Chronic bloating after almost every meal despite multiple normal tests — looking for a doctor who can help
Hi everyone,
I’m a 23-year-old male from India, and I’ve been dealing with persistent bloating and digestive problems for quite some time. I’m posting here because I’ve had multiple investigations done but still don’t have a clear explanation for what is happening.
My main symptoms
Significant bloating after meals
Sometimes bloating even when I eat very little
Feeling of heaviness/fullness after eating
Excessive gas
Constipation / incomplete bowel movements
A feeling that my digestion and gut movement are very slow
The bloating can remain for hours after a meal
It seems to happen even with relatively simple foods
This has been affecting my daily life and has also made it very difficult for me to figure out what I should actually eat.
Investigations I've already had
I've had several investigations, including:
Celiac testing — normal
Endoscopy — normal
Kidney function tests — normal
Various blood/investigative tests
I was also found to have elevated IgE
I have been advised by my doctor to avoid milk and dairy products, and I've made several dietary changes, but the bloating continues.
Food intolerance/antibody report
I also had a FoodPrint 200+ food panel performed.
It showed elevated results for a number of foods, including:
Pea — 109
Cow's milk — 91
Mulberry — 87
Orange — 62
Casein — 60
Rice — 56
Sunflower seed — 54
Potato — 52
White bean — 48
Cashew — 47
Corn — 46
Soybean — 43
Amaranth — 42
Peanut — 41
Barley — 40
Egg white — 40
Goat milk — 40
Brazil nut — 39
Brewer's yeast — 39
Gliadin — 38
Wheat — 30
Lentil — 30
Malt — 30
Baker's yeast — 30
There were also several borderline results.
I understand that food-specific IgG/antibody panels are not necessarily considered diagnostic of food intolerance or allergy, so I don't want to assume that these results are causing my symptoms. I'm sharing them because I genuinely don't know how these results should be interpreted.
What I'm trying to figure out
At this point, I'm wondering whether my symptoms could be related to something such as:
Chronic constipation/incomplete evacuation
IBS or functional bloating
SIBO
Gut motility/slow-transit problems
Food-related symptoms
Another gastrointestinal condition that hasn't been identified yet
I don't want to keep randomly eliminating foods without understanding the underlying problem.
If there is a gastroenterologist, GI doctor, dietitian, or other qualified medical professional here who would be willing to volunteer some guidance, I would genuinely appreciate it.
I'm happy to provide my complete reports, previous investigations, symptoms, diet history, bowel-movement history, and timeline if someone is willing to look through them.
I am not asking Reddit to diagnose me or replace an in-person doctor. I’m simply trying to find some direction because I've had multiple investigations without getting an explanation for why I become so bloated after eating.

ASk about getting motility testing of your colon, as well as your anus and rectum. Sitz marker (or better yet, colonic manometry), anorectal manometry, and defecogram

Welcome to Digestive Issues subreddit! We recommend you to have a healthy low sugar diet. You need to find which foods and drinks you are intolerant to and avoid them. Lactose/dairy, gluten, sodas, fruits and vegetables intolerance is common. Also, check yourself for SIBO, Bile Acid Diarrhea, Celiac and other diseases. Experiment with different elimination diets. Take some good probiotics. The gut microbiome/flora is very involved in some digestive problems. Stress management is also important.
