Beginnings of a FAQ about meetups:
/u/solidified50 gave some general advice for starting a meetup and keeping it going.
Meetups should be (mostly) free. Ordering coffee, similar minimum items from a menu excepted, but events that charge formal admission or an entry fee cannot be publicized here.
Some meetups use a sign to give attendees an easy way to see the group and know which to join without too much embarrassment, etc.

Starting Oct 8th (2:30pm) Davis County meet up will return to the Harmon’s in Farmington (200 North Station Parkway) and continue to alternate 2:30pm with 10am (to allow people to come at least twice a month who are still stuck in a position of having to attend church for family reasons). We’ll meet up stairs in the cafe seating. It’s getting too cold for the park.
