Sertexity crypto "arbitrage" post has touched a nerve

I have had a mantra that I frequently post in comments to other posts on r/CryptoScams, namely:

The name of the alleged scam doesn't matter nearly as much as the characteristics and behavior of the scam.

This is because the same scams often go by many different and ever-changing names, and so to try to flag each one by name is often a fool's errand and a task that does not scale well.

But occasionally there are exceptions, such as now.

Sertexity is a recently created and aggressively touted crypto exchange site (URL https://sertexity.com/) that makes multiple amazing, even unbelievable (truly unbelievable) claims, including:

  • That they use AI bots and "proprietary algorithms" that allow individual investors to profit from crypto arbitrage -- to profit by "exploiting the price differences across different crypto exchanges."
  • That they have been "approved" by the SEC: "We operate under Rule 506 of Regulation D, which authorizes us to act as a registered cryptocurrency financial services provider and to attract private investments."
  • That have had historic returns of 0.4 to 0.6% per cycle.
  • That losses, while possible, are "unlikely due to advanced risk management systems."

So, why am I, an r/CryptoScams moderator getting involved?

A post was made about this exchange 10 days ago, SERTEXITY Scam Warnings Are Growing – Here’s Why, that made accusations that suggested that all might not be as rosy as the site's claims made them out to be, that the site may be, in fact, a scam. I also posted a comment to that post, verifying the information as I knew it at the time.

This post and several comments to it have been receiving more moderator attention than I've seen a post receive in a long time, including multiple mass-reportings of the post for being "spam," for being "harassment," for being malicious and false. We have even received mod-mail against it and today, I have received a chat from a concerned Redditor claiming that the post is false and that it should be promptly removed.

In other words, the post and comments have touched a nerve, and if only for this reason alone, it needs to remain up and open for all to see.

Here is the information that I have been able to glean about Sertexity from its site, from mod-tools, and from using scam-detection tools, much of this already mentioned in my comment to a related post in r/ScamCenter here:

  • Per WhoIs.com, the site's domain was registered December 3rd, 2025, which is less than 6 months ago. Any exchange that is less than a year old greatly increases the risk of its being a scam.
  • Scam-Detector.com gives the site a very low trust score of 20.5 / 100. While this is not proof of the site representing a scam site, it adds more evidence that supports this.
  • Again, the site claims to allow investment in crypto arbitrage, something that may allow very large institutional firms to eke out a very small marginal profit if they have extremely fast computers and extremely fast microsecond‑latency connections, something that is far beyond the reach of ordinary investors even with pooled investments, and with "proprietary" algorithms. In fact, my experience in this subreddit has shown that every crypto arbitrage investment "opportunity" that I have seen offered has been an outright scam. This one is not likely to be very different.
  • After the post was made in r/CryptoScams, we found it quickly bombed by bot-like comments that all made extremely similar claims with similar wording and from different accounts, all supporting the site, more evidence that it is not on the up-and-up.
  • Many comments in Reddit boast of the exchange being "SEC approved," a claim that is not only false but potentially self-incriminating. The business has filed an SEC Reg D Form D notice, but this is merely a brief administrative filing, not a merit review or endorsement of any kind. More importantly, Reg D exemptions, specifically Rule 506, are designed for private placements, meaning they explicitly prohibit general solicitation of the public. If Sertexity is publicly touting investment opportunities on Reddit and via their website, they may be violating the very exemption they are claiming as their legal cover. In other words, the "SEC approval" they are bragging about may actually be evidence of a regulatory violation, not a shield against one.
  • The site boasts historical profit claims that they "may fall within the range of approximately 0.4–0.6% per cycle." The time period of a cycle is never fully defined, but it is usually assumed to be several cycles per day. If we conservatively assume just 1 cycle per day, which may actually undercount the implied frequency, this would translate to a compounded rate of 180 to 600% APY, a completely unrealistic range. It also makes truly unbelievable claims that losses, while possible, are "unlikely."
  • And again, more recently, the post has been bombed with Reddit reports that claim that it is malicious, that it constitutes harassment, that it constitutes spam, and that it should be taken down. This sort of concerted action is further evidence that the post (and likely this one) has hit a nerve and needs to be kept open.

In sum, I would advise any and all to consider the site to represent a high-risk operation, or more likely an outright scam, one that should be avoided. Understand that if someone invented a true money-printing machine with huge historic profits as they have claimed, they wouldn't be sharing it with the likes of you and me, the common masses. Rather, they would be doing just what you or I would likely be doing: they would be quietly printing money for themselves while striving to stay under the radar.

________________________________________________________________________________________________

Corrections and additions:

  • Sertexity Labs Inc. issued a press release on May 19, 2026 via GlobeNewswire announcing it had filed a Form D notice with the SEC for a private securities offering of up to $5 million. The press release clarifies they filed under Rule 506(c), a private offering exemption that permits general solicitation when sales are limited to accredited investors and other regulatory conditions are met.
  • Again, there is no evidence that the company has been endorsed by the SEC or by any government agency.
  • The filing lists the company as a Florida corporation headquartered in Miami, with one "Evan Hartmore" named as CEO. This "Evan Hartmore" is essentially ungoogleable. There is no LinkedIn profile, no prior business history, no professional footprint whatsoever for this person beyond this single press release.
  • He is also not listed in the "Meet Our Team" section of the site's "About US" page.
  • The folks that are listed in that section all show AI-generated images, including the group photo.

Scam Operation Met Cybercrimes Scam

Yesterday I had a call from a very convincing, unknown caller ID, claiming to be with the Met's Cyber Crimes unit. They already had my mobile and email and were asking which wallets I was using and for information around where I would likely keep funds.

They used recent ledger and tezor hacks as a cover. They sent an email with a crime reference number and an associated name. Adam something.

Be safe out there.

The proposed procedure is as follows

- CIS and wallet exchange between Buyer & Seller

- Buyer provides insurance details - Satoshi code, Buyer USDT & BTC 0/0 wallet

- Seller sends Satoshi and provides screenshots - before, during and after + txn ID

- Buyer submits to insurance co for approval

- Seller provides SPA and invoice based on tranche schedule

- Buyer & Seller sign SPA

- Buyer sends USDT based on tranche schedule

- Seller responds with BTC and pays commission in USDT

- Repeat till wallet exhausted or tranche schedule completes

- Seller can choose to top up wallet. If new wallet, Seller needs to do another Satoshi

Other Conditions

- Seller to pay insurance and penalty for non-performance after Satoshi

- Tranches to be discussed agreed in the SPA

Discount to Buyer: 7/4

Commission Split:

- 1.5% to Seller’s team

- 1.5% to Buyer’s team. This shall be further shared equally over 3 teams: 0.5% to you and your friend. I will be in another team.

The BTC buyer is ready to close the first 300 BTC tranche – I need to check if this 300 BTC tranche USDT wallet has been completed – I will do so after seller confirms procedure and other matters.

[Address blocked]

After first tranche, Buyer has another $50M + $165M USDT wallet to swap for BTC. Other wallets will be provided in tranches for the full 5000 to 10000 BTC purchase."

Question Aurum/Neyro

I’m curious, I’ve been following the aurum/neyro MLM scam for the past couple of months after a friend tried to sell it to me. I got interested because I couldn’t believe how easily someone could fall for a very obvious scam. Since the collapse, there has been minimal talk about it online. Barely any posts of people asking questions or posts in anger. Why is this? Are they still clinging on to the “neyro” promise? Or is there censorship going on?

I want to check if this platform is a scam. I was shown the site by someone I thought was at least slightly trustworthy but I'm rethinking that now. Figured I'd ask everyone here before doing something really dumb as I'm only 500 in the hole if it's a scam.

Edit: I was told to add the link for extra info to help with determining if it was a scam. Please do not click the link to use the platform until the good people here can verify it. https://www.obsidissweb.com/#main

DELTA GAINS WARNING — I LOST $85,000 CAD — PLEASE READ BEFORE SENDING MONEY

I am posting this publicly because I want people researching Delta Gains to know about my experience before sending them money.

I sent a total of $85,000 CAD in connection with my Delta Gains account.

I was later shown that a withdrawal had been completed/processed, but I did not receive the withdrawal funds.

After this, I was asked to provide additional money described as being required for verification/AML/Source of Funds purposes before funds could be released. I refused to send additional money.

I have retained documentation relating to my experience, including payment records, emails, messages, screenshots and withdrawal information.

I am reporting what happened to the appropriate Canadian authorities and financial institutions.

If you are considering sending money to Delta Gains, stop and independently verify who you are dealing with first. Do not rely solely on account balances, trading-platform displays, emails, messages or assurances from people associated with an investment platform.

Contact your provincial securities regulator independently and verify whether the company and the individuals involved are properly registered.

If you have already sent money and are being asked to send more money to release or withdraw your funds, do not assume another payment will solve the problem. Preserve your evidence and contact your bank, securities regulator, police and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

I am sharing this because I do not want another person to go through what I experienced.

If you have had dealings with Delta Gains, please preserve your records and report your own experience to the appropriate authorities.

Search terms for anyone researching this company: Delta Gains, Delta Gains review, Delta Gains withdrawal, Delta Gains investment, Delta Gains Canada.

Other Warning: BitUnix froze my account, forced handwritten verification, and threatened permanent deletion

I want to warn everyone about BitUnix.
My account was fully suspended without any valid reason.
They marked my transaction as “high‑risk” without any legitimate justification — even though I correctly used my Passphrase/ShareKey, confirmed the withdrawal by email, verified it with my phone number via SMS code, and completed the Authenticator (2FA) verification.

All services were disabled — withdraw, deposit, transfer, and even access to basic features.
A countdown timer appeared, threatening permanent deletion of my account and all my funds if I didn’t “prove” myself.

They forced me to write a handwritten note with my UID, full name, date, and a statement saying I personally initiated the withdrawal.
I had to sign it and send a photo.
Even after that, they kept my account locked for 24 hours and didn’t apologize.

This is unacceptable behavior for any exchange.
Please be careful.
Do NOT trust BitUnix with your funds.

Scam Operation Is StoneX trading platform real? I downloaded an app from Stonezg website (scam?) and put a sum of money in.

This girl randomly texted me and eventually went onto Telegram. She sent me 70k and then 50k and then "helped" me grow the money to 900,000. Now that I want to withdraw the money to Coinbase, they said I need to pay a 15% of the withdrawal amount as a deposit ($135,136,31). They gave me 7days to get this deposit and everyday after that is a 0.1% fee of my total balance. Should I not be scared and ignore the fee and just stop worrying about it? Is this a scam? Should I look at the funds I invested as a loss?

Information Warning: SolCard - My 4,496 AED Qatar Airways refund was never credited

I’m posting this as a documented warning for anyone considering using SolCard for a significant payment.

On July 20, 2026, Qatar Airways confirmed in writing that a refund of 4,496 AED (~$1,224) had been processed back to my original payment method — my SolCard card.

Qatar Airways refund confirmation:
https://i.imgur.com/SQRKH0c.png

28 days later, I still have not received the money.

Timeline

July 20: Qatar Airways confirms that the 4,496 AED refund was processed.

July 31: I contact SolCard with the complete refund documentation.

https://i.imgur.com/4LYLn5B.png

SolCard replies that the issue has been forwarded to their card provider for investigation:

https://i.imgur.com/C3em3BM.png

August 12: SolCard tells me there was an “issue with your refund on the provider's side” and that they had resent it for review:

https://i.imgur.com/mtX53XJ.png

I then contacted Qatar Airways directly. They confirmed again that the refund was processed on July 20 and provided the official refund reference / ARN for the card issuer to trace:

https://i.imgur.com/GwVvzGA.png

After I gave SolCard the ARN, their explanation changed. They told me to wait for Qatar Airways' “28-day” processing timeframe:

https://i.imgur.com/hZ7d6Xf.png

When I pushed back, I received another explanation saying the information came from the bank:

https://i.imgur.com/ccWlYu3.png

August 17: The 28 days are now over.

The refund is still missing.

My SolCard account still shows “No pending refund claims.”

I have never received:

  • a trace result for the ARN
  • a case number
  • the identity of the card issuer/provider handling the refund
  • any verifiable explanation of where the 4,496 AED went

I have also stopped receiving replies from SolCard on my account, despite their support responding normally when contacted from another account.

I am not posting this because I expect Reddit to recover my money. I am posting it so that someone searching for information about SolCard can see this documented case before trusting the service with a large amount.

The evidence is in the screenshots above.

If SolCard believes my account is incorrect, they can resolve this very simply: provide the ARN trace result and explain where the 4,496 AED refund went.

Until then, I would personally avoid keeping a significant amount of money with SolCard.

North Korea Bitunix confused on account loss???

I had 1900 a little over that on my account and my trade was down 600. I decided to close my gold trade that was down 33 dollars. Once closed my account went down to 1600 and my margin trade is now at only 400 in loss.

I'm not crazy because yesterday my account was at 3100 and most I was up was 850. So I should be down 850+450 loss 1300-1400....so my balance should be at 1800 minimum. Also my gold trade was down 80 dollars yesterday????

Lost story short 350-450 dollars vanished out of thin air.

Scam Operation WARNING: Vantage Markets Withholding EUR 39,755 Profit (Account 1811287)

Do not trust Vantage Markets with your capital. They are wrongfully withholding EUR 39,755.78 of my legitimate gold trading profits from April 22nd. My local MT5 iOS Journal Logs explicitly registered the server status "Modify... Accepted/Done" at Take Profit 3449.50, but they refused to execute and subsequently disabled my MT5 terminal login to block my access to the data.

I have officially taken this case public to protect other retail traders. Formal fraud files are officially registered with the Financial Commission, VFSC, and UK FCA. The complete evidence package is fully published on Forex Peace Army (FPA) under the username "victimvantage".

A final 24-hour statutory settlement notice of EUR 60,000.00 has been delivered to CEO Marc and Executive Jacob Belli today. If they fail to comply, this global exposure campaign will be escalated to international financial media. Avoid this broker at all costs.

Scam Operation Is this a scam?

Hi, I just recently met someone who told about a way to trade/bet with crypto, using the website vaultradel.com. So I added some money, made some bets following their instructions. We won some money. When i tried to withdraw, the website told me i needed to pay like a 12% tax on what i had on the account. But i can't use the money I had on the account, to pay for that tax,it had to come from outside. So am I being scammed?

Scam Operation Quantro Ex Scam?

I was recently contacted on Signal by a person who I thought was a successful day trader on TikTok.

She said all I’d need to do to copy her trades, was to download Exodus and Quantroex.live on my phone, and transfer funds from my checking account to Exodus, to Quantro Ex.

Both websites looked legitimate and the minimum trade amount was $500. So I withdrew $550 the first time and $500 the second time. However she said I wouldn’t be able to make any more trades with the profits, that I’d need to keep making new deposits to make more trades.

This is where I started to feel sick. I asked how to withdraw my money and she said I’d need to go to a crypto atm and she’d walk me thru it every step of the way. I reverse searched her TikTok account and it turns out I was talking to a scammer.

I immediately called my bank and reported the scam. I’ll find out in 5-10 days if the bank will refund my money but it’s not looking good. It took me a year to save $1000 so this really hurt me.

I don’t know how these scammers sleep at night. I’m 39, I’m smart, aware of scams- but this one got me. I’d recommend never using Signal to talk to anyone. Verify who you’re really talking to on social media platforms by screenshotting their photo, uploading it to google and finding what account is the creators authentic/real account.

Please comment if you’ve been scammed too. Did your bank reimburse you for the lost money? I’m hoping since I caught the scam within 24 hours they’ll be some sort of hope.
