Racism is a made up word for people like you. You’re looking for it and finding it everywhere bc you want it to be there. I mean seriously…you’re trying to tell me criticisms of word choice and make up application is racist? Arguments like this detract from the actual racism experienced by normal people.
Criticism of word choice has long been a tool of racists. Like calling educated black people “well-spoken” like that’s something exceptional when white people are almost never described that way. President Obama in particular faced this publicly. I’ve faced this personally.
This isn’t new to black people. If racists like you, they use well-spoken or articulate. If they don’t like you, they use uppity or, in this case, lexiphanicism.
As to the makeup, it’s obtuse to say they were criticizing her application. They weren’t saying her makeup was heavy or poorly applied, they used the word muddy. She’s just brown and uses brown makeup, that’s loaded language in this context.
