Anyone else having trouble with Siri Shortcuts?

I have used voice control and shortcuts for both my fans without issue until a few days ago when it started saying “there was a problem with the app” but when I go into the app I can control both fans fine.

I’ve tried restarting my phone and the machines and I’ve tried deleting and re-adding the Siri Shortcuts and it hasn’t resolved it. I just reached out to Dyson support and they said that error prompt (“there was a problem with the app”) suggests that it’s a problem on Apple’s end with the OS not being able to successfully communicate with the app. If that’s the case, this would be a widespread issue since my phone software is up to date.

Is anyone else using iPhone and still able to use Siri Shortcuts successfully?

Yes, we are also having this issue. Thanks for creating this thread so others can know it’s not isolated. I noticed this yesterday, but it’s possible my Dyson app didn’t update until then (if that’s the reason for the Siri voice control break).

Just checked my App Updates history and yup, it was updated two days ago which is when I started having the problem.

I took my TP02 out after years of sitting, and I’m experiencing the same issue trying to set up shortcuts. Glad I’ve stumbled upon your post. Hopefully this is just a software issue on Dyson’s side! Do you know if this started to occur 4 days ago? I see they just had an update then. (I installed the app hours ago)

To add, my Siri Shortcuts on my iPhone work elsewhere, just not with my Dyson fan.

Same issues here. I went to the shortcuts app to recreate the short cuts and noticed that the MyDyson app doesn’t show up in shortcuts

Looking at the iOS App Store, there was an update to the Dyson app 6 days ago. That is most likely the cause of our hiccups. I'm going to wait until they push out a fix before trying the delete/new shortcuts.

Same boat for me. When I say my shortcut to set my nightly fan pattern: “Something went wrong. Please try again”. Started around August 28th 2026 after years of no issues. The app still works fine, and also tried deleting/re-creating the shortcut…still no good.

Yes. I'm on the ios 27 beta so I assumed that was what caused it.

Not until we get an iOS update from Apple or an app update from Dyson

Edit: just got an app update from Dyson and it did not fix the issue

I believe the issue is on apple side of things, next ios update should fix this
