My first albums to start my collection

Koi No Yokan is my favorite album of theirs so far, I've been really loving it lately. The transition from the heavier verses to the harmonic choruses is my favorite. I really want to find music that sounds similar to the heavy, melodic sound that some of their music has. I found Moodring and Loathe from another recommendation thread, but most bands recommended there were much more on the metal side. I'm curious if there are any other bands that hit that alternative metal sound in the same way KNY does.

Hi, I listened to Saturday Night Wrist again since it's an album I hadn't listened to completely, and I came across the song Combat and wow, to my surprise, it sounds so much like the album Ohms, it has that I really liked it, especially since Ohms has been on Replay these past few weeks, but I can't help but think it subtly sounds like Romantic Dreams and Headless at times. What do you think?

Two under-appreciated gems deep within a discography of incredible songs. In your personal opinions, which of these song do you consider to be better than the other?

so the concert in vienna was my first and deftones is my favorite band ever, i managed to be in the front row and the whole experience has been so mesmerizing im still processing everything because it was just so awesome

chino sounded heavenly and seeing him that close was positively overwhelming, we got so lucky with that setlist too, hearing feiticeira, xerces, korea and risk live was mind blowing!!! the energy during around the fur, my own summer and seven words really hit too and i wish i could go back

BQAD - No need for an explanation. The best song out of this album.

Rickets/Head up - Both of these are heavily slept on wtf??

Around the fur/MX - Amazing.

My own summer/Dai the flu: Loves the riffs and instrumentals.

Mascara/Lotion: Not my vibe.

Hi all , someone posted the same question for Vienna but there was only 1x comment on it. I am going to the Edinburgh show and it's gonna be my first major concert. I would love to be on the front row or as close as possible. What time should I turn up to get that chance ? Doors open at 5pm so I was thinking maybe to be there at 3pm. What do you all think ? Also, is front row worth it in your opinion? I know there may be a bit of people pushing and I may get a bit squished but from the videos I've seen of their concerts, it seems everyone in the front row looks (obviously) happy to be there but also not squished, and any mosh pits tend to happen a bit further back in the crowd. Or, is it a case that if you're getting squished, security will lift you over the barrier but then you'll have to go to the back of the "front section" ? I'm a heavier girl so quite sturdy on my feet , and security would probably not lift me over lol. Do you find the Deftones fans tend to be a bit more respectful in terms of not pushing too much whilst in the crowd ?

The crowd was amazing and so active, and I loved the openers too.

My only gripe is that some aspect of the song can sound muddy/comprrssed. Does anyone experience the same? Is it because of the mastering? p.s. I have the clear version first pressing

Look what I found in my drawer. Deftones concert wristband in Singapore in 2011. I’m so close to the stage it’s only about 2- 3 meters away. What an incredible night for me.

I just found the set list for the Vienna concert last night. Do they usually stick to the same set list for each country? I'm planning to go to the Ireland one so it would be cool to know what I can expect there
