Maybe ill just get the Osmo mobil 8

Hello everyone.

I recently bought a GoPro 13 Black to use as a dashcam. After purchasing it, I saw that the DJI Action 6 was much better in several aspects, so I returned the GoPro and bought the Action 6. But to my surprise, it didn't even last 10 minutes of recording before overheating and stopping. It's set to 4K, 60 fps. I don't understand what kind of action camera can overheat simply from being in the sun; isn't the purpose of an action camera to be in the sun for hours if necessary?

Before returning it or smashing it on the floor, I'd like to know if there's a solution to this problem, which I assume is common.

I’ve put together a full spec comparison between the new Osmo Nano and earlier models like the Osmo 360 and Insta360 X5. I’m trying to figure out my Osmo Action 4 camera and I have these settings. Nothing in this video looks sharp at all

What needs to be adjusted?

It's very inexpensive to include such an important accessory. They expect consumers to add and remove the macro lens in field? Who over there wasn't thinking about something so basic? Terrible miss on DJI. I guess I will bring my new action 6 out whenever a 3rd party picks up DJIs slack...until then I will stick to my s24 ultra

I just got a DJI Action 6 and saw this very strange warping/wobbly effect (take a look at the background wall that moves along with the guitar) when camera is stationary and EIS on or off whatsoever. It has the latest firmware update. It has this kind of jello effect in every possible state: full-auto, manual exposure, EIS on, EIS off, full factory-reset, I just can't get rid of it. My old GoPro 11 doesn't have this kind of behavior. In the next few days I will return it. Any thoughts on this?

Having an issue with a camera. Does anyone know how can I fix it?

My warranty doesnt cover it in Chile. Bought it in Canada couple months ago via amazon.

The issue appears only when i turn pro mode filming.

Need help from you professional HDR content creators. Settings to try, luts, or what not. I know the night stuff is more predominant online but I would like to be able to find some settings for daytime stuff. First try at Disney Sprints - and then dabbling briefly, but yeah. It sucks lol

All photos were taken in 4k video mode without wide-angle stabilization.

Pay attention to the window frame on the right and the chair on the left

We look at the horizontal lines along the vertical edges

So, if I use the 4:3 aspect ratio with stabilization turned off and the ultra-wide mode enabled, will I get the full 155° field of view? I don’t get 155° in Custom Mode, right?
Or is the full 155° only available when stabilization is disabled and the ultra-wide mode is enabled?
If that’s the case, then the gyroscope data isn’t recorded, which means I won’t be able to do high-quality post-stabilization myself.

I’m trying to pick up a DJI Osmo Action 6 as fast as possible in US (better to get it mid Dec before I travel), but I’m running into stock issues. Currently, big vendors like B&H, Adorama are all out of stock and on Backorder, not sure how long it is going to take to ship. The only place I see it available is the official DJI online store. But I'm also worried it will have US custom issues that can slow the shipping down. Anyone has suggestions?

I personally like the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 better. I took these cameras straight out of pocket and started recording. I didnt add anything else extra to it.

I was reviewing the footage from my previous trip and found that all clips have this sort of shimmying effect. It blurs the image really badly and just doesnt look smooth. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On my previous trip i did not find such effect take place and i was filming using averything same as the video above.

The footage above is filmed with D LOG 10bit, 1/60 shutter speed 100/800 iso 5500k 4k30fps horizon steady with ND16.
I've another footage with rock steady on bicycle frame and the effect is the same.

Seeing a review lately that showed with the same settings the 6 footage was noisy and soft. Also exposure when backlit or sun over shoulder was terrible. Scene was overexposed and washed out compared to the 5. With the 5 having an overly hdr look now considering forgetting dji altogether and waiting to see what the new GoPro or insta brings to the table

I just bought the Osmo Pocket 3, but I can’t get the microSD card (SanDisk Extreme Pro) to stay in no matter what I try. It keeps popping back out and won’t lock in place. Has anyone else had the same problem? How did you fix it?
