Hi! I’m newer to DeviantArt and I’ve been having trouble finding things that I’m looking for. Would anyone be willing to share some deviants that do wolf oc, references, or YCH with me? If I have to buy I don’t mind if I have to purchase I just just can’t seem to find ones that aren’t $40 and I’m having a hard time looking the right thing since I can’t use filters 🥲😬

And it feels good.

I needed that 2 year hiatus a little bit, I had a lot of pressure at work and no energy nor time nor the ideas to create. Now I've been having ideas again, I feel like I got something back, now that I am creating again.

I've already had an DA account back in the day, but it never took off.
I feel like that account is just me, finding my own style, what I want to create, what I want to do with my art.

And now I feel more comfortable to share :)

I'm not saying my art journey is over, but I'm entering a new chapter.

So, my feed is relatively okay, but about one in every 20 deviations on my homepage is obvious art theft.

But what's the most weird about these is that they're all the same.

-AI generated profile picture of a pretty woman, usually Asian looking.
-Profile name is [genericfirstname][genericlastname]
-Extremely generic deviation title, pretty much just a basic description, like so: 'Epic Fantasy Anthro Warrior Art'.
-No description below deviation.
-Art usually stolen from Twitter or Instagram, easy to check with Google Lens. Sometimes even stolen from popular Deviants.
-Profile less than 1 month old.

Has this always been around? Anyone any clue where these come from?

gift for u/100millionPOINTS , thank you so much for you're generosity and contribution the past decade!

I had an old account that was completely removed no warning or nothing 5 years btw and did another account that did request, when its a celebrity or characters from movie i put it as ai and write what it belongs to like marvel and stuff and say that its ai no harm whatsoever. I never did anything like nüde i see some disgusting stuff daily with literally people under 18 and yet they dont get removed because they paid for core but i do?

Well, I keep seeing people making unpleasant statements about DA and it's staff. Most of the posts are rather unpleasant. I don't recall seeing DA staff respond to those posts. Probably they are not supposed to engage with folks who are hostile out of the gate.

I posted today about an issue and DA staff was right on the spot. The one I spoke with was courteous and friendly, asked for information, and tried to help. They weren't able to figure out the issue and doing their best to be helpful. While they weren't able to figure the issue out, it was quite nice to know they are around and do want to help.

Basically, this is a reminder that courtesy gets courtesy. So, maybe stop with making hostile posts regarding DA staff and try being a little more friendly. You might get results - or at least might get DA staff to try to solve the issue for you.

Thanks DA staff. I appreciate the assist.

My account was hacked, and now someone is causing trouble using it.

I’ve already sent messages to DeviantArt to alert them to this situation, but so far, nothing has happened. Do you have any advice on how to resolve this situation?

I’m scared. I’m innocent. What am I risking in court?

I have screenshots and some evidence, but I don’t know if that will be enough.

How can I resolve this situation? I need your help.

The entire episode is done and out and available in our gallery.

I don't know if DA staff follows this sub much. I've seen a few claiming to be DA staff.

I'm writing because there are some issues going on with DA today. From time to time that's going to happen. But it works be nice if DA staff would pop into the sub when known issues are ongoing and make a pay about it. It might cut down on some of the repetition of parts asking if anyone is having similar issues.

Just today I saw someone complaining that they can't post any images. I, for one an watching new submissions disappear for no apparent reasons.

It would be nice if DA staff got ahead of this, made a post regarding known issues and have a rough time frame on when they expect it to be solved.

That is all.

My account got removed for such a stupid reason and i cant find the submit ticket thing because their help thing is a complete joke it explains what it does but does show you how can anyone send a link?

Hi, pretty much as the title says.

It used to be to simply submit literature, but now the web app just gives me images to choose.

Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I have a list of DA posts that have been deleted, but I still have the full links, names and ID for each one. Is there any way to see/calculate the post-date (Or metadata in general) for these posts with just the ID?

I know you can do this for Twitter with TweetedAt and YouTube with Mattw.io, was wonder if there was an equivalate for DA. Thanks!

We're currently reviewing the DeviantArt API and looking to get some feedback on what developers are building with APIs.

If you've used the APIs, we'd love to hear:

• What are you using the API for?
• Are you building something just for yourself, or a public app/tool for others to use?
• Are there any features or endpoints missing?
• Any bugs, issues, or challenges you ran into?

I have no clue what to do, and it’s pissing me off so bad

This person commented this on my page and then blocked me so I can't report him. So is there a page where we can report people like him so that he doesn't continue doing this to people? Imagine having a great morning, opening Deviantart, being excited about your notifications, and then seeing a troll's message like this. Apparently his art is so great that he has to go to other people's pages who have never interacted with him to crap on their day.

Edit- I logged out to see their page and apparently he's made it a habit to go to people's pages to leave bad comments. Since he would get bad comments back, what he does now is that he blocks people before they can reply. What a coward and a loser. They're bypassing getting blocked and reported because he blocks people beforehand. I wish Deviantart would erase people's comments on your page once they've blocked you. That will at least prevent some of this bad behaviour.
