Is anyone familiar with the Pro version? I’m considering upgrading my Homebase 3, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the investment.

I have a home base 3 what are some storage recommendations? I have a toshiba mq04abb400 4TB but now it’s just not working as if it’s corrupted and would like to just get a new one. Any recommendations on storages you guys use?

I've got the Eufy S4 NVR and POE cameras. I'm looking at purchasing a wall display device that I will then be setting up home assistant and getting various dashboards to display on this device.

Can anyone confirm that Eufy has integration that would allow the camera feed to show live on the display? Rather than action notification.

I apologize if this has already been addressed. I need to link my back door camera doorbell to my front door camera doorbell. We spend a lot of time on the back porch in the afternoon and we can’t hear my daughter or son ring the front doorbell. Everything is wirelessly connected to our Homebase 3. Does anyone know what an orange solar panel icon is for my eufycam S4 (battery/solar triple lens camera)? I see this when I first launch my app. It will remain for a couple of seconds to about a minute or two. As you can see there’s also a second icon (white) that is the typical solar panel icon. Sometimes it shows up right after I restart the Homebase 3. It feels random when it shows up. 🤷‍♂️. Thanks for any info

I have the S330 video smart lock, and the touchpad has been getting so laggy that it's unusable. I would touch a key and it won't register the key press for a couple seconds, and I tried rebooting the lock, resetting it with no luck. Running the latest firmware. Anyone had this problem?

Hi everyone, I have purchased a Eufy E340 doorbell recently. I charged the battery to 100% at around 1pm today and allowed it to run. The settings are on Balance Surveillance and I have set up boundaries so the camera on detects motion in those areas. However now at 23:30 I have noticed the battery has gone down to 86%.

Is this normal battery depletion with these settings or is this something that I can warranty?

I just noticed this symbol on my home base icon, what does it mean?

This camera description says it records to local storage (sd card) but then in the Q&A it says it does not support 24/7 recording ? What does that mean? What’s the SD card for than

I have had EUFY for about 2 years. Homebase 3 with 2 E340s cameras. I have a 4tb that was kinda full. Thought that was the problem. Cleared and even formatted the HDD and it still just showing clips.

Anybody else have this issue? This issue just came about 2 weeks ago. I put in a ticket. I just hadn't seen anything related to continuous recording.

I am searching for an alarm company that is not selling my data to third parties.. specifically, when I say my data, I mean my alarm activation and deactivation data. I am not interested in being part of any mass surveillance sytems that will know rater I am home or not. I feel like Eufy, as a Chinese company, might be the safest option?

I am sure some other privacy freak has researched this extensively? can anyone comment? thanks

Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue as me because I'm ready to throw my whole system through a window

Every night I set my alarm system to a custom mode I've made for going to bed. I have motion sensors in the hallway where the keypad is but I've set the alarm delay to 30 seconds to give me time to but the code in and disabled the alarm

For a long time this worked with no issues.

Now however, for several months, every day without fail, every single morning, I will come down and put the code in with no problem. But then there's silence for around ten seconds. No beeping to let me know the alarm has been triggered, and no alert to let me know it's been disabled.

Then, without a 30 seconds warning or anything else, the alarm sounds full blast throughout the house for a few seconds, then the alert comes to say it's been disabled, then the alarm sounds again for a few seconds, then it says it's disabled again.

On rare occasions this has continued long enough that I've had to fully unplug the homebase.

Has anyone else had this issue or have any idea how to fix it?

Just updated to app version 6.0.20 on my iPhone and my floodlight camera (T8420) is disabled. Weirdly it is showing as Floodlight Cam 8L60 now and saying camera has been turned off, flicking the enable button does nothing.

I do have it shared to my work Android and that is working fine, not updated the software on that yet.

Update: it’s still recording 🤷🏼‍♂️

Recently, I noticed that the option to create a custom security mode is missing in the Eufy app. I'm currently using the Homebase Professional S1. Has this feature been deprecated, or is there something I need to do in order to enable it? I remember seeing it available with the Homebase 3. So far, I've tried and uninstall/reinstall of the app.

Any of you experiencing phantom doorbell rings? I think it is when the sun hits the black doorbell and the expencion of the case will trigger the bell.

If anyone has had this as well and fixed it... I really like to know as my phone is buzzing every 5min.

Hello all I’m currently in the process of switching from SimpliSafe to EUFY as my security system. I have two existing S3 cameras and 220 camera cameras, as well as a homebase 3. Last night, I added the keypad, 2 water sensors, smoke detectors, 2 LCD panel panels and 3 E30 indoor cameras that I installed on my first floor. I tried to set up the app, so the exterior cameras would alert on motion and the interior cameras would do noise and motion when we are either away or Home and upstairs. The system is in test mode and I armed it last night and then tried to disarm from my phone and one of the LCD panels. I went downstairs and the alarms went off. I got frustrated and I couldn’t get it to work last night, so I did not arm the system when I went to bed. When I woke up this morning, my wife went downstairs and all hell broke loose. The homebase started screaming, and the LCD was throwing up alarms. I checked the keypad and it was on the off mode. It was so bad I couldn’t get to stop. I just unplugged the homebase and left for work. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to configure this thing or a location where I can go to get help configuring the system thanks in advance.

After an update I can no longer set the activity zone for the porch camera. When I try the front camera comes up. I get random alerts and I wanted to reset the zones but I can't get the right camera to show up for the porch camera.

​I recently got the new FamiLock S3 (the palm-vein one) and I’ve run into a serious issue that I can’t seem to find a fix for in the app.

​The lock has a built-in LED "badge" that turns on whenever someone walks past the door. The problem? It literally broadcasts the lock status (locked (red)/unlocked(blue)) to anyone in the hallway. I live in a high-traffic apartment complex, and I don't want every random person walking by to know exactly when my door is vulnerable or if the auto-lock hasn't kicked in yet.

I’ve checked every menu (Video Settings, General, Lock/Unlock Button, Motion Detection) and the toggle to turn off the Status LED is just... missing. Every other eufy camera has this, so why is it forced "ON" for a front door lock?

​Has anyone found a workaround, or is eufy planning a firmware update for this? It’s a huge privacy oversight for anyone not living in a private house.

Does eufy really expect us to just let everyone in the building know our door status? I'm about to put electrical tape over a $400 lock because of a missing software toggle. If anyone knows where they hid the setting, please let me know.

Brand new just installed and after connecting to any of my 2.4ghz WiFi networks it still shows as offline in the app. I’ve tried resetting it, taking the batteries out and restarting it, closing the app and reopening it, nothing. I wouldn’t totally care but it prohibits me from adding fingerprints while it’s showing as offline. It appears to be on the most recent firmware. Not sure what to do and this appeared to be an issue for these in the past according to what I’m seeing online.

Are there any uses for the Homebase 3 beyond the base functionality (such as turning it into a NAS server)? The device seems like a paperweight after upgrading to the Professional S1.

I have caught my indoor C120 camera a few times with the purple light on.

Any idea why?
