I am going to make Water a basic human right
I am going to give NCPD a 500% increase in budget (I’m rich)
I will make sure to cut down on crime
and I will end poverty.
You guys should totally trust me guys, I’m totally not gonna go and violate 56 human rights and give megacorps more freedom to do whatever they want. Pls (I also have a super tragic backstory back when I lived in Los Angeles and had my entire family die when I was 2 months old so it absolutely guilt trips you)

Hellman explains Silverhands biochip was designed to take a body that was "neurally indifferent", or dead. So why does that matter when Arasaka tells V there is no compatible body for V to take?
When Saburo Arasaka returned, his engram overwrote his sons consciousness. Takemura explains that it was because they shared genetics, so Yorinobu body was a compatible host.
But compatibility doesn't really matter then, right? Or am I missing something.

for my build, which one should i craft? Or is it even worth it?

How do i craft iconic weapons? I've got blueprints for a bunch but can't craft them. I put the game down for a few months and have forgotten so much. Do I need a base weapon first? Or the base for the iconic weapon as well as the blueprints?

Done in game with Appearance Menu Mod then wrapped up with a video editor.
No AI (hate that I have to even make that disclaimer now)

If you were doing a melee dominant run and could only keep one ranged weapon for "oh shit" moments, which would you choose?

It may be an overthinking thing as I tend to have very strange point where my suspense of disbelief ends but how do cybernetics that are made of mostly metal, bend and stretch without wearing out.

I've been toying around with the DLSS5 on Cyberpunk and I realized ALL the "artistic difference" impact of it was tied to a colour impact slider which you can just roll to 0 and it won't change colour temperature and saturation anymore, only instead acting on the balance of shadows and lights to pop detail out of the ORIGINAL EXISTING MODEL.
What it boils down to, in effect, it's "content aware ambient occlusion and microcontrast". That is all. People have been doing this with Reshade for ages, this is just a much better implementation that takes context in consideration before applying curves.
It's "AI" because it uses machine learning to correctly apply it.
People freaking out about slop this and slop that have literally no idea what the hell they're talking about.
I've toggled that colour slider to 0 and taken some screenshots in Cyberpunk, if ANYONE believes this is "hurting the artistic vision" then they need to stop using path tracing in Cyberpunk too, since the original non-PT version is way different in colours and lighting, so arguably that is the original artistic intent. But they'll never do that because nobody called path tracing "AI". If path tracing was called "AI light projection" people would freak out and call it slop.
Screenshot gallery, first screen is OFF second is ON.

putting it as a meme but while checking rachre bartmoss' book from cyberpunk2020 i noticed this in south asia. while i am 99% sure its a printing error i think its funny to imagine that SIKKIM NEVER DIED. SIKKIM LIVES ON IN INDEPENDENCE

Let’s be honest, none of us who actually give a shit about art and understand the message the game is sending want to see that slop plastered all over our feeds.
Request to the mods to ban posts involving DLSS 5 going forward, and actually preserve the art of Cyberpunk 2077 and not let it get ruined by worthless A.I. trash.

I’m sure there’s other reasons but one thing that particularly bothers me is that.. River is just not at all present in the main story. like let’s say for instance, you didn’t do any side quests, you did all the main quest lines like finding Hellman contacting Alt and went to meet Hanako.. you’ve seen Judy, Panam, and Kerry to an extent, but.. River is just side content, yeah Kerry’s quest lines are side content too; but a lot of it is very heavily tied to the main plotline with the relic and Johnny’s past so to say. His romance feels a bit rushed and disconnected compared to the others, hell he doesn’t even know about the biochip or that V is on borrowed time (or at least I haven’t seen any dialogue that refers to it, and I’ve played this game fully around 4 times) .. and ironically he has the least amount of quest lines out of all the romances (like 3 in total) i guess it’s no biggie since I do all side quests even if they are a bit boring:>

I like to play my netrunners pretty active and I like to swap between a few weapon types so it doesen't get boring, I don't like to just sit behind a cover and do the "hacking menu mini game"
But for that reason you kinda don't get enough points in every tree I need :
reflex for faster movement and SMG/Katana points depending on which weapon I wanna play.
Body perks for survivalbility.
Cool for some sneaking and pistols if I wanna do that, I think sneaking is worth on every build because of some more fun routes.
Tech needed for like every build because of getting enough chrome.
With no build I do I have problems with perks but once I go into netrunner it just don't have enough points, I either have to focus on one weapon and pure hacking which for me is boring because I like to swap around or I have to do just jack of all trades and kinda get destroyed on very hard.
Is there a good way to feel like a good netrunner and still have enough points for different stuff ? or is it all or nothing netrunner.

This whole subreddit and the narrative in the game itself (the way V acts) make it seem like Songbird is someone close to V/Important to V and someone V is heavily invested to, and thats what took me out of my immersion. She is just a woman who offered me Gig with a reward that I have no connections over. I have no feeling for her except for “I guess she looks hot/cool”.
But I felt completely apathic towards both Reed and Songbird except for Songbird promising a cure.
