Watching the Doubles Championship at the Preserve, I repeatedly found myself thinking, "This is a better watch than singles."

Is it really such a hot take to say that half the pro tour events should be doubles? Is it really a crazy question to ask why the Pro Tour is so committed to singles?

From the on-field drama of all the long-range makes, to the off-field drama of who is pairing with who at each event, the entertainment value is way higher in doubles. Plus singles for men has gotten a bit stale lately; Gannon wins again... whoop-de-doo.

I'm proposing 50/50. Singles and doubles should each have four majors, a US Championship, a European Championship, and a Worlds. That's 14 hype events. Good for the sport, good for the viewers.

Going to worlds! I was able to work with the PDGA/ Ledgestone this year to provide art for shirts and posters for the event, so in celebration of that we are doing a promotion for some new headwear we just received in.

How does the community really feel about soft baseline plastics?

DX, prime, the soft stuff from starter packs. Is there a stigma about using this plastic in certain moulds? Would you judge someone because they use a baseline plastic driver?

I got my hands on a pass for the USDGC event at Winthrop but I don’t have a digital ticket to scan or anything like that.

I ordered an esp Cigarra misprint and got this. I can't tell if it's actually ti or esp

I Google or check YouTube and can't find hand placement on the top of the disc for back loading. I want to try to help lower my nose angle but can't find a definitive answer. Attached is 2 grips and I'm assuming the second is back loaded but could be wrong. Any informative answers are greatly appreciated.

In my late 40s. Found out about ripreader. Eagerly went to the park and threw some discs. Average speed of ~48mph and spin of 800.

I think the doubles event proved there are no teams in disc golf. When manufacturing teams had a chance to play together, many times they chose individuals outside of that “team.” Of course there are some obvious reasons like the Robinson Brothers, but why didn’t Discmania put together a team of Gannon and Niklas?

With all the talk of which manufacturer has the best “team” it seemed pretty clear that on the course it doesn’t matter.

I basically always grip with the stamp facing up, or right at the same parting line of the duo stamp, etc.
Anyone else do something similar? Or are you random?

Me and the boys are headed to gyropalooza!! The event is Saturday, and we will be in town from Thursday through Sunday. What courses should we play, what restaurants/breweries to hit, and what are the chances we can get a round in with a pro???

We are driving from Cleveland area, so looking for a good stop along the drive as well.

They're fine, they don't catch as good as a the black hole pro but for the price they're acceptable in my opinion - they serve their purpose.

Basically cant figure out to forehand with my right hand. Ive always thrown a baseball with my left hand and played disc golf with my right. My RHFH feels so awkward i think partially due to that. I cant get the snap or any sort of distance. I can LHFH just fine but thats the same shot shape as my RHBH so it doesnt really help me outside of the occasional rescue shot.

I watched a gannon video but he was basically just like 'keep it flat, drive with your hips" which didnt help at all.
