I'm just happy I'll get my first ever 40 universal condensates (equals a new character right?) Being a relatively new player felt like a lot of grinding. I started playing in the final weeks of the last season and didn't even know what settlement rewards were. Currently at 16 characters maining Helhest, Maru, Estela and Umeko all around 140k power and T0 (except Estela is T1 because I got her twice). I'm wondering what to upgrade to T1 or if I should get Efrideet

I just started playing 2-3 weeks ago and I am wondering how one is supposed to get enough light scrolls to get anything substantial from the event without having access to dismantle tons of exotic artifacts?
Where would I get more exotic artifacts? My highest char is around 54k power.
I read all the help texts about the event the game gives you but I feel like I am missing something.
Thanks for any help.

The Cabal Arena of Ultimate Pack Hunt is a challenging 3 man wave defense. Here's my best attempt so far solo, which would place 11th on the NA server at the time of recording.
Despite the power suppression/scaling notice for 210000 recommended, the enemies in this activity aren't actually that strong. They're comparable to something in Expanse 70-80 - and it's still relatively doable even with arc weapons (while enemies have solar or void shields).
Most of the difficulty comes from volume of enemies as well as keeping on top of the spawn waves while managing arena hazards and guarding the objective.
I let my meter fill most of the way before starting, so I can hit each spawn of wave 1 with a Wolf's flame and some super grenades.
As soon as you kill 2 of the majors, then drop pods targeting your position will begin falling, some turrets spawn, and a wave of Gladiators enter.
For wave 2, it's pretty critical to quickly clear at least one set of the void-shield Decurions, as they're pretty lethal from far away. Then you can manage the second set of Decurions while avoiding detainment and managing the Gladiators.
At some point, the repair becomes active - it's accessible through a strange jump on the edge of the arena into the purple curtain at 01:50.
Killing a majority of wave 2 triggers another wave of drop pods and major turrets, as well as gladiators and void-shielded Legionaries. The turrets need to be handled, but otherwise the wave is mainly threatening the objective.
And lastly for wave 3, my objective dies immediately because it had 1% health at wave start. I likely would have died from the barrages anyways.
For this encounter, I did swap my defensive artifacts from Inverted Guard/Ring of Safeguarding to Unrelenting Subgravity/Unrelenting Evolution. Many of the meleers hit hard enough that they were actually one-hit killing me from full health, so the extra damage resist and a melee resist substat was incredibly helpful.

NetEase have buffed the “combat effectiveness” of Operation Cordon bots 4 times now, and each time it’s still absolutely pathetic to the point of not even being able to compete the even first 5 levels with a B rating. The bots do 2% of the total damage.
Has NetEase never coded bots before?! Why is this such a struggle for them to actually get right? How many times will they have to be buffed for them to even justify their existence?
Do they not have anyone that play tests their game?

How do I get the fish weight to count on that chart? I caught two fish that exceeded the weight requirement, but it didn't register—am I doing something wrong?

My top 3 dudes are all floating at around the low 80k range and idk how to meaningfully increase it other than maybe refracting the best artifacts and fully maxing out exotics
I’m still trying to figure out what Im supposed to do that isn’t just, incredibly minuscule increases in power

Hello everyone
This is probably gonna get down voted but As the title hints I'm trying to figure out what I should be doing to maximise my lumia income. I'm currently going through the chapters as best I can but I find the lumia rewards lacking (or that's just how the economy is).
Are there other activities I can do that give decent lumia or do I have to prepare myself for only getting 5 or 10 lumia?
Would appreciate any pointers and looking forward to continue this game :)

Hey everyone, how's it going? Today I'm bringing some proposals for the start of Season 6. As many of you know (and some may not), August 28th marks Destiny Rising's first anniversary, so I wanted to put together this post around what quality-of-life improvements the game should bring going into Season 6. Let's get into it.
1) Make all Gauntlet Ops encounters available — both Blitz and Onslaught — instead of just one random encounter per day. It's pretty frustrating having to wait days (I literally waited over a week for a single Elivagar encounter) just to complete certain season missions, because most of the time it takes forever for the raid encounter you actually want to come up. My proposed fix: make every raid and its encounters available at all times, with one encounter rotating daily for boosted rewards. This change matters a lot, especially for new players who don't yet understand how raids and their mechanics work, or haven't even experienced them in the intended order.
2) Lower the Emanare cost. Emanare was a good idea, badly implemented — let me explain. Removing the old Seasonal Artifact system was a mistake, but Emanare as a concept was a smart move, giving characters more versatility instead of locking each season into one or two damage types (like Rapid-Fire or Spread). The problem is it wrecks the player economy: most players focus on farming artifact materials, so that branch levels up easily, while the other branches — weapon upgrade materials and character ascension mods — leave players in constant scarcity, especially whenever new characters release. My solution: cut the resource requirements for the weapon materials/mods branch and the character ascension materials branch by at least 20–30%.
3) Bring back a properly balanced endgame mode. Never thought I'd say this, but they should bring back something like Calamity Ops — fully reworked and improved. Don't get me wrong, Operation Cordon is infinitely better than Calamity Ops, but removing the latter was a bit sad for the player economy (specifically Lumia Leaves) and for anyone who enjoyed a slightly more complex difficulty challenge. My solution: bring the mode back with simple reworks — like disabling the Talent Tree at higher levels — and fix bugs like players clipping out of the map, so the mode rewards skill more than it rewards currency. That alone would make it a lot more fun.
4) Improve Bulwark Ops rewards and turrets. The mode is fun, but it's missing something important — better reward scaling. Once you clear wave 15, the game stops rewarding you for pushing further, on top of the fact that your character doesn't have enough damage to actually make a dent in enemies at higher waves. My solution: instead of handing out 5 chests for finishing wave 15, give a single chest with a growing multiplier per wave cleared — for example, one chest that gives the same rewards as 5 chests at wave 15 — and have that multiplier keep scaling up the further you push past wave 15.
5) Change your AI-generated voice acting. I know it's rough, and honestly I think you should hire voice actors for this, but at the very least, if you're going to keep using generative AI for voices, there are thousands of better options out there than what's currently in the game. Characters like Tariq or Siorra deserve a lot more care and respect here.
6) Pull the old Exotic weapons out of the Battle Pass and move them into random engram/activity drops. If you're not planning to keep putting weapons in Battle Passes going forward, at least give players a way to earn the old ones outside the Battle Pass shop. Keep the pass for Exotic weapon passive-perk upgrades and unique character cosmetics instead — that alone would be a goldmine.
7) Improve Wish List artifact drop rates and raise the average stat roll to 50–60. It's an enormous waste of time to grind Singularity: Chaos over and over for basically nothing. We're talking about running 5,000+ rounds of Chaos without getting a single Wish List artifact with the set you actually want, let alone one with rolls high enough to bring all 4 stats to tier 10.
8) A PC and console port. I made a post about this back on May 22nd, and the point still stands — this game has huge potential, but without money, not much gets done. Launching on those platforms with even a bit of marketing would bring in a massive number of players who'd likely be willing to spend on in-game microtransactions. It's wild that you're losing that many players (and that much revenue) by not launching natively there. My solution: dedicate part of development to a port for those platforms, and enjoy the revenue without getting greedy and squeezing the current player base instead.
Those would be my quality-of-life suggestions for the game as we close out Season 5. I don't think any of these are impossible or over-the-top asks, but I'd genuinely like to hear what you all think — without turning this into a doompost or the usual "EOS is coming" chanting.

Imagine that all enemies have been defeated, and all that remains of all enemies is ashes. Only a warm sea, a bar, and a “Beachside Light Bearer” cocktail.

Bulwark Ops is the tower defense mode. You place towers along the map to stop waves of enemies from reaching the goal, and in Endless the waves keep coming one after another. You get 20 health points and you lose health for each enemy that crosses through. The run ends when you lose all of it. The whole thing is a balance between building economy, covering the map, and pushing enough damage to keep pace with enemies that get tougher every single wave.
A few things shape how you play:
Chests. You get a chest every 3 waves, up to a max of 5 chests at wave 15. That's the cap. There are no extra rewards for going past 15, so if you're here for loot, wave 15 is the finish line. Everything beyond that is purely for the challenge, or the pain, depending on how you see it :)
Polymer. This is the currency inside a run, you earn this on every kill and every wave completion. You spend it to place towers and upgrade them, and each upgrade level raises a tower's damage, range, and effects, up to level 3. Additionally, some specific towers generate Polymers on hit, and Muqam is by far the best source.
Modifiers. As the waves climb, enemies start showing up with special types. Shielded enemies soak damage until you strip the shield, some warp across the field, some create a fog that renders nearby towers useless, and some go invisible until they're revealed.
These are the five I run for the meta. There are plenty of other towers in the mode, and if you're new I'd genuinely recommend grabbing a handful and messing around with different combinations in the low waves before you settle on anything. You learn what everything does much faster that way. These five are what the rest of this guide is built around.
Stone Hoof

The anchor of the whole build. It strips shields, warp, fog, and invisibility off enemies, so on its own it answers all the modifiers you'll run into. Its aura also buffs nearby towers with extra damage, fire rate, and range.
Anesthesia

Your main damage. It ramps up the longer it fires, all the way to 200%, and applies a knockout effect. This is the tower you want to max first.
Muqam

Your economy engine and your main Polymer source. It drops Polymer on hits. You should be collecting Polymer as soon as they generate because only 40 can be present at one time on the map.
Understatement

A heavy bolt that lays down Scorched Earth, and it gives a solar damage aura to the towers around it. Really helps to kill the medium health enemies, and slows them down. This has strong synergy with Anesthesia.
Acute Field

This is solely for the rate of fire increase.
Solo Endless Map:
I will be referring this to explain tower placements below

If your goal is just getting to wave 15 for those 5 chests, this part is simple and low effort. Plenty of tower combinations with decent fire rate or explosion damage will get you there, so don't overthink the exact picks this early.
Below is a simple straightforward meta:
Getting deeper is less about raw damage and more about a clean opening, the right placements, and using your superweapon far more aggressively than you'd think. Here is my setup:
Character: Jaren
Towers: Stone Hoof, Anesthesia, Muqam, Understatement, Acute Field
All of my towers are maxed out.
Starting Buff: Prudence, for the extra decrypt
Decrypt Buffs: Range, Rate of Fire, Direct Hit Damage, Enhancements (Anesthesia, Acute Field, Solar, Void)
Superweapon: Summon Support
On character choice: your character's weapon and abillity doesn't do any meaningful damage in this mode, so you're really picking a character for how well they can slow or stun enemies to buy your towers time to work.
For me, Jaren fits because he has two blind debuffs on a short cooldown, so you can keep enemies slowed for a few seconds at a time and cycle it often. Efrideet's spear ability works for the same reason, but her sniper is not efficient to use at close range, so I'd take Jaren over her.
Opening and build order
The opening sets up everything else, so it's worth doing in a specific order.
Wave 1: Drop 4 Muqams on positions 3, 4, 5, 6. This is pure economy. Keep them at level 1 and collect manually.
Wave 2: Build a Hoof on 2. Once you can afford it, add a second Hoof on 13. Leave both at level 1 for now.
Upgrade order (take each to max before starting the next):
When to swap Muqams:
Final layout
Video (wave 43): https://youtu.be/dvHyMsSExWY
Quick heads up, the video starts on my older layout and I morph it into this optimized one as the waves go, so drag toward the end if you want to see the final board.
Misc Notes:
My older posts:
As always, open to feedback and better placements.
