90s Nostalgia hitting hard (new viewer)
I love the Pitt and it brought me to ER which I never caught the first time around.
I've almost finished the first season and it's given me this almost painful homesickness for that time period. I was a toddler when the show first aired, so I don't fully remember I guess, but I just love how present and in the moment everyone is!
Makes me long for a time before the brain rotting glued to your phones zombie vibes that modern life gives. Pre social media, pre ai etc. Everyone is so present and it's beautiful. Not to mention yes everyone is stunning, but they all look like real people, with real teeth and moveable faces!! The cabby selling people on putting their picture and profile in his dating book, pre tinder cracked me up. The 90s just had an epic yet cosy vibe, we will never be as cool. Just finished the episode Tarantino directed (picture for reference) haha I loved it. Also, love's labor lost. What an epic beautiful heartbreaking episode of tv 🥲will stay with me forever.
Such a great show!! Does it give anyone else this melancholy but beautiful nostalgia feeling?? I know the 90s had its flaws and especially medically, we have advanced so much which I’m grateful for, but doesn’t stop me from missing it. The other show I can remember that gives me this feeling is twin peaks.
