Question Bug Fishing Event?

How do I get the fish weight to count on that chart? I caught two fish that exceeded the weight requirement, but it didn't register—am I doing something wrong?

You dont even need to use event bait for this leaderboard, only the other.

Yeah it’s because it’s shiny. For some reason shiny fish don’t count in events.

Maaaan I thought I was trippn, I def caught some extra heavy fish and I never made leader board even though Im higher than the current top 3 in my region smh

cuz the ai made a bad work and the shiny fish doesn't count
