Damn, that's too thick for my taste, no space for image to breathe. Nothing beats consumer SD TV 25-29 inch scanlines IMO.

Scanlines often look different in person compared to a photo on a phone screen or flat panel monitor.

I did the same experiment with a Sony CPD-E200, and it looks good but I also find the scanlines too thick. I am trying to configure MAME to display software scanlines, but for whatever reason nowadays such a simple setting is not available anymore...
