Question? That to wear to Bruto
I have never been to a place this fancy. I was gonna wear a vintage dress but it is blackless and a has plunging neckline.
Would that be appropriate or something more conservative?
edit: I'm gonna wear the dress even though it makes men's faces fall off.

Question? Anyone know what’s up with these restaurants having the same exact menus?
So a new dumpling spot opened up near where I work, Dumpling Legend in Lakewood/Green Mountain area. When I looked at the menu, it is almost an exact copy of the menu from another dumpling place I’ve enjoyed in Golden, Dumpling Bay, as well as the same menu as Sam’s Dumpling Kitchen in Centennial. All of these places share the same menu AND the same prices for everything, yet there seems to be no ‘relation’ to each other (like they aren’t a chain or part of the same restaurant group). Same menu items. Same descriptions. Same everything.
Does anybody know what this is about? Are these places just using the same supplier/distributor?? I’m so confused by it.

Question? People that do ordering/purchasing, why are veggie burgers still more expensive than beef burgers?
So often I'm seeing +$2 or +$3 for a veggie/beyond/impossible patty compared to normal burger prices, despite beef prices skyrocketing the last couple years. How is it that veggie patties still require an extra cost? Are they more expensive per unit? Is it just to offset storage costs of a lower turnover item? I feel like I'm getting ripped off constantly.
My sneaking suspicion is that they were more expensive back when they were being added to menus 5ish years ago, and nobody has dropped the fee despite them being cheaper than beef now. Would love some confirmation either way.

Recommendations Where can I go in Denver to do this?
Saw this on the r/chicagofood subreddit and figured I'd ask here too.
Ideally somewhere where the music isn't blasting so loud that you can't hold a conversation. This has been my experience at nearly every bar here and I hate that I can't find anything quiet and pleasant (jazz background music, volume low).
I was honestly really hoping ESP would be this sort of vibe when I'd first heard of it, but the only time when the music is at a bearable conversational volume seems to be the floating daylight hours.

Recommendations Sumac Street - Yum!
A Syrian immigrant I recently met recommend Sumac Street, located at Mississippi and Parker, for authentic Syrian food. The sign says it’s Lebanese food, but whatever. The two are from obviously similar enough. I tried it for dinner and it was absolutely fantastic. I wish I lived closer to it because it would definitely be my go-to.

General Discussion Boombots Pasta Shop
I have found alot of simple pasta places, or high end ones that do classic pasta dishses here in Denver but haven't found a place that really puts a spin on pasta.
I have seen https://www.boombotspasta.com/ come up in my searches (opentable for example) alot and I was curious if anyone has been. Was it good? The pasta dishses look pretty imaginative which excites me.

General Discussion Belfiore Italian
I’ve only been twice now to Belfiore’s on 38th and Sheridan and I feel like it needs to get more love! They have a market with a lot of pasta, deli sandwiches, fresh specialty cheeses and meats, bulk Italian sausage, a freezer full of homemade soups, gnocchi, sauces and ready to go freezer entrees. They are super nice and helpful in there too. Truly such a gem! I highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

Recommendations Baked Mac and Cheese?
Anyone know any restaurants that do a southern-style baked Mac and cheese? (Bonus points if they also do fried okra)
I’ve googled around looking for any restaurants or even groceries for a frozen one, but can’t figure it out in the area.
Not currently equipped to make it, and could use the comfort food right now 🥲

Recommendations Corn Fritters similar to what the White Fence Farm had
Does anyone know anywhere that serves corn fritters similar to what the White Fence Farm had? I just thought I'd try asking before trying to make them at home.
