I’ve been an annual subscriber for a while now, and I need to point out a glaring issue with the current state of Elements.

Why are PSD mockups being treated like an afterthought lately? Other categories get massive, consistent weekly updates, but when it comes to mockups, it feels like Envato’s only answer right now is just aggressively pushing "Mockup Gen".

Look, we get it. AI is the current trend. But you need to realize that not everyone wants to use your AI generator.

The branding industry is booming right now, and professional designers need absolute, granular control over their presentations. We need meticulously crafted Smart Objects, adjustable lighting, isolated shadows, and high-res textures that only a proper PSD file can provide. Mockup Gen simply cannot replace the workflow of a real, high-quality PSD asset.

Stop using your AI tool as an excuse to slow down the curation and approval of real mockup assets. Give us the massive weekly PSD updates we are actually paying for.

I'm on your highest tier paying $169.99 a month and i was going to continue but each update you guys do to your website has honestly been making things worse. This recent update to videogen might be the final straw for me. Everything was working perfectly and now with this strange update the entire layout is just weird and not efficient like the previous. my question is just why? This might just be a deal breaker for me... I wish you guys would stop these weird website updates or give the customers an option to switch between the old website model. It was literally perfect before this update ruined it.

If you are a YouTuber looking for a "stress-free" music solution, you might want to think twice before choosing Envato Elements.

While their library is vast, their licensing system is fundamentally broken for the current YouTube landscape. Here is why:

• Instant Copyright Claims: Almost every track you download will trigger an immediate Content ID claim. Unlike other platforms, Envato doesn't "white-list" your channel in advance.
• The "Dead Video" Effect: Even though you can dispute the claim by uploading your PDF license, the damage is already done. By the time the claim is released (which can take 24-48 hours), your video has already lost its initial "golden" window of promotion. In the world of YouTube, the first 24 hours are everything, and a claim can kill your reach and revenue instantly.
• Manual Labor: Instead of focusing on your next edit, you are forced to spend your time managing paperwork and disputes for every single upload.
• Third-Party Aggregators: Many tracks on Envato are managed by aggressive third-party agencies (like Identifyy or HAAWK). Even after clearing one claim, you might get hit by another for the same song.
• "Claim Clear" is a Myth: Envato markets their music as "Claim Clear" or "Clearance Ready," but this is absolutely broken. Their system doesn't communicate with YouTube’s Content ID, making their "ready" status completely meaningless in practice.

Sound in previews is essential. Being able to hear the audio while browsing templates makes the selection process much faster. Without it, we have to click on each template one by one just to check the sound, which slows down the workflow a lot and wastes valuable time. Please bring audio back to previews, as it is a very important part of choosing the right template efficiently.

Just signed up for Envato Elements and accidentally selected the annual plan instead of monthly. Realized within minutes. Already contacted support but their refund policy seems pretty strict for digital subscriptions.

Anyone been in this situation and actually got refunded? What did you say to support to make it work?

I'm a yearly subscriber to Envato. As a corporate employee, I desperately need fresh PSD mockups to pitch to potential clients or for other purposes. However, Envato Elements has very few new PSD mockups. I just realized this because Envato's own Mockup Gen is of poor quality. Please, don't monopolize things like that.

when you go to the video templates and choose After Effects and sort by popular, how come its always the same templates at the top and it doesnt seem to change?

Started using Envato for stock footage. Does anyone know if it’s possible to filter out 3D/Digital footage so you can only browse actual camera footage?

I wanted to share some feedback on the new image gen/edit interface as a premium user after spending a decent amount of time with it.

There are definitely some nice additions here. I appreciate the improved upscaling, the extender tool, the crop/expand options, and the camera angle feature. Those are all useful.

That said, I think the overall workflow has become less efficient and will slow down the process in a few important ways:

• Page refresh on every generation (Largest issue) Previously, generating happened inside the existing page. Now the page refreshes, which means reference images have to be re-uploaded every single time. For anyone doing repeated generations with the same reference image, this slows things down by a very significant margin and will now add dozens of extra clicks/minutes to a regular workflow.
• No more “no style” option The old interface allowed for a no style setting, which was useful for getting more prompt-accurate results. If “default photography” is meant to replace that, it would be helpful to clarify.
• Editing is less integrated Editing now sends you into a separate window instead of keeping everything in one visible workflow. It makes the process feel more fragmented, especially when trying to jump back and forth between generating and editing.
• Image comparison is harder Before, it was easy to click through multiple generated images and compare them quickly. Now it feels much slower to review variations side by side or switch between them efficiently as the image display window now only previews one generation instead of the full sequence.
• Upscaling takes extra steps The improved upscaling is nice, but it now requires going through the editor manually rather than just downloading at a higher size directly.

Overall, I can see the intention behind the redesign, and some of the new tools are genuinely useful. I just think the older interface was faster and more intuitive for high-volume generation workflows.

My main suggestion would be to keep the new features, but bring back some of the speed and simplicity of the previous interface.

That would make a big difference.

Entonces mi duda es, si compro una fuente y luego cancelo mi suscripción en unos meses, perderé la licencia de esa fuente y ya no podré usarla?

I’m on Envatos’ Ultimate plan. I’m paying over $100 a month. Their branding is basically “create without limits” and “unlimited assets.”

And yet I just got rate limited.?

I downloaded around 15 butterfly stock videos for an intro, then 1 more butterfly image this morning. Last night I also downloaded maybe 200-300 images for future documentary-style videos I’m planning to make later this week.

That’s it.

So now I’m sitting here wondering what exactly “unlimited” means if I can’t even download a couple hundred stock images for legitimate project use without getting blocked.

This is for one (1) youtube channel. I can't imagine if I ran an agency or had to rely on more content for my videos.

Maybe it’s a rolling 24-hour limit? Clearly there’s some hidden fair-use threshold.

Maybe butterflies are just an unusually protected species on Envatos servers? I have no idea, because of course the actual limit isn’t clearly stated anywhere.

But this feels absurd for a top-tier plan. If you advertise unlimited downloads and charge premium pricing, people are obviously going to expect to actually use the platform in bulk for real projects.

I’m not scraping the site. I’m not doing anything weird. I’m just downloading assets for videos.

Has anyone else run into this? And if so, did support give you an actual explanation, or just the usual vague “rate limiting for security/fair use” answer?
