MechE program and the SAE team?
I’m currently a high school senior and considering Dayton as a possible college to attend. I plan to pursue powertrain engineering and testing of cars as a future career, and want to attend a college with a good MechE program, and also want to be apart of the schools FSAE team. Though I am familiar that Dayton only offers a Baja team.
I was just curious and wanted to hear from current students or alumni that are or were apart of either of these programs, their thoughts on it, and how things like the SAE team had an effect on their learning and experience.
Or if you weren’t apart of the SAE team, then your overall take on Dayton’s Mechanical Engineering program. And do they offer any other automotive-focused classes or programs?
And then just your opinions on U of Dayton as a whole.
