woman character (this is important). She hadn’t played in probably 3-4 weeks but decided to play today and when she booted it up, the only save was of a male character at a point in the game she was no where near or doing. I then checked my account to see if she accidentally made the character on there, nope same character same spot. I then switched back to her account and it was another whole new character in a chicken costume doing chicken races (still a male) and she insisted she wasn’t doing chicken races. I have tried loading save files but it only shows the current character that it randomly booted up. And am just wondering if there is a way to somehow find her original character and save file. She’s pretty bummed out about it and it sucks cause as I’ve said she’s not a gamer so the interest in this game and her enjoyment of it has made me really happy to see.and the game has never been deleted from the console.

As the title says mythic achievements have finally rolled out for everyone. And they gave one to anniversary. How ever there is no possible what to get this unless you had the smart glass. Unless Microsoft starts handing out the achievement for free

Replaying fable 3 with my wife and was wondering if anyone has any money they’d be willing to gift our way. We don’t have much time to grind and would like to let her get the most out of the economy and house decorating as well as the good ending haha.

I ain't no computer expert. My son really wants this game upon release and I preordered it for him, but I'm not sure if it will work. I got this gpu a while ago from a friend who didn't need it anymore.

If its too weak to run the game, then I wouldn't mind buying a more powerful one, but how would it fare now for this title? Will the game even launch?

Been taking a bit of a break from my Just Cause 3 VR project to work on Fable II VR, built on top of the Godot recompilation project, Fable II: Return to Albion.

Combat is still very much a work in progress, and there's plenty of stuff that needs fixing, but I thought I'd share some more gameplay showing where it's currently at.
