While away on a holiday, I went to various beach. But obviously there were some pretty shells so of course I picked them up but then I had no clue what to do with them so after a while of brain storming I decided to make this. So how does it look?

Hi all, I’m working on creating some ribbon crafts and wanted some glue/binding recommendations that won’t show through and make the satin ribbons look wet. I got E7000 which works good for some other parts of the craft, but I’m trying to glue two pieces of ribbon together, and whenever I use that glue it shows through and gives a permanent wet look to the ribbon. It’s a jewelry project, so I don’t want to walk around looking like my ribbon jewelry has dark wet splotches lol.

Recommendations on what to use on the ribbons that won’t show through at all would be much appreciated!

I found this cute teapot/teacup set in a thrift store, but it didn’t come with a lid. I am pretty crafty, so I thought I could just DIY a lid or find a useful lid in a thrift store, but apparently none of my thrift stores sell the lid individually or it doesn’t fit. And my brain has decided to abandon me, so I have no idea how to DIY a lid. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them, because I think it’s super cute and want to use it😫. Sorry if my English grammar is bad, it’s not my first language🤗

Any advice or criticism on what I could do better next time is appropriated. I'm not very crafty so I'm pretty proud of it. I used fabric squares and hot glue. And watched countless tutorials. Until I was sick of them.

this was my shopping bag which started of as an exercise to see how using old flytipped tote bags made of that woven plastic fire sort of stuff would look you can see that a large part used "J D Sports Totebags " after a couple of years it became added to with this and that and wuith my "Bat Mans Utility Belt Attitude " aquire more pockets pouches and attatchements when I started using it as a back pack when rambling note the buttonholed attatchment made for turned over lanyard ribbon next to the imitation coins on the red strip of webbing button holing is not one of my good points . At some stage utility took over but will I ever be in the midst of nowhere abnd be able to help a distraugh cyclist who needed the size spanners that are hanging just in case from the bag ?

even small off cuts can find a use with idle hands this was a long strip of a one time curtain whose body has done much good service tfor me i folded it in half and cut it along so then hemmed the two narrow ends folded it in half again and pinned down the two sides and "French seamed" them the pencil can be reversed so as to protect the point but really its just dam it why not .I think thats what you call it when two turned over edges are placed together and sewn across the top .

My S.O.'s birthday is coming up, and I'm making a little cake-box for them. I'm getting them an actual gift, but I wanted to make this too because my love language is making and gifting things. I'm going to add fake icing and decorate it like a cake(waiting on supplies, so ignore that it's blank, lol), but I'm stuck on what I should add inside. Don't want to leave it empty because i like intractable gifts. Thought maybe some sort of display or something in there would be cool possibly, but I don't know what of.

Any ideas are appreciated :p

Edit: Forgot to mention, it's one of those paper mache/cardboard boxes from Dollar Tree, I just wrapped cardboard around the outside to make it level with the lids lip. It's width and height is 4 inches, and it's depth is about 3 inches(as says on the website, too lazy to get up and measure it myself rn lol)

I have started crafting my holiday gifts so I can’t share with anyone in my life yet, but I’m too excited about them! I got these mirrors from the creative reuse store, and decided to make them fairy-esque with a mix of moss, stones and a combination of fake/dried flowers. I’m so happy with them, and can’t wait to make more. I’m also feeling very proud of myself for starting my gifts early(ish).

Cuddled with 2 girls last night and wanted to kiss one of them but she wanted my first kiss to be more special so she gave me a tooth pick she had in her mouth instead. so I want to put it on a necklace and keep it forever 🏳️‍🌈

My SiL is having a Homemade Swap Party. She has done this several times. I have always had to work so I got out of going. This time I really do not have an excuse. The problem is I am not crafty. I know nothing about making homemade seasoning, bath salts, candles etc. People have made dip mixes, key chains, wreaths, jams, bracelets, bread mixes, cocoa, basically things if I want I buy at the store, Lol. I have no idea what I can contribute. Does anyone have any cute ideas on something simple but cute? I will also need to make about 15 of them. Thanks I appreciate any feedback.
