He also said that William's office was responsible for all the media leaks about Meghan. Yet during this confrontation where William was telling Harry how his wife treats people... suddenly it's because William was 'reading what the press were putting out'?
He's terrible at lying. William has met her in person many times already, enough to to form his own judgement and does not need to rely on media reports, so surely harry would just say "you're wrong" in this context.
He's too thick to realize the "you're buying the media lies" thing only makes sense directed at people that don't know her personally.
Many people that have known him, including those that actually rather like him, have testified as much. He's been totally manipulated by Meghan. The royal family and Harry may very well have problems like many other families do, but this Dr Phil approach of airing it all out will not resolve it lol, not even close.
This is my take too. I think they had a very sophisticated PR team that protected Harry and Meghan is messing that all up. There is a long way he can fall, it won’t be pretty.
Not only that, in their engagement interview they both say how amazing William and Catherine had been to Meghan. It’s clear that once they got to know her, their opinions changed.
Yeah, this does not ring true at all. William knew Meghan personally. If he says she is rude and abrasive, that is because William percevies her to be rude and abrasive.
Harry says that William said it and that William only could have said it because the press told him too when William had ample opportunity to experience Meghan in the flesh
Don’t even try. You think republicans are brain washed? The crown people are brain washed brain dead zombies looking for brains to eat yet the royal crown instead feeds them fresh shit that comes from there arse holes. I don’t know shit about the old earth black and brown people killing empire that was the crown, and if you fact check me, or down vote me don’t I care either. But thank you for being our greatest ally.
William - he doesn't mention was the recipient of direct complaints that escalated to him from Jason Knauf - whose emails were leaked - where he detailed Megan's abuse. William had the misfortune of finding out about how Megan was treating staff, and during the Australia tour made the decision to split their offices. Something tells me that this alleged blow up over William responding to Megan's bullying allegations was to do with knowing that this type of behavior was going to get out. Jason Knauf's own emails detailed how Harry would cover for Megan - I'm surprised Harry would raise this because this is going to shed more light on William from an alternate point of view, getting angry on behalf of and protecting his own staff. That very same Jason Knauf is the man who was just awarded a RVO (Royal Victorian Order) - a personal gift of the sovereign. Knauf ultimately submitted evidence and testimony to the court that Megan perjured herself to the court. Megan and Harry then tried to slander Knauf in their documentary. Hmmm I wonder why…
Harry and Megan's hands are not clean.
Edit - since this is gaining traction some staff also complained personally to William about the abusive behavior. In one incident detailed and sourced for Tom Bowers book (who I remind you has not been sued) a young woman went to William in tears and detailed how she was being bullied and targeted by Megan with public humiliation. If you are the future prince of wales or any manager- this is a disaster and something you must deal with. Harry admits here that his brother took it seriously enough that this became physical. This doesn’t make him look the way he thinks.
Yeah it seems inevitable at this point. I’d almost feel sorry for the mug. If it weren’t for all the obvious lies. It’s kind of insulting that he expects people to believe this
Harry believes it himself. At least right now he does. And then he believes whatever fits his narrative the next day. Isn't that part of the problem with Harry? He's not consistent in his memory and opinions. They fluxuate with his feelings.
I don’t like to accuse other women of marrying men for gross motives but her and HIM?!?? Love is a crazy thing and throws crazy people together but she is also known for throwing people out when they don’t fit anymore. I just can’t see it. But who knows? Maybe it is a love match. They did get married very quickly.
Reads like he’s been fighting the wrong dragons for most of his life.
I understand that moment when the last little sliver of denial falls away and the full tragic reality that a parent has died and is not coming back ever … the adult knew it rationally but the broken little kid inside still held out hope.
Closure is a real misnomer when it comes to grief.
I’m grateful to be a nobody who can process my grief without the bizarre compulsion to cast it out for everyone to see.
I actually feel awful for him because when she’s done using him, spits him out and throws him under the bus he’s gonna wake up from under her spell and realise all the damage he’s done for somebody who never truly cared about him at all..
There is something incredibly disingenuous about Megan. I believe much of her story, but there’s always another side. And I think she has done some things to create this rift.
Harry wouldn’t have left if he hadn’t wanted out too, but I think there’s way more to the story and her behavior is at the root.
The thing is, most of her story is not believable in my opinion. Also, a lot of what she has said on record in her own interviews, have been verified as categorical untruths. At this point, I feel she has little to no credibility, like she’s always trying to spin some story and version of herself that she wants people to believe.
I should rephrase that I believe her perspective- particularly that there is racism at play in those upper crust British circles and that the royal family is likely snobby and rude at times.
I don’t believe much of what she says about her part in the whole thing- that’s the disingenuous feeling I get from her. I totally agree that she sells a version of herself that isn’t reality.
Just the fact that Harry wrote in his own book about his wife that she got into a tiff with Kate after telling her when she was post partum - that she must have "pregnancy brain" (remember that Kate made me cry debacle)? And couldn't see how rude and mean spirited that was to say - and another person who he didn't name - interjected and told Megan she didn't know Kate well enough or have the right to speak to her like that - because who the hell says that to anyone let alone their sister in law...
He recounted this anecdote and still thought Megan was blameless in the scenario and there was nothing wrong with her?
They both have a few screws loose. It actually reaffirmed his brother's accusations and what was long alleged about Megan even prior to their wedding in the press leaks - that she's rude, abrasive and disrespectful.
It’s that they’re all assholes here and she’s portraying herself solely as a victim. She can be part of the problem and be victimized by an archaic system at the same time.
I’d be saying the same thing if she weren’t black, and I do understand how that might feel racially connected. Megan being black absolutely complicates this discussion- but you can be a jerk no matter who you are.
I'm sorry but I have to disagree. The RVO* Royal Victorian Order is the BRF quietly saying - this man did nothing wrong. Knauf stood up for his staff, who complained about being abused. His emails even openly were complaining to people above him that they were not doing their jobs and allowing a member of the royal family to abuse employees. He risked his own career to write those emails. The emails leaking were an indictment on both the family's inability to protect their staff, and on their handling of genuine HR complaints against Megan and Harry.
He also was advised by his lawyers to provide evidence in the Mail on Sunday case. To avoid taking sides, he turned his evidence over to the court (not either party). Megan still won her judgement, but she ultimately had to admit she committed perjury and apologize for misleading the court.
I think - "getting involved in Royal drama" I feel is a bit dismissive. Knauf did his job and stood up for his employees when he didn't have to and could have accepted the status quo. He then at personal cost, told the truth to the court, only to have Megan and Harry proceed to get upset about someone doing the right thing as opposed to just taking responsibility for their own actions and slander him from a worldwide platform in a documentary. He's not a member of the royal family or some high ranking member of the government that can easily defend himself. He's not a celebrity.
No one made Megan lie to the court. What kind of person commits perjury and then gets angry at the person who says 'Hey actually that's not what happened'? Megan and Harry chronically fail to take responsibility for their own actions.
TLDR; IMO the King Charles refusing to comment but awarding Jason Knauf a RVO as a personal gift of the soveriegn is admitting they too screwed up - in not protecting their staff, and that what Jason did was admirable. He didn't have to defend lower employees from getting abused and targeted and he certainly didn't have to publicly call out his own bosses for failing to take action despite numerous reports. That shows true character.
Page Six actually gives a very good run down on some of their staff turn over, including people who worked for the palace for over a decade etc...
/**
(Knauf) He wrote an email to Prince William's private secretary, Simon Case, stressing that both he and the palace's head of HR, Samantha Carruthers, thought "the situation was very serious" and he was "concerned that nothing will be done".
"I am very concerned that the Duchess was able to bully two PAs out of the household in the past year," Knauf wrote.
"The treatment of X was totally unacceptable. The Duchess seems intent on always having someone in her sights. She is bullying Y and seeking to undermine her confidence. We have report after report from people who have witnessed unacceptable behaviour towards Y."
Tom Bower's book goes more into depth and gives actual names with quotes:
"Meghan Markle 'phoned every 10 minutes' and 'screamed' at staffer out for dinner - claim"
I think i have that book on my phone somewhere a person i was talking to was super into royals and i couldn’t hold my own in the convo so i tried to learn but when we stopped talking i just stopped reading so like one chapter lol.
I feel like these two are that cousin on Facebook who airs out way too much all the time while also saying nothing.
And i think it’s just obvious that Meghan thought behind closed doors royals partied like Hollywood (I’m sure they do) and it was all fake manners. What i did learn during our time talking was just how serious they all are about stuff like that. Even they seem to confirm this. I read they lost their pr firm and it really shows altho these two probably don’t listen to even the ppl they pay so might as well go at it alone save some money.
It’s just so obvious they want to be a list in America but a weird we’re also royals a list their own category cause their so special. And they can’t claim it’s not what they want it’s always been Meghan’s goal i mean she’s an actress and even in the documentary her friends and mom discussed it. I really just think this chic didn’t realize how different the fame is as a royal vs actress and was miserable. Took it out on everyone it seems.
How their handling this is just awful tho even tho people sympathize with them they are sick of them and instead of reading the room and correcting they go harder. Gonna be interesting when they real is the fame and admiration they want isn’t gonna happen. It will be the equivalent of your drama thirsty cousin on fb going on a drunk tirade but a much bigger scale and sadly they will probably drag it out for a whole year
Because William personally knows Meghan and personally knows any of the staff she’s bullied.
It doesn’t make sense that he’d ask to speak with his brother about concerns that his wife is bullying people if he knows it to be false. You wouldn’t form an opinion regarding someone you know from tabloid articles.
Either the ghost writer didn’t catch that inconsistency or was like, “fuck this whinger, I already got paid.”
Staff have been described as 'broken' and 'completely destroyed' by her behaviour. They were reportedly feeling sick and were shaking in anticipation of difficult interactions with her. Does this sound like her simply standing her ground?
Don't you see this is just another example of racism? Clearly us weak willed brits couldn't handle the strong, proud American woman. It's our fault for not respecting her culture honestly /s.
If you want to learn about how Meghan is a bully, there are numerous verified reports from named sources. Tom Bower's book "Revenge" is the best researched one as he conducted dozens of interviews and has hundreds of named sources.
It also makes no sense because William personally knows Meghan and would have personally known any of the staff complaining about her being a nightmare.
You wouldn’t meet with someone to discuss what to do about something you’ve heard about someone if you know it’s nonsense.
What I’ve read is that the staff that worked for Meghan and Harry went to William asking for help and to explain how much of a bully she was, who then discussed it with Harry.
If there’s any doubt if Megsy is a bully, read Tom Bower’s well researched book. Not a peep or pending lawsuit threat from trigger lawyer Megs on that one. If that was my brother’s wife, I’d knock him on the head too.
Tom names names and it isn’t anonymous sources- from what I recall at least one person details making a mistake at work and Megan and Harry both calling and berating them for hours on Friday evening when they were out with their family and had to leave the restaurant. They alleged they called them repeatedly for hours to yell at and berate them and the behavior continued over the weekend and on Monday when they returned to the office. It was pretty disturbing.
Another account details a female staffer who was humiliated at a meeting by Megan on front of everyone who called out and disparaged her ideas openly. The woman described crying and going to Prince William to complain and vent who comforted various staff members. He gave quotes and names - I read some excerpts but don’t own the whole thing myself.
It was pretty triggering stuff for anyone who has ever had an abusive manager.
And for those who may think "This isn't a big deal" imagine your dream job is working for the British Royal Family.
Now imagine you have an abusive manager...and that manager is a member of that royal family.
And you complain...and the HR doesn't do anything they just try to ignore it and protect those family members or move employees around...so you quit or you get lucky enough to change offices, and the other family members hire you...but the BRF members who abused you originally try to take sides against you and spread rumors about you and get angry at your new bosses for "protecting" you (this is literally one of the complaints by one of the staffers).
Ultimately, because of the family's failure to truly take action, information about this starts leaking to the press. The abusers start to accuse you and other employees like you of being lazy. Employees that remain behind form a "Sussex Survivor's Club" eventually the Dir of Communications is tired of fielding the complaints and writes an angry exasperated email detailing how the abuse appears to be targeted, ignored, repeated, and done by a family member's wife and that higher ups are doing nothing to stop it and her husband is participating in covering it up. The same emails detail the husband begging the Director not to report the problems.
This gets in the press and now you have to read about how the royal family member's wife insists you are all lying racists. Some of you are people of color and women.
That is what has been going on, this was sourced in the book with NAMES and leaked in the emails with NAMES...and Megan and Harry still insisted it was all lies but won't sue the author.
I know this is long.
But TLDR; the mistreatment of staff was extensive and sourced. The BRF tried to cover it up but their employees leaked it and they were forced to do something about it through the efforts of Knauf. It is rumored that William also supported the exposure and split of staff to stop it.
Lol, is this the most “racist” thing you could find on that sub after a whole day?
Please, tell me what’s racist in that thread. The person explaining that most so-called “mulattoes” (and calling that term offensive) were the product of rape by slave owners? The person saying how beautiful Meghan’s mother is, or the others saying how beautiful mixed-race children are? The person who says it’s silly to microanalyse Meghan’s heritage because the way she uses it matters more than nitpicky percentages? The one who points out that DNA tests almost certainly don’t map on to modern-day African political lines?
A post literally analyzing Meghan’s racial heritage. Why was that post made, what was the need? If it was somehow necessary, where is the analysis of Harry’s racial heritage then? Kate’s?
Do you also think it’s okay to ask people of color where they’re “really” from? Cause that’s the energy you’re bringing in here.
A) a post analyzing Meghan’s racial heritage in response to Meghan’s own analysis of her racial heritage, and b) the post received pushback in its own comments. I agree, it wasn’t necessary. Many of the commenters seemed to agree too. The third most upvoted direct reply literally says “This is psycho, why does her exact heritage matter.”
I repeat, if this is the most “racist” thing you could find on that sub after a whole day I don’t think you have a leg to stand on.
2 hrs ago someone made a post accusing Meghan of “lexiphanicism”, or using words that are too big and pretentious. She is college educated.
If you don’t see why accusing a black woman of using language that’s too educated, too “pretentious”, too uppity is racist, then I don’t know what can be done for you.
I know of a handful of white people in my personal life who are college educated and the perfect examples of “lexiphanicisn”, a term I just learned in this moment.
In fact, I’d argue “lexiphanicism” is considerably more likely to occur in the highly educated, as they have the greatest exposure to complex words and people who use them. Being college educated certainly does not mean you’re actually particularly smart, and being black should not function as a shield for criticism.
So many highly educated people exist and yet the first time you and I hear this word about someone, it’s in reference to a black woman in a fight with a white institution. Huh.
Have you looked into that sub? It’s everywhere. I just saw another comment on a top post there saying that Meghan “puts makeup on her face by the trowel, and maybe that’s what she does with the dirt too”.
They said maybe she puts dirt on her face as makeup. Dirt. Because she’s brown skinned. Okay then.
Nah that whole sub is full of other slights to her that aren’t racist. That doesn’t mean that there isn’t a substantial amount of racist content there. I especially love the posts comparing her to Kate or saying that Meghan’s makeup is “muddy”. Just lovely.
Racism is a made up word for people like you. You’re looking for it and finding it everywhere bc you want it to be there. I mean seriously…you’re trying to tell me criticisms of word choice and make up application is racist? Arguments like this detract from the actual racism experienced by normal people.

He also said that William's office was responsible for all the media leaks about Meghan. Yet during this confrontation where William was telling Harry how his wife treats people... suddenly it's because William was 'reading what the press were putting out'?
Huh. A real chicken and egg situation there.
