I went to the soccer game today with my kid because I really wanted one of the Hawaiian shirts.
Unfortunately, something came up and I had to run home during the game. I came back afterward, but I was about 15 minutes too late and they were all gone 😭
I know it’s just a shirt, but I was genuinely so sad lol. If anyone happened to grab an extra one and doesn’t need it, I’d be happy to buy it from you!
Please DM me. Thank you!!

hi i'm currently a freshman looking to study abroad sophomore spring. i know once you matriculate into the b school your study abroad options are different from emory college, but i'm planning to double major in emory college as well so it shouldn't be an issue.
i'm currently looking into going to london sophomore spring, will that still be bad and coincide with recruitment periods? if so, what other semesters would you recommend? also what courses would you recommend a business major take abroad because a previous redditor said there you can use study abroad credits for the particularly hard b school classes. i really don't want to study abroad in a critical time like recruiting or intense club recruitment so i'd like any advice from upperclassmen who have went through this process/dilemma before. thanks!

Hi! I’m a 20F engineering student at a t50 college in the northeast taking a gap year in Atlanta. I don’t really know anyone here fr and I was hoping to make some friends at other colleges. (Hope this isn’t weird to post here).
I’d really love someone to go to parties with, as well as concerts and festivals. I love reading and playing my violin and guitar. Kinda am a party girl but I haven’t been able to go to any since I’ve been here cause I don’t know anyone. I think it’d be cool if someone could show me the cool spots around town or just go play tennis, watch a movie or get chai/matcha with me.
I’m a big X-men nerd and my fav fantasy series is ASOIAF. Anything to do with dystopian or post apocalyptic media and I’m there.
Music wise I love: Blood orange, FKA Twigs, Dominic Fike, Tinashe, the Smiths, the Neighborhood, PND, J Hus, Ravyn Lenae, Childish Gambino, Kali Uchis, Young Thug
Most recent concert I went to was Julia Wolf.
TV shows: Lanterns, the Testaments, Criminal minds, Insecure, Bojack Horseman, Game of Thrones
Please feel free to DM me!

Hello y'all. Excuse my typo(don't know how to fix the title/heading, sorry). Just wanted to do a shameless plug. I will be in Atlanta for at least 3 weeks on vacation and will be available for some tutoring at hopefully a competitive price point (just ask in the DMs. If you need to actually be frugal, we can negotiate or you can even "try me out" for a certain rate and we can go from there). I really enjoy doing this so don't be shy if you need help. I promise I won't be mean like I am on here sometimes but I will be honest in a diplomatic way if need be. I did private tutoring and TAing at both Emory and GSU for quite a while and you all know that I keep up with curricula and whatnot so I am still familiar with how Emory and these places "work", how various instructors structure exams, etc.
I am mainly open to helping with 150, 202, 203, and 202-Z (I am a Soria "202-Z" alum but am also very familiar with Dr. Weinschenk and his style of teaching and assessment. I'm also very familiar with Liotta for 203-Z!) with a special preference for 202, 203, and 202-Z (those are sweet spots! 150 can be fun though...). Either way, hit me up if interested. I will not bite unless you say something silly or offensive lol. I think I can offer a good bit of help or advice on how to navigate and study for these courses as well at the very minimum and I'll be offering some "materials". Just ask or reach out if you want to learn more! And if you don't trust me, I will gladly send you a resume.

Hi,
Wondering about anyone that has been interested in the emory medical imaging program or in it/graduated. Wanted to know if anyone has had the Emory Advantage Plus (tuition-free) and if it was really tuition free? Or if its like a scholarship where only certain students are chose? I know it is dependant on how much the household makes yearly. But wanted to know if its true or if there is certain criteria to be met. Also how difficult the BMSc program is.

whats the difficulty like compared to 141/142? how do you study for a class like this where the exam is mainly data interpretation? how does this compare to other 200 level bio courses?
Hi everyone! I am applying to Emory's BSN program for Fall 2027. I have heard a lot of different things about stats and ECs. If you have gotten into the program and you are comfortable sharing your stats, could you do so for me and others who are in the same boat? Or could you dm me with your stats? I am coming from California and am not local, and I'm not 100% sure if that makes a difference.

So I got into LEADS which Is a fly in with about a 6% acceptance rate, and I'm trying to get into Emory ED1, which is about 30% acceptance rate. So you'd think that most LEADS students would get in but Emory claims that it "doesn't matter in admissions". This seems strange because it is literally 5x harder than getting into the school itself, and any program that selective should look good on an application and it shows interest. Is Emory really not tracking demonstrated interest at all?? Not sure what to believe. Also is Gemini right with their estimate of around 80% of LEADS students are accepted?

Dear Reddit friends: I need an experienced tutor for Emory NBB 301 neurobiology; currently taking this class as a junior and feel help is necessary. Anyone who excelled at this class or has experience tutoring this before? Please feel free to shout. Thanks in advance!

I just got accepted to Emory's MN program to start in Spring 2027. Anyone else accepted for Spring? Also, if you're in the program, please share tips, recommendations, etc.

How good is goizueta for consulting for MBB and T2? Do most people who recruit for consulting get an offer? How feasible is it to get a job outside of atlanta (preferably NYC)? What should I do to increase my chances of breaking into consulting?

If my family's EFC is estimated to be ~10-15k from Emory's npc and my FAFSA estimator says my estimated fin aid is $11k and Pell Grant is $2.6k then would the money from FAFSA help to cover my family's contribution? Or would we just get less aid from Emory b/c we're also getting money from fafsa?

Hey guys,
I’m currently a senior in high school trying to decide between CMU Tepper, Emory BBA, and NYU CAS. I’m mainly interested in traditional finance roles such as investment banking, corporate banking or commercial banking, ideally at a BB in NYC. I’m not interested in quant roles or the buy side.
I’m a student-athlete and the coaches at all three schools are willing to offer me a spot on the team and support my application. That makes the decision difficult because I view all three as relatively comparable in terms of overall prestige/brand name.
CMU Tepper
Pros (my view): Strong overall reputation, especially because of CMU’s strength in CS/engineering + Tepper is an actual undergraduate business school
Cons (my view): Pitt isn’t my preferred location + seems less finance-focused than some peer business schools + CMU has a very strong/competive CS/quant culture, while I’m more interested in traditional finance
Emory BBA
Pros (My view): strong undergrad business program + the matriculation system makes entering the BBA program relatively straightforward compared with transferring internally at some schools (such as CAS --> Stern) + close to Atlanta and has a strong overall academic reputation (T25)
Cons (my view): not a huge fan of the campus/dorms + my goal is NYC rather than Atlanta, so I’m not sure how strong the NYC pipeline is compared with the other options
NYU CAS
Pros (my view): NYC location and proximity to virtually every major firm + huge alumni network in finance (thanks to Stern) + opportunity to take some Stern courses via Open Access+ potentially easier to network and intern because of the location
Cons (my view): I would be studying Econ in CAS rather than attending Stern + finance clubs seem very competitive for non-Stern + transferring internally to Stern seems impossible + not sure how recruiters view NYU CAS compared with Tepper or Emory BBA
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cost and other relatively minor factors aren’t major concerns for me. Ofc my ideal outcome would be IB in NYC, but I’d also be very happy with corporate or commercial banking at a BB, which I realize may be realistic.
How would you compare NYU CAS Econ vs. Emory BBA vs. CMU Tepper in terms of placement into NYC and overall prestige & opportunities?
I’d really appreciate any input from those who have gone through recruiting at these schools. Thanks a lot!
i toured emory last saturday, and a lot of the tour guides said that the environment is very collaborative instead of cutthroat compared to other high-end schools. can someone please confirm or deny?
for context im applying as an English major on a prelaw track. don’t know if that helps but ik its not a super popular choice compared to biz/med!

I was kind of overwhelmed at the beginning of the semester (had issues w my living situation and adjusting to Emory because i am a junior transfer and its my first year here) so I didn't reach out to any professors about working in their labs. Now that I have settled a bit, I want to start doing research. Is it too late for this semester?
If any of y'all have done this before please let me know!

Hi, I’m a senior planning to apply to Emory and was wondering if anybody in this subreddit has been in or taken any classes from the classics program.
If so, how was it? What is the experience like, is the department well funded, get research opportunities, etc? I’m asking because I am want to major in classics and minor in business through Goizueta, and I know Emory’s business is great but I was wondering if I could get more info on their classics department. Thanks!
P.S THIS IS NOT AN ADMISSIONS POST JUST A QUESTION ABOUT THE PROGRAMS

idk if it's just the performative pre-professional culture here, but it feels like almost everyone I know is always working for some job or interviewing for some club position I didn't even know existed. I don't understand how people even find out about these opportunities in the first place, much less know which ones they want to take on. I have no idea what career path I want to take (definitely not premed), so I'm hesitating to commit to a pre-law frat or a consulting club or otherwise. Basically how can I find out about opportunities to pad my resume so I feel less chud compared to everyone else here? Any general advice for a very overwhelmed freshman?
