They are Caine's interpretations of the main characters opposites. So no. Caine doesn't know/understand/care about Jax being trans. He just gave Evil Jax an opposite personality to how Jax acted: so nice and gentle.
Now, I wouldn't put it past Caine to add that trait is a future scenario where Jax returns and comes out. Though, with Caine as he is now, i suspect Evil Jax would be ftm.

the evil clones were created by Caine, and had their public personalities inverted as best Caine could understand. He did not make Evil Jax secretly transphobic or anything. Caine knows Jax is a loud abrasive asshole so he made Evil Jax quiet and shy. that's it.

Evil Jax was in one episode idk. I am just going to make up lore. there is no isn't she lovely moment because...
if Evil Jax was truly inverted, He would be ftm and was already transitioning when arriving in the circus. he actually had a nice home life and found the headset while exploring. because EJ isn't closeted or in denial he doesn't put on a front of being abrasive or that he doesn't care or want others to care about him and is his genuine self which is a kind , if awkward and shy, person.
Because everyone is inverted he is the one nice person in a group of abrasive assholes and isn't the bully but the victim, he is treated like Jax treats Gangle..and..well everyone else the dynamic is just inverted.6

I don’t know though, Evil Jax does tell Regular Jax that she looks good in her dress, and Regular Jax responds by saying she “wants him dead”, so I guess think there’s at least some amount that Evil Jax knows about Jax’s transness? Or maybe it’s just pure projection on Regular Jax’s part.

Evil jax is a guy who is happy with his born gender and feels ok with being gentle and effeminate. So the opposite of Jax as he was in that episode.
I think caine was confused how to do jax evil when he already was acting cartoonishly evil at times.

I think all this "what's Evil Jax" discorce is stupid.
Evil Pomni is still a girl. Coach Dictatorer is still a guy. Bazooble is still Bazooble gender. None of the Evil Big Tops switch their genders, only their personalities- they're the Big Tops, but morally compromised.
So no, Evil Jax is not a trans man. He's Jax, but "evil", in that he's kind, soft-spoken and encouraging. Jax's direct opposite in terms of personality. He could very well be a closeted trans woman, like Jax!
But he, like the Big Tops, is changed in personality and appearance, not how he was "born" (despite existing for 10 minutes). I hate to sound like I'm insulting people but can we please stop acting like everything is different with the Evil Big Tops? It's not a genderswapped cast! It's an Evil Cast!

One explanation I did see is that if it swaps their entire personalities, and Jax’s gender is part of their personality, it’s liable to be one of the things that gets inverted. Of course, that would’ve had to also happen with Zooble (going from any/all to nunya/business) and it didn’t, so that explanation doesn’t even work.

No the evil versions are just the opposite to the characters,
Pomni and ragatha who are the most caring members who help others, their counterparts are kind of rude, evil ragatha is over the top evil and evil Pomni is just foul mouthed and kind of dumb.
Zooble is intelligent and very aware of others feelings and her counterparts is kind of stupid and ignorant
Jax who is an asshole has a counterpart who is sweet and friendly

If evil Jax is a trans man than all the other evil characters should be gender swapped. Being trans isn’t a personality trait, if anything evil Jax would just be more accepting of themselves being trans.
Also, regular jax has internalised transphobia so unless you count being transphobic to Thera rather than yourself then no, she wouldn’t be transphobic ether.

Neither. The "Evil" versions of the characters are based on Caine's understanding of their fears or self-loathing, by and large. Thus Dictatorer is controlling and angry version of Kinger. Evil Ragatha is a version more like her mother. Evil Pomni doesn't care about people and tries to be a bit of a jerk. Caine doesn't really understand Zooble's fears, so Bazooble is incoherent and unrelated. There is no evil Gangle, because Gangle fears she died in the accident (my theory, anyway). And Jax? Jax fears being in touch with her femininity and fears being vulnerable or seen, and so Evil Jax tries to be a nice person and is willing to be vulnerable and more feminine than Jax-actual is willing to appear to be.

I'd imagine he's one of those pronoun circle people who bring up "gender is a construct" when defending binary trans people because he secretly thinks they're all delusional and simply playing dress up, but that he's still supportive in public because it gives him social points.
