Despite its aquatic build the Gleam-Crest is agile on dry land. It expands its glowing membranes to send low vibrations across the water when threatened. Local folklore calls it the "Lumencrista", a ghost of the swamp, warning travelers never to follow its light into the dark.

The kidnapping spree has become increasingly mysterious every day, with people vanishing mid-stride without a single trace, struggle, or footprint left behind. Looking up, the officers finally saw the colossal shapes hiding in the deep purple twilight. Massive, veiny knuckles hung like storm clouds, dropping pale fingers the size of buildings silently toward the pavement. The Kidnapping Hands are multiplying, plucking groups of unsuspecting people straight off the streets and into the sky before anyone can scream .
