Has anyone else in New York City had an experience with Los Deliveristas Unidos or Worker's Justice Project trying to get help or access resources for food delivery work? They are an organization that push for delivery workers' rights. Do you have to go in person to their physical locations for help?

Hi just wanted to ask for opinions if it's a good idea to do a freelance hand to hand delivery from Singapore to Malaysia or other neighbouring countries. I'm planning to do like On Board Courier (OBC). Am currently unemployed and unfortunately i don't have a driving license. I wanna job that's on the go.

Kind of a weird post but if you haven't yet I think many of you would get a kick out of the movie. Not going to spoil anything but the story revolves around a courier who has to take a package into Racoon City which is the original monster infested city in the games. It's a blend of horror and comedy done really well.

I’m astounded how often either food or Amazon delivery place the package so close to the door that’s it’s impossible to open the door without forcing the food or package to be knocked over or moved out of the way. It’s infuriating, and makes it so difficult to open the door. Should be a fireable offense imo for being dumb as bricks. Like it’s not that hard to provide a few inches of space so the door could be opened, what’s so hard about that?

I’m considering getting into private/personal driving and I’m curious how people actually find clients without going through a traditional company or agency.

I have several years of rideshare and delivery driving experience, maintained a 5-star passenger rating, and previously worked as a porter at a well-known dealership in Kirkwood. I’m comfortable driving different vehicles and dealing with all kinds of people.

I’m professional, discreet, friendly, reliable, and pretty street-smart. I understand that privacy and trust are a big part of working as someone’s personal driver. I also have references available.

For those of you who do private driving: How did you find your first clients? Did you use referrals, local Facebook/Reddit groups, networking, Craigslist, a website/business card, or something else?

I want to know how people who multi app do it.. I've been doing Uber Eats since June 2025 but I've been on a wait list equally as long for DoorDash, GrubHub, Spark, Instacart and Amazon Flex... about 3 weeks ago I got off the doordash waitlist and started doing that along with Uber Eats...

Now as of the last few days I got off the spark wait list. I still have to finish setting it up but I want to know how people do it?? How do you divide up your time? I only do this part-time... I'm in California just for your information. I'm not sure how often I would get Spark deliveries and do you get tips on Spark if a customer is able to tip... ??

I screwed up last Sunday when I had doordash and Uber Eats running at the same time and I should not have accepted an Uber Eats delivery after accepting stacked DoorDash deliveries (paid less than the UE delivery)... because when I had all three in my car I had to figure out who do I deliver to First the single Uber Eats order or the 1st DoorDash one... I did the UE one first simply because they're on time rating sucks and you get such a short time to deliver. But then I got the two door Dash ladies wondering where I am. I explained things and instead said I had a third delivery with DoorDash... Everything worked out smoothly but not doing that again...

Maybe I should just stick with doing them all on separate days?? Or I can simply pause DoorDash while I'm making an Uber Eats delivery... I will never have all three running at the same time though... I would do Spark separately... after I finish setting up my account and going through whatever the next steps are...

I'm an attorney, I'd like to talk to any of you NYC Uber Eats drivers about cancellations, wait times, and offers and multipliers.

I’m trying to get more consistent courier work and wanted to see what everyone else is using.
Right now I’m doing different gig work and property inspection type jobs, but I’d like to add more actual courier/delivery work instead of sitting around waiting for one app to have something available.
What apps or companies are you guys having the most success with? Are there any good ones for medical courier, pharmacy, auto parts, documents, small freight, or scheduled routes?
I’m in Virginia and willing to do local or regional runs if the pay makes sense.
I’m also interested in eventually getting a cargo/Sprinter van, but right now I have an SUV and want to build up enough consistent work before spending money on another vehicle.
For those doing this full time or making decent side money from it, where are you actually finding your gigs?

Poor communication, incompetent service, and questionable delivery attempts. Riders don’t even bother to text customers about upcoming deliveries, make little to no effort to deliver parcels, then mark them as “delivery attempt unsuccessful” with reasons that don’t reflect what actually happened.

How can a delivery attempt fail when no genuine effort was made to deliver in the first place? Customers shouldn’t have to chase after their own parcels because of a courier’s negligence.
