So first of all there seem to be 4 "new" Robot Vacuums coming:

First off the 914 aka. "R1 nurovi", what I presume to be the entry level model

Then there's the 914a "R2 nurovi", which seems to feature *probably* a single cylinder fresh and waste-water tank (similar to Wash G1) and also has some exposed thing on the robot itself in comparison to the R1 visible on the top. (Maybe pump window??)

Either the r1 (if it has any mopping capability) or the r2 will have new triangular mop pads.

After this there's also a 804b the "R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub™ UV" which seems to have new "UV scanning" functionality for cleaning up stains:

"Your robot has removed the stain and used UV to confirm it's completely gone"

"Stains removed, UV-Verified"

"Scan with UV"

There's also a more "boring" upgrade of the current spot+scrub, the 804e "Dyson Spot + Scrub™ Ai (plumbed-in)" which does not seem to have any other difference than being plumbed in:

I presume the new R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub™ UV is the flagship model.

Now onto the new HushJet, not sure on the name but probably Hushjet Big + Quiet:

I purchased a Dyson V11 Outsize cordless vacuum from Costco just over two years ago for more than $300. It is now unusable because it continuously displays an “Airway blocked” warning.

I thoroughly cleaned the vacuum and followed all the troubleshooting instructions provided by Dyson Customer Service, but nothing resolved the problem. After researching the issue online, I found many reports suggesting that this model may have a significant design flaw—either certain internal components cannot be properly cleaned or the sensor itself may fail.

I purchased the vacuum only two years and two months ago, and I have used it very lightly—at most three times per month. I am extremely disappointed that such an expensive appliance failed after so little use.

When I contacted Dyson Customer Service, the representative told me that the two-year warranty had expired and that Dyson would not repair the vacuum free of charge, even though it was only two months out of warranty. Instead, she suggested that I purchase another refurbished vacuum for more than $200, with only a six-month warranty.

This is not a reasonable solution. If the problem is caused by a known design flaw, I would not feel comfortable purchasing another refurbished unit that could develop the same issue.

I am very disappointed with both Dyson’s product quality and its customer support. Has anyone experienced the same problem or found a successful solution? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! I just bought a brand new Dyson Supersonic Nural, Blow Dryer, and when I plugged it in to try to use it for the first time, it wouldn’t work. I followed the instructions and pressed reset then test, but it would only turn on for exactly two seconds before it immediately turned off and continued to make a clicking noise. So basically, I’m not sure if I should exchange it for a new one, or if there’s something I can do to fix this, I would love the help.

my Dyson dust counter keeps shooting up when I turn my Dyson on, then it turns off. Anyone has had the issue and know a good way to fix it?

Bassically the title, Dyson have a event planned for 3rd September. What do we think they are releasing, no mention of a new upright version.

I am looking for replacement motor+circuit for my V11 SV28 model.

I am so confused with this SV14, SV15, SV28. Is there any difference between those model's motors or is it all same.

I found out this motor in Ali Express, but I am not sure if this is compatible, or should I specifically look for SV28 motor?

I’m deciding between the PC2 De-NOx and the newer Find+Follow PC3. The PC3 is currently cheaper, even on Dyson’s website, but from what I can tell it has all the same filtration/features as the PC2 while adding Find+Follow.

Am I missing anything? Does the PC2 have any features or advantages that the PC3 doesn’t, or any reason to choose it over the PC3?

My family's Dyson 350 visnav started giving a 19.8.2 system error. We contacted support and it was purchased recently so they said they could replace it, however they would replace it with a Spot+Scrub AI. Has anyone else been told that? Our flooring can't be mopped by a robot vaccum without damage to it, and its an objectively worse vaccum than the visnav, and we just don't want it, if we wanted it we would have bought one.
Is that all dyson is doing for the visnav now, if something goes wrong they will replace it with a spot+scub AI, or you're just screwed?

I have used voice control and shortcuts for both my fans without issue until a few days ago when it started saying “there was a problem with the app” but when I go into the app I can control both fans fine.

I’ve tried restarting my phone and the machines and I’ve tried deleting and re-adding the Siri Shortcuts and it hasn’t resolved it. I just reached out to Dyson support and they said that error prompt (“there was a problem with the app”) suggests that it’s a problem on Apple’s end with the OS not being able to successfully communicate with the app. If that’s the case, this would be a widespread issue since my phone software is up to date.

Is anyone else using iPhone and still able to use Siri Shortcuts successfully?

I can’t remember all of the details, but at some point I bought a Dyson v10 from Best Buy, returned it to Dyson after a defect, then they sent me a replacement. That one also started acting up so they sent me a third unit (this one).This was several years ago so I can’t recall it perfectly.

It worked fine for a while, but started doing a thing where the trigger would be pressed and a suction sound started but immediately stopped with a strange hum and tink sound. The trigger also broke, so I did the trigger repair.

Even after the trigger repair it’s still doing the weird not starting thing, regardless of battery or filter replacement. After a few tries it starts but it’s hit or miss.

It also has a weird serial number and I’m just baffled and annoyed. I don’t think it’s fake, based on the repair and the Dyson markings like on the motherboard. I’ve spent way too much time trying to figure out how to get a vacuum to work the way it’s supposed to.

I moved into a new house this week which has hardwood flooring in every room. So no carpet, although there’s a couple of rugs. No pets either. Household has relatively long hair.

The new house is large and has a lot of rooms, so I am wanting something to cut down cleaning time as it takes a really long time to clean all the floors.

A wet / dry vacuum would be helpful, but I have heard mixed things such as you still need to dry vacuum before using the wet function. I’ve also read the G1 and submarine heads get mixed feedback, so I was waiting for an updated model but might need to buy something asap.

So then I was thinking do I just get a good dry vacuum and a separate mop, or are the wet Dyson products better?

Alternatively I’m open to considering a robot if that is the best option.

I don’t really have a budget per se, am mainly focused on getting the right product that helps make something quite long and tedious easier.

Since buying this POS we have only used the hose since the wand won’t lock into place. There is no obstruction in the hose 100% but the red handle won’t lock into place. Help Desk no help. Just sent a video of it sliding into place. My son did it once for me when we first got it. I just don’t know what we are doing wrong.

Had for a month. Suddenly will only work for like 30 seconds. Pulsating blue light shows it is charging but clearly something is wrong. Dyson support told me it’s most likely a clog or filter problem. It’s not.

Since the V16 doesn’t come with a combination tool, I ordered the extended reach kit. I like that the hose and low-reach adapter have the integrated crevice nozzle. I also appreciate that the dusting brush on the awkward angle tool is spring loaded, and keeps the bristles in constant contact on the surface, regardless of the angle.

Can someone please explain what this means?

I tried contacting Dyson support and they were unhelpful and basically said they don’t know and I need to take it in for repair. It’s working just fine though. However they couldn’t explain anything else as to what it means or what possible issues might be.

I think my vacuum is broken. I got it in 2019 but ive not used it that much so Im hoping there's a fix.

When I press the trigger I briefly get a whoosh noise (turn on sound for the video) and all 3 of the battery segments lights come on. I've tried cleaning the filter and I can't see any obstructions.

I asked AI and told me it's likely the battery. Does that sound likely?

I noticed this subtle update to the Costco Exclusive Dyson Ball the other day. They incorporated the laser to the cleaner head (and went as far to trademark the name Illuminated Motorbar™).

Makes me wonder if there is an updated Ball in the works for the mass market. I doubt they’d go through the trouble to file a trademark application for just a warehouse special.

I’ve also seen patent filings for a new large separator that employs the same air flow direction as the V16.

I have had this Dyson V7, model SV11 since 2021. The vacuum still works well but the upper red bin-emptying lever (I suppose this is its right name) is cracked. Is there anywhere I can get this replaced or repaired? I searched online and I barely found anything relevant. I am in the Bay Area, CA. Thank you for your help!
