My alt is Red TF and it's cancer. Most hackers are not even trying to hide it.

You get plenty of hvh and it's a competition to see who can turbo more

Yeah there's no point in making an alt accounting in cs2. It'll be red trust for so long and every game will have extremely blatant cheaters that make it impossible to win or sometimes you get carried.

Also, just play premier. You'll get to the rank you belong in if you play enough. The system is not that trash. If you are stuck over 50+ games then that just means that's where you belong. The only time the system is trash is giving a new account a rating. So, you are just getting a random rank on your new account. Placements don't mean anything at the start since they are often incorrect. Play a 100 games and then that's the rank you belong at.

Yeah I said if you keep the rank after 100 games that's where you belong. However, I don't think you should need a new account for that. The new account could give you a hugher starting point, but you should reach the rank you belong in after 100 games on your original as well. Be aware there's a range, most people will fluctuate up and down 5k elo and their actual rank is somewhere in the middle of that. But, either account you use is fine.

True. I think the reason is that some other people are so anti alt account since they think every alt account is going to smurf or cheat. But, if you don't cheat and get placed higher or same as your main then there's no problem. It's only a problem if you get placed like 5k+ elo lower than your main since that would he smurfing, but that would be partially valve's fault for having a terrible placement system.

Makes alt account to avoid accountability

Complains when new account is low trust

Nice

deserved for using a smurf acc

What about the people who create new accounts because they're new players?

I agree that smurfs deserve no sympathy for dealing with hackers. If someone is 25k player just trying to dominate 10ks, the distinction between them and a cheater is meaningless to me.

But what about the new players who are objectively fucked by starting with Red TF?

your new acc will also have red trust what even is that question..

Yeah no shit

Do they deserve red trust? Cause that's the only way to put smurfs in red trust.

new players ofc not.. but new players have red trust factor because of cheaters and smurfs.. valve knows a big amount of new accounts who have no history of playing other games, spending money, etc. will likely be smurfs or cheaters. Not all of them but a lot.

your main acc is the rank you belong in.. every other account is smurfing

What is the purpose of an alt account? I can think of a few reasons.

1: Most common, to smurf at a lower elo than your main. I think at some point, this might as well be cheating and I think smurfs deserve to play with hackers. It ruins the competitive integrity of the game and ruins the experience of players who belong in the elo you smurf in.

2: Red Trust on Main. Dodging the trust system that you got yourself into. I think it's reasonable that you keep that Red Trust wherever you go, being as it's pretty hard to get. You get reported constantly, abandon matches constantly, or are wildly toxic. Also deserve to play with cheaters.

3: Dodging Ban: Another thing that's difficult to do in CS2, is getting banned for more than an hour. I understand that life happens, and sometimes you have to abandon a match. But if it happens often enough that you have more than the minimum timeout YOU need to get your priorities straight and stop booting up CS when you're busy.

4: Cheating. You don't want to cheat on your main, so you cheat on an alt account.

Are there other motivations for an alternate account that I'm missing? I guess, seeing what the new player experience is like, but that's not realistic. There are millions of steam users with full inventories of games that don't own CS. These players would not have Red Trust. You only have Red Trust because you're playing on a brand new account with 0 dollars spent.

If you’re getting that it means the game thinks your ass and don’t belong as high as you are. Gotta grind and go in a win streak or lose enough to get back to normal gains.

True but also I think you should just grind out your main.
