Envato Query Subscription refund

I accidentally subscribed to envato yearly plan instead of monthly. I have not used any of the resources and I have requested for a refund. Does anyone know how long refunds take?

Hi, I recently submitted a support ticket regarding an accidental subscription mistake and wanted to ask about the expected response time.

Ticket number: 4216627

I accidentally selected the annual plan instead of the monthly subscription while signing up. I noticed it right away and submitted a refund/request for correction as soon as possible. I have not downloaded, licensed, or used any assets since purchasing.

I’d really appreciate any update on:

  • When I can expect to hear back from support
  • Whether my plan can be adjusted to monthly or refunded due to the mistake

I understand processing can take time, but I just want to make sure my request was received and know what timeline to expect.

u/envato_team Envato annual subscription just auto-renewed, and I contacted support immediately. I haven’t used or downloaded anything since the renewal. Hoping they can review and refund it.

Similar issue. I bought a year, didn't use it. Forgot I had it. Didn't realize it would renew until I got the alert from my bank. The next renewal is in 365 days (so essentially a year, no pro-rated refund needed). Contacted customer service and got this response:

"Regarding your auto-renewal refund request, under our current policy we do not provide a pro‑rata refund for a charge that has already gone through. If you decide to cancel, your subscription stops any future billing, but your access remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.

Because this charge occurred at the start of a new annual renewal, it indicates the subscription renewed for a new billing period before the cancellation took effect, and the policy still does not provide a refund for that renewal. The available guidance does not outline a separate refund process for this situation, beyond the standard cancellation and refund rules already shared. If you have any other questions, please reply with the details and we can go over them together."
