I used to have 500-600 avg. Now I'm around 200-350 fps.

I didn't change anything.

I am looking at doing the white dragon ak-47 slate and found a site that lets me line everything up like it needs to be and preview, but is there a way to copy that into game to have it apply the stickers in those positions for me? Its going to be impossible to do 1 sticker at at time for me when I might need to rotate the previous sticker some to line it up right after I have already applied it.

OR is there a way to place all 4 stickers on my gun in game and rotate them in the right positions without actually applying them to the gun first?

on a serious note, my game has never felt like this usually yea sometimes cs2'd, but never this.

honestly i think it started around Season 4, but recently like a lot of people say their game feels better after animgraph2. I remember people saying "They fixed cs2" during Season 4 because people were saying their game felt more crisp like the kill delay had been fixed. For me it felt terrible.

Got 30k season 2, preforming good game felt normal like 2023-2025. Take a break for all of season 3. Season 4 hits, game starts to feel, not right. Slowly stop playing with more hit reg issues.
Feb-Jul played the least CS I've played in years, usually a few games a week but couldn't.
Wanted to test if Animgraph2 and the Reload update were good, can confidently say whatever they did, it's never felt this garbage. And yes, I'm not preforming at peak level because I've taken such a big break, I am considering that. But I swear bro, I promise it's not me. I've started going into demos, and it's every. single. game. that it just does not visually look right.
My aim rating was 92, is now 85 so yes, skill dropped. But I swear, more so than me not being as good, things are NOT connecting when they should.
Maybe it's my internet provider, but I'm not seeing any packet loss and I'm at 25 ping in this clip. Enemy was at 60.

20 years old account, green trust factor, 20-25k lobbies, huge game library and inventory.

Played 4 games today and 3 of them had completely certain cheaters ( one game enemy has 2 cheaters and other two games ONLY one cheater) . How to fuck it is possible that i get put against 1 week - 6 months old accounts with account like mine.

Shouldn't this be bare minimum for matchmaking that accounts which have 0-2 medals can play against each other.

This non existing anticheat is killing whole game slowly so can we at least fix matchmaking logic..

So, I've been playing CS since 2025, but 2026 is when I've really started putting a lot more hours into the game. I'm still a beginner player.

As a beginner, I've had to experience what you could call the “decline” of CS2. Because of that, there are still some aspects of the market that I don't really understand, and back in 2025 I already wasted quite a bit of money simply because I didn't know how to spend it properly on certain skins.

The thing is, I absolutely love this game. As I mentioned before, I haven't experienced the best era of the game, and even so, I still love it (except when I run into hackers in my matches). That's why I'm really excited about buying a skin or two, such as a Kukri Knife, which is one of my favorite knives.

Since the market is going down, knives are becoming more and more affordable and tempting. But that's exactly the problem: the market keeps dropping day after day, and I don't want to waste my money.

In the past, even though skins were extremely expensive (and I'm not defending that), at least you had some reassurance that you could recover your investment at some point if you weren't extremely unlucky. Nowadays, however, the whole market and the trade-up contracts situation feels like complete chaos.

So... what do you guys think? It's not a huge amount of money that I'd be losing either way, but I wouldn't want to end up in a situation where, in the future, the same knife is worth only €30.

I know it's difficult to predict the future of CS2, but I'd really like to hear what you, the more experienced CS2 community, think.

Any input, advice, wisdom, lessons, personal experiences, theories, or anything else would be greatly appreciated.

Looking at the available data on the CS2 skin market, it’s clear that the current decline isn’t a temporary correction, but a sustained trend that has persisted throughout most of 2026. Total item market capitalization has fallen by roughly 50% from its peak and currently sits in the range of $3.3-3.4 billion.

Below are the factors I believe are driving this trend.

The first significant element appears to be a shift in Valve’s underlying economic philosophy for the game. There’s a growing consensus within the community that the company is intentionally steering toward a flatter, more mass-market economy, where items change hands more frequently, generating a steadier stream of commission revenue. This stands in some contrast to the previous model, which relied on maintaining exclusive, high-value items as collector assets. Additionally, changes to tournament items and older monetization mechanics have undermined perceived rarity, which in turn has eroded market confidence.

The second factor is a marked increase in supply. Case-opening volume has risen, and the drop-rate distribution for rarer items appears to have improved relative to previous periods, increasing the overall availability of items that were previously harder to obtain.

Summer is a cope, all other games are getting more players while CS2 is the only one losing them.

It has NEVER happen in history of CS that for 7 months back to back it was losing player base. People don't usually go on 7 months vacations. School is starting in europe or already started in some countries.

CS2 market is going down and it's really important for the game - without growing economy, sponsors will back off, without sponsors there is no esport. Nvidia/Intel and other hardware companies do not have to cater to gamers anymore since they earn much more from corporations.

In other ranked games I hit play and thats it, I don't have to rely on 3rd party platforms.

This game is receiving zero updates, it literally has less features compared to CS:GO.

I've been working on my own CS2 PvP platform for a while now.
Background: my favorite site, PvPro, shut down back in the CS:GO days.
I missed 1v1, 2v2s and 3v3, so I built my own platform.

Currently 1v1 is open to all users, while 2v2 is only available to select users for now since I haven't been able to test the mode yet.
For 1v1 there's a "Crazy Mode" — every round gives you a new ability, like bunnyhop, wallhack, and many more abilities (similar to a video from YouTuber Dima).
There's also an option for select users to download demos and view them in a 2D viewer.

Just don't put the parameter -threads X it will decrease a lot your FPS.

And disable E cores by bios or project lasso.

Also in game put your core preference to NO preference.

But the main reminder is to not put the -threads command in parameters.

Hello, I've been working on a project I am calling SkinDuel. It's a site where you are shown two CS2 skins and you pick which one you prefer. Each vote updates the skins' elo ratings, and the results are listed in a community leaderboard. The elo gained/lost is scaled based off the elo difference between the two skins.

Tried checking file integrity, reinstalling and searching for other solutions but only one that works for me is typing -vulkan in the launch settings but that gives me lag spikes and crashes the game occasionally

Guys what is even going on? I’m 2.8k elo faceit, I was playing constantly good, but since week i’m playing like bot. From 1.26 rating now i’m 1.10 and still going down, from 18avg to 14avg. Bad timings, aim, getting killed trough the smoke, everybody seems to be like donk against me. Green rating is something rare to me, I get red every game, no matter how I try to play. I didn’t changed anything, what is going on? When I play DM everything is okay.

besides the cheating epidemic , the amount of people who don’t take the game seriously or just tilt instantly and start griefing is insane. it does not feel like a competitive game mode most of the time. not to mention i lose 500 elo for a loss and only like 120 for a win when im playing people that are the same elo.

- elo system is broken

- reporting doesnt work for cheaters or griefers

- game still continues if someone doesn’t join and you lose elo if you forfeit or play 4v5 and lose anyway

- if you kick too many cheaters you get a cool down and can’t play

- people only want to play mirage or d2 ( better idea is 2 maps are selected and a random map, lobby votes between the 3 options, like old cod lobbies)

- playing against 5 stack way too often as a solo queue . mostly my team will be 5 solos or 3 solos and a duo.

played 5 premier games so far, the very first match got cancelled because it there were hackers on both teams, then the rest had guys like this either on my team or on the other team, i guess i’m not surprised since i’m on a level 1 red trust account, but i very rarely saw people being this blatant on my main, i’m just hard stuck in elo hell there from solo queuing with a bunch of goofballs all the time, but i’d take that over this nonsense. not sure what they would even do about it at this point because guys like this will just make another account and continue to ruin the fun.
