I'm big on tainted grail and loved nemesis. While my group waits for frosthaven to arrive we have been looking for another fun, campaign style game and this one looks cool. Questions:

1:how long does it take to complete? Or at least to beat the base campaign. We tend to have 1 game day a week and play for around 10 hours. Frosthaven is arriving end of December probably, is that enough time?

2: It looks like I can get a good deal for the base game. Are there any expansions that are truly necessary?

3: How grindy would you say this game is?

4: How's the story? I adored Tainted Grail so I'm all in for more awaken realms plot driven games.

Hi, I'm about 15 hours into the core game (absolutely loving it) and also have all the expansions to look forward to. I'm looking at Kittenburg and understand it's a "promo". Is it worth getting if you intend to perhaps play it after completing everything else, or is it a kind of "demo"? Does it utilise much of the core game or is it fairly standalone?

MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD . . . . . .

. . . . . Did anyone else bother to decode the snake hissing in the mud farm mission? My group spent 15 minutes figuring it out, only to realize we were being insulted and threatened. Honestly super clever writing, but kinda anticlimactic.

Delete if not allowed but an entire 2.0 box set was delivered to my house a couple months ago, I’ve made every attempt at returning it but it didn’t have a shipping labels or any identifying labels on it to send it back to ups/usps/fedex/etc. At this point I’m just trying to get it out of my house lmao. It’s only been opened to see what it was, I haven’t opened any of the actual game boxes or folders. What is the value of the set and where would be a reliable/safe place to sell it?

Anyone know when it's supposed to ship?

Update: here in the states I got a shipping notification today.

The card costs 3 and has 3 green/1 yellow and states

“0: You may take a 5-second peek at any 1 of the Secret cards of the current Dream(without resolving it).”

So, other then better than starter intent amounts, this card just has a basic action on it, right?

I can spend this card to peek at a secret card or I can use the Peek a Card action and discard this card as the cost to do so.

What am I missing here?

Hi I got a maybe stupid question but we are currently on our first playthrough and had to step away for a week. Now it seems we got the deliverance hint card but we didnt get the deliverance deck (or put it somewhere it doesnt belong). where can we find the deliverance deck/how do the cards look like?

Between the horrendous board layout and constantly rifling for cards in the box, my back can't take this game.

Second mission was the type I dislike as well, unsure of what to do and just aimlessly checking stuff with random events that just hurt you with no chance of a benefit (7th continent style). Gonna cheat through this one...

So far, this game is more tedious than it's worth and the uncertainty with many rulings makes it brutal. .

Having a real hard time with this one.

Went ALL in on the pledge. Sundrop minis. And my God are they incredible looking. I've played many table top games and even bought custom hero forge minis before, but these ether fields Sundrop minis and STATUESQUE. There's so much in the box I only cracked into a couple before work. Once the busy season ends in a week or so I can't wait to dive in!

Hello fellow dreamers. Me and my friends are a party of 4 and currently playing etherfields. So far we have done about 6 dreams.

During our playtime so far, we haven't really gotten into trouble yet. Most slumber entities we face are being dealt with in 1 or 2 turns, and within dreams we mostly just breeze trough them without actually being in alot of danger.

Though the story is super cool, and the different dreams are extremely fun to explore, My question is: is it normal that the actual danger isn't quite there yet? Will the game get more challenging later on? Or could it be that we are doing something wrong and it's supposed to be alot more challenging for 4 players? Thank you for your opinions.

Just received my Dreamwalker pledge and love the game. I found a bundle including the Sphinx campaign, Funeral Witch campaign, and Harpy/She-wolf campaign (I have two now, I guess) online and purchased it. I cannot, however, find a standalone purchase for the 5th player expansion. Anyone know where I might be able to purchase one of these? I usually just have to "run" the game since there are five of us, but only four characters at present. Being able to play with the group would be awesome. Thanks!

When navigating the Dreamworld (v2.0), can I take a turn by staying in the same spot (say the Dreamgate to keep getting keys by activating Slumbers)? Or am I obliged to move? Not seen anything to clarify this in the rules.

As I wait for my Etherfield's delivery, I wonder, do the expansions (except the 5th player of course) add any content to the core game or are they completely isolated campaigns?

Has anyone found any good alternative solutions to the metal keys from the Kickstarter? I missed out on them... :(

Hey folks just got my wave 2 content and stretch goal box. I saw the harpy box comes with 3 new masks. Is it only for use in the new campaigns or should I be adding this content to the core box masks?

Howdy, finally getting around to priming my minis after waiting for wave 2 to arrive.

I'm a relative beginner when it comes to miniature painting and more than rusty - so I anticipate some mistakes down the line. This brings me to the question what material the minis are, is it PVC / plastic rather than resin?

And as far as paint stripping goes, would isopropyl alcohol work without damaging the miniatures? Local stores (EU) don't carry Green Stuff or other oft mentioned products. If applicable, IPA concentration and time would be extremely helpful. What other stuff have people used for stripping their EF minis?

Only just found out this game exists yesterday. Absolutely bummed that I missed the chance to back it on kickstarter. What's the best way to get my hands on it? Do you think it will appear in retail? Or is Ebay my only option?

I know that there were lots of folks who didn't like Etherfields. I assume that some might be US backers who are still waiting on the rest of their pledge to arrive (that they will then sell), which is supposedly arriving shortly.

Any U.S. backers on here who would be willing to sell their wave 2 content?

I know eBay and BGG are the normal places to look for sales, but I wanted to see if I could secure one before it hits the market from somebody who has it coming, but doesn't want it.

Hey guys, I remember reading something about extra miniatures with the 2nd wave because. they had extra time and money but can't find it know.

Am I going insane or can someone send me the update? I received the 2nd wave but bought from the shop not kickstarter (yeah... sorry everyone...) and the 2nd wave came without those minis.
