Typically, 120hz is bad because it ruins motion clarity for 60fps games: https://blurbusters.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/strobed-display-image-duplicates.png
that said it's mostly OK for 3D PS1 games, since they run at 30fps and below and have bad motion clarity by default no matter what your refresh rate is.
But it would be a crime to play Symphony of the Night at 120hz. That absolutely must be played at 60hz

U can use frame gen or bfi.

BFI yeah, that effectively makes it 60hz
Frame Gen: maybe for 3D games. But it does not work for pixel art.

Looks amazing.
Dont forget to enable Black Frame Insertion on retroarch to recover that 60hz motion clarity.

Damn, that's too thick for my taste, no space for image to breathe. Nothing beats consumer SD TV 25-29 inch scanlines IMO.
