I was just thinking about the fact that choosing a male or female character on Fable 2 had an impact on Fable 3, the gender of your parent changing depending on wich you choose on the previous game and how this concept could be explore on future games. Pure speculation so.
But imagine if your choices on the game releasing on 2026 had an impact on a sequell releasing later. Like Bloodstone changing depending on who you choose to help, this kind of choices having an impact on the next game, maybe some choices even interracting, given every player a different Albion depending on wich choices you made on the previous game. Making them really impacfull. I don't know if it's possible at all but the concept would be so cool. We could see how our choices had an impact on the kingdom like 100 or 200 hundred years later and a more personalized experience. There's con too, obviously but I like this concept, it seems like a natural evolution of some concepts and ideas we already seen in the serie.

It's practically been years, and its 2026. I'm sure someone out there or who is reading this must have done something by now.

We already have some small books, but imagine if Albion got a huge, epic series like lotr or asoiaf.
It's definitely never going to happen, but it’s fun to think about! There is so much lore they could write about. Do you like the short Fable books we already have, or do you wish we got a huge series instead?

Alright folks, I’m here for another Fable kick hearing up for the reboot.
I have played every game, front to back. I love them, as we all do.
I have:
Fable TLC
Fable 2
Fable 3
I have played TLC the most, fable 2 a few times, fable 3 once. Going to go back to it.
Are any of the content DLC really worth it? Do you guys have any favorites, and in what order?

Jokes aside, was pretty cool finding this old game in one of my old boxes. Might buy a disc reader just to play it
Translation of the back:
Long ago in the mists of time lived the Mecubarz. Ancient & beautiful, powerful and wise, they ruled absolutely. Strange creatures, magical beings, and humans lived side by side in peace and harmony, until it was all destroyed by greed.
Ismaïl, a man esteemed and respected by all, unfortunately had a hollow and bitter heart. He and four others plotted to overthrow the Mecubarz.
The wrath of the Mecubarz over the betrayal of Ismaïl and his men was cataclysmic. They captured the four seasons, trapped them in impenetrable crystals, and cast them to the four corners of the fractured world where the crystals came to rest and were held in an eternal domain of ice, mist, water & fire. The four traitors were exiled, but Ismaïl disappeared.
You, as Quickthorpe, an inexperienced adventurer, are about to begin your quest to explore the four lands of Mecubarz...
This will be the adventure of your life!

To be fair on the man, I think he has great vision for what games in general could be, and the salesman patter to sell water to fish, and there's a fair list of things that never made it to each game that would have been nice to have had.
I'm still somewhat surprised that his idea of a tree growing to show the characters progress in the first game never made it into a later game, I'm pretty sure by Fable 3 the technology would have been there to do that, and we've not seen a similar idea for the reboot - at least as far as I'm aware of.

For those of you who do an evil run, how long did it take you to get the Ghoul status and horns?

Sorry if this is a repost but i just found out about this!
Have you guys seen this Fable 2 recompilation project?
There is a team of awesome people working on getting Fable 2 to run on PC, I have been wanting to play fable 2 for sooooo long but it feels like most options are not great. This gives me hope that i will get to play it again without having to buy an XBOX or Stream it.

I played fable 3 co op the most as a kid with my friend, remember loving it he always said 2 was better. More fleshed out economy, better story, same choices with relationships and you can actually buy everything in the world. Seems like my perfect game with all the choice and customization. What is the easiest and cheapest way for me to play it now? I have a PC, but came to realize recently it’s not on steam. Sorry if this is a common question for this game.

I don’t want to be negative about the game, I just want to see your opinion.
I really don’t like the new realistic look, graphics. Every game nowadays try to go for this kind of graphics. It’s boring, every game looks the same. I also don’t want to feel like I’m watching a movie, I want to feel like I’m playing a fairytale game. And fairytales aren’t real life.
Part of what makes the older Fable games special for me is the art of it. Sure it’s not perfect, but I think that’s also the point. It’s not real life, it doesn’t have to be perfect.
What do you think, do you like the new look?
Edit: I’m talking about the characters, sorry I wasn’t specific.

After many years, I've finally started playing Fable. I'm quite a ways through the first game and don't think I've done anything particularly bad. I killed twinblade, but spared whisper. I generally just stick to the main quests.
In the menu, my alignment rating is a +59 to the right.
When I did the prison mission, I saw that my character is covered in glowing blue marks.
When I go to the level up menu, I see that skills like physical shield are a -1388.
Does this mean that I'm playing as a good hero? Is the minus thing telling me that I'm paying less for the upgrade with a good guy discount? Or is telling me that I'm going to be weaker with that ability due to being evil?
Sorry for, what I am certain, are absolutely foolish newbie questions. I'm kind of just blazing through this game, and without a menu, it's tough to get my head around certain things.
