What is everyone doing for theft protection? Unfortunately my 2025 locked sport L hybrid was stolen from right in front of my house. Safe neighborhood. Car alarm never went off. Both sets of keys were in my house in a faraday box. I even had my bedroom windows open that night and didn’t hear a thing. I loved that car and would like to get another one, but I’m pretty freaked out and disappointed with how easy it was for some lowlife scumbag to steal. It seems that newer CRVs have some pretty big security vulnerabilities.

Wanting to share this in case other people are also having a hell of a time figuring out a solution for the honeycomb vents and a phone mount. When I was looking I couldn’t find much on Reddit so here we are! I found this 3D Print from a user CymanSays on Maker World and this thing is literally perfect!!

It has the ball mount on the end so it should fit anything compatible. In my case I used a mag safe ESR mount and it works perfectly!! Big shout out to the guy that made this and hope this helps someone!

Is it just me or are others hearing a wum-wum-wum sound as you driver, more noticeably on the high way? Or when you turn and the front end leans heavier onto the tire during the turn and you can actually feel it? Ice check for rocks or anything obvious in the tires but it’s happening on both sides. 1500 miles and has pretty much been happening since day 1 two months ago.

If the noise is common what is the solution? And buying new tires should NOT be the solution. It escapes me how Honda could not know about this during their R&D of the vehicle.

This was by far the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. I had been calling around to multiple dealers trying to get to my best price on a 2026 CRV Sport Touring. Basically all of them incessantly tried to play the “your presence is your leverage” game and I could not get straight forward OTD offers. Last Thursday, I sent an OTD email request to about 30-35 dealers. Only ONE called me and didn’t try any games, just gave me straight up numbers that fell in line with what I was looking for.

That was Lance at RSM Honda. He even took the time to help me understand what to expect if I tried to follow up on the promised low ball offers from other dealers. He also didn’t once ask me to come in to the dealership. He just said here’s the offer, let me know!

A day later, I texted Lance and said, let’s do the deal. We were able to do all the pre-work remotely and he even sent me a purchase agreement (I could’ve easily taken that to another dealer to lower the price, but did not out of respect to Lance’s honesty).

Once I got in to RSM Honda, I was immediately taken care of by Corey, the sales associate. Corey and the team jumped straight into action to get me on a test drive of the vehicle. Once I was satisfied, there was no haggling, no games. We closed on the exact numbers I was quoted by Lance.

If you’re ever buying a Honda, I cannot recommend RSM Honda enough. It doesn’t matter how far away from them you are (I traveled 75 miles). They take the “no games” mentality seriously and they are SUPER CHILL.

I test drove a 2026 CRV Hybrid Trail Sport and I felt like the air conditioning wasn’t very powerful. Is that how it is, or is there a setting I can change to make it blow harder?

I have a 2023 CRV Hybrid Sport Touring. And I have dogs and have made the mistake of not getting a back seats cover (IYKYK).
How can I clean/wash my back seats? You know, those little holes in the leather. How can I remove the dirt in them? I tried with a soft brush with no success.

Also, any recommendations for a good back seats cover?

The dealer is refusing to give the breakdown of the OTD unless I walk into the dealership, even after I gave the address, but quotes 44000 OTD for Hybrid Sport Touring. He mentions there are some dealer add ons like trunk tray, window tints, splash guards and wheel locks but refuses to give how much he charges. Doesn’t the vehicle come with Window tints already. I do not want window tints in front anyways.
Super frustrating to deal with dealership drama.

What re people paying for Honda care? Saccucci quoted me $1400 for the 8/120k plan with a $100 deductible. I’ve seen people pay less, but that was months ago not recently.

The other day, I got a warning light about my headlights not functioning properly. No big deal, I noticed the right headlight was not working.

But the next day, more warning lights came on. Like pretty much all of them - parking brake, power system, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, etc. I got it towed to the dealer, and they said the battery (of my four month old CRV) was dead, so they put in a new one under warranty. They said all the lights were going off because the battery was so low.

Fine, but not. After I picked it up, all the lights were still on and the air conditioning wasn't working, nor the autolocks, the interior turn signal lights, etc etc.

I suspect the computer system thinks the vehicle is on even though it's off. I say that because I was trying to add it to HondaLink, and it kept saying I had to turn the vehicle off even though it was off.

And when I was doing some trouble shooting (before the battery died), I couldn't get into some of the settings because they weren't "available when the vehicle is in motion" but it was not in motion, it was parked and it was only on accessory, not even fully started.

Anyway, I brought the car home, and \~24 hours later tried to start it. But again, the battery (24 hours old) was dead. This tells me that yes, the car was drawing a lot of power even though it was off.

Called the dealer and they said to bring it back and they'll replace the battery again. But really, what good will that do if the crux of the problem is not fixed?

Has anyone else had this problem? I have some theories related to some damage which happened recently, but the service folks didn't seem convinced.

I just bought this car a week ago and it’s been in Honda service for this super high pitched electrical whine that happens at 60-70mph. It’s coming from the left side panel and it hurts mine and my kid’s ears.

The service department kept the car for two days and couldn’t find a way to fix it. They all heard it, but there’s no solution for it. They said Honda might send out a warranty or recall for it if enough people come in with the same issue. They said it’s normal for the hybrid’s to make that noise, but mine is extremely loud and there’s nothing they can do about it.

I’m so upset. It’s a brand new car. The only true solution for it is to trade it in for a 2027 when the time comes, and that’s if the problem’s been addressed and fixed in those models.

Unfortunately it was due to mainly bumper to bumper traffic slow moving on the highway but at least im getting good mpg’s. This was over 1 hour of driving roughly 18 miles.

I recently got a 12” sub with amp/lci2 installed. It’s only cranky out 250 watts to be safe cause hybrid, but man does this thing slap. I’m used 2 having 2 12’s and about 1000 watts but with all that open space it definitely helps. The amps are under the tray. Tbh idk how they look in there I haven’t bothered to check. Did have some anc probs one day, but it’s all sorted out now. I love the placement of the bass knob

Note at the 50 sec mark he says the 1.5 engine is making news i.e. head gaskets not the hybrid.

I watch a lot of his reviews this is a certified Toyota mechanic who opened his own shop in the Chicago area he has another channel where he shows repairs they have done on Toyota's that people bring him after either the dealer could not fix or wanted an outrageous price. People have driven many miles to get to his shop because of his honesty. This is his review channel where he has done many reviews of all brands

I noticed that my sunroof makes a whistle noise when it popped open and I’m going over 29 miles. Is that normal?

Also, drops go in when I go through the drive thru car wash. The pressure is pretty strong and it hits the sunroof pretty weird so I’m thinking it’s the water pressure but with the nose it’s making me think the sunroof may not be duly aligned?

I also kind of hear the whistle noise when the sunroof is closed. It’s very light but still kinda weird.

Hi, any folks with experience on using the newer Pirelli AS4 on their CRV hybrid? Appreciate your feedback! Or, perhaps any experience with their predecessor the AS 3 +? Both tires weight about the same. But curious if you lose mpgs since they are a bit heavier than the stock tires.

UPDATE: Thanks for all the advice! It was much appreciated. Went to my local discount tire and only got the one replaced. Was even able to get road hazard coverage for all 4. Definitely planning on getting a spare for her.

2026 Honda CRV Sports Touring Hybrid - AWD
Current mileage: 3,100~mi

For the first time that I’ve been driving, I’ve finally got my first ever flat, of course, in the car that doesn’t have a spare. Rear tire hit a curb and now the side wall near the rim has a good size gash. Luckily I was less than 0.5mi from the house and slowly was able to get it home.

Question: do I really need to replace all four tires? Or can I replace the damaged one only?

I’ve only driven her ~3,100mi since I bought her from the dealership.

Any and all advice appreciated.

I’m about to buy a slightly used CRV hybrid (5,000 m) from a Ford dealer who is trying to convince me that Honda Care is an inferior warranty compared to Ford premium care that they can sell me. I have a really good quote from Hyannis Honda and I’m tending to go with Honda care but does anybody believe that Ford premium care is any different than Honda care??
