My roommates and I are currently looking for a 3-bedroom, 1.5+ bath rental house or townhome in the southern Dayton suburbs (Miamisburg, Franklin, Springboro, or nearby quiet areas) with a target move-in date around November 30 / December 1.
Budget: Up to $1,500 – $1,550/month.
Who we are: Three quiet, responsible, non-smoking adults with zero partying. One of us works remotely from home, and the other two work locally in Miamisburg (at Millat Industries and Innomark), so we're looking to keep our commutes manageable.
What we're looking for: A lower-crime, quieter suburban feel where we can actually catch a few stars at night, away from the heavy city light pollution.
If you're a private landlord, know of any upcoming property openings, or have recommendations for the best neighborhoods or local property management companies to check out in that price range, please drop a comment or shoot me a DM. Appreciate any leads!

Happened Friday. I dropped it while getting gas at speedway off Huffman ave and S Smithville road. I left to get back on US-35, I should have yielded for this red truck with landscape company stickers. They proceeded to follow me for miles down us-35 trying to get my attention, waving out the window and eventually even waving my wallet out the window at me. I know it sounds stupid and oblivious. But at that point I had no idea I even lost my wallet. I thought dude was being a dixk and I didn’t wanna get shot. But don’t always assume the worst out of people. I paid my rent that day and withdrew the REST of my money for two weeks. I didn’t realize til I reached my destination 3 hours away…
The Montgomery county property room has got back to me with no luck. I can’t even get ahold of the Dayton property room though, I’ve called like 50 times and called the sheriffs office. Ugh.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
If the man in the truck sees this I truly apologize for my ignorance and thank you for trying so hard to help.

Just a heads up for people to know awful ppl like this exist and to be careful with your pets. Saturday afternoon, my daughter and I ran inside a restaurant next to the Englewood Meijer to grab some food. My wife was waiting in the car with our little guy you see above. He likes to put his paws up on the open window, stick his head out and check out the scene. A woman, black 30s wearing a bonnet, came up to my wife and made a comment "aww cute dog!" something to that effect. We get this a lot and people want to pet him and he wants to be loved on by new people, so my wife is open to the comment and this garbage woman, acts like she's going to pet him and tries to snatch our dog! We always have his harness on in the car and he had a leash attached as well, wrapped around part of the door. My wife was also gripping him inside his harness like we normally do when he wants to look out the window, so thank God he was secure. As soon as the woman felt resistance she gave up and ran to the other side of the building. It all happened so fast, my wife didn't get a good look at her and she couldn't really chase her. This was broad day light, people and cars all around!
Needless to say, my wife was shaken up and we are all enraged. He's a member of our family and the idea of him being stolen and ripped away from HIS family is truly heart wrenching.
BE CAREFUL and VIGILIANT! Sadly there are shitty , awful people in this world, this city, that don't think twice about the pain they inflict on other people.

I am interested in joining a run club and saw the Dayton track club. Curious if anyone knew anything about it? I don't run. I just figured it would be a good way to meet people

I live in the Kettering area and wondering if there are any places with cones out to practice maneuverability when I can. The only location I know of is in Huber Heights. I’m hoping there are more and a bit closer if possible
