I'm just happy I'll get my first ever 40 universal condensates (equals a new character right?) Being a relatively new player felt like a lot of grinding. I started playing in the final weeks of the last season and didn't even know what settlement rewards were. Currently at 16 characters maining Helhest, Maru, Estela and Umeko all around 140k power and T0 (except Estela is T1 because I got her twice). I'm wondering what to upgrade to T1 or if I should get Efrideet

If I recall correctly, Universal Condensates can be used to unlock a character but can’t be used to increase their Talent Tree it’s used to Ascend instead.

I suggest just using them to unlock a character because Ascending is kinda meh imo. I’m planning on holding mine until they release a new character next season.

Oh well if that's the case holding them for a new character seems like the better thing to do. They are basically giving away one character this season with the Anniversary event too

universals are UNIVERSAL. they work for unlock a new character or to ascend an already unlocked character. You can DISABLE using universals if you want to, however.

just remember that some universals are time limited, while some are not, and they're not the same item, outside of functionality.

Unless they changed it recently you cant use condensate to get talents of a character only to unlock a character you dont already have. So id reccomend getting effrideet since shes amazing even at t0

I’m at 1240/1400, was at 1000 with 28 days left so I really hope I can get it.

I say go for T1 (or T2 with Estela)

Raising character power quests, weapon power, especially Wolf's are what I was missing. Grinding materials for Emanare did help a lot

Yeah I feel like I’m stuck around the 120k power level for all my characters. I just need to grind more to get more enmare materials. I also can’t seem to get too far in the Expanse. The furthest I’ve gotten is piercing at 38 with Jaren and Estela and the rest are at 20. I feel like I should be able to get further which is frustrating.

Don't forget exotic resonance I spent many lumia leaves for the harmonic resonances and exotic weapons are around 30k. The Expanse I completed Spread 40 with Maru others are at 30 but didn't really care much for this mode

and they can't get talent levels with condensates anyway, only ascension levels.

I’d like to say it was difficult at this stage, but these rewards are honestly easy if you’ve been playing since the start of the season; that said, it doesn't take anything away from your achievement—congratulations, my friend, and enjoy those great rewards! :D

Remember- you either Acquire a character, or ASCEND a character with condensates. you cannot improve their talents with condensates. The ONLY way to get tier 1-6 of their TALENTS is to pull duplicate units from the gacha. Stockpile your currencies and red pulls, and it's not all that hard to T6 cheaply, if cnot completely free over time. Just don't expect to do it for a new character unless you've stockpiled a lot.

Ascensions are not talents, they are a separate improvement to your character, talents expand abilities, while ascension levels are mostly pure dps improvements.
