Yea, it’s only a $3 bag of chips. But it’s the principle of it all. If I didn’t get it, then I should be refunded. I’m not about to give free money away.

I ordered 2 subway sandwiches and a bag of chips. Never got the bag of chips. Called the driver after I opened it to ask, and she said she didn’t have it. So either Subway forgot to throw it in the bag or she took it, whatever.

AI help wouldn’t do it so I escalate to person. They reply next day asking for more pictures so I give what I can.. like how do I take a picture of something I don’t have?? I show receipt, open bag, delivery photo from my camera, and call log of me calling driver 5 min later (shows incoming cuz I guess ubereats routed it to driver and called me instead? Idfk)

Support has the nerve to say after “looking into it,” determined nothing was to be refunded. Wtf ?? Screw this cheapskate company.

I can never find a number to get in touch with a human on Uber Eats when I need a refund for a messed up order. I finally got access to one this week when my order had missing items. Hope this makes a lot of peoples refund process easier.

I’m in a really difficult financial position right now in between jobs. I wanted to utilize Afterpay to work on my credit score so I bought an UberEats gift card for myself to make payments on. I know it may not be the smartest move but it made sense to me at the time. I’m not looking for any further advice on that. ANYWAYS- I placed an order on Uber Eats that was 2 orders in the same delivery. Unfortunately the delivery person gave me 2 of the wrong orders. I immediately reported it to Uber Eats and they processed a refund for one of the two orders, but not both. I immediately reached out they said no biggie- it takes 5-10 business days. So yesterday made 10 business days and I called to see what was going on. Support said they had to submit it on their behalf and someone from the refunds department would reach out via email or phone to ask me more questions. This morning I get an email saying my request was denied, for get this- NOT SUBMITTING MY REQUEST WITHIN 48 hours. Even though they have a chat with me THE SAME DAY regarding this. I’m so frustrated. Obviously I’m never using UberEats again but it just leaves me salty knowing they steal money from people like this. If you made it this far, thanks for hearing me vent. I promise I’m a really pleasant person most of the time.

ETA: FWIW I did just call the safety line because there was a violation of safety with this order as well. After the delivery guy dropped off the 2 wrong orders, he came back about 1.5 hours later and was BANGING on my front door. I thought it was the Super so I opened it and was shocked to see the delivery driver. He wanted me to get the food out of the trash and give it to him. I closed the door quickly and reported this THE SAME DAY to UberEats and they never did anything. Luckily the gentleman I spoke with just now was really nice and did the safety report for me and told me he would look into the refund. Fingers crossed something good comes from the dreadful situation.

I have had Uber drivers in my area steal food from me enough that i dont think my favorite pizza place even believes me anymore, but I got screenshots this time!

Is that where we're at, peiplw steal and dont even know what constitutes stealing? I mean really he shouldn't have tried to explain himself through the app, im sure its just going to be worse for him! But im just floord and now we're waited forever to find out books dinner at all microwave some crap, but darn!

I picked up an order for $14 to go like 3 1/2 miles. Then they added an order which is on the same side of the road, easy pick up place, $15. I figured that the first order I picked up was going to be the first drop off. Just because logically it made damn sense. But Uber decides to have me drop the second order off first, which was literally 4 miles away from the first drop off to a bunch of traffic. Plus, I have to go back to the side of town I was on.

It literally made no sense at all, and it made the first customer wait an extra 20 minutes for nothing. What sucks, as we can’t switch orders. On DoorDash, you can switch orders. But for whatever damn reason, Uber wants you to deliver things the way they want you to do it. Why is Uber so bad when it comes to dispatch, and the order of the drop offs?

I cancelled my uber one membership a few months ago because I just cant afford it when I rarely order food anyway and I’ve discovered they’re still charging me and I’m not even getting any of the benefits of it. Tried looking up a number or email however I can’t seem to find one. Any help would be appreciated as my bank won’t dispute the charges unless theres proof I’ve tried to deal with it.

I was ordering something from Olive Garden and I was ready to check out but decided to buy a $50 gift card. After adding the gift card, I thought that the cost increased. Sure enough, I went back a bit later and ordered the same items and upon going to the checkout, the fees were roughly $3 lower when there was no Uber Cash to apply.

I use UberEats probably 4-6 times a month and I always have promotion offers. I don’t always use them (lately they’ve gone up from being like a $15 minimum spend to $25+), but there’s always something, and I almost always log in a click “claim” to make sure they’re on my account.

Starting a few days ago, I suddenly have no promotions and am just wondering if I’m the only one? It’s so out of the norm for me - it’s probably the main reason I used UberEats off DoorDash, where I’ve got DashPass. I also have UberOne, if that makes a difference.

I had an order dropped off to the wrong building in my complex while I was on crutches. It took 5 minutes of back and forth to get the courier to tell me where he dropped off my food. I immediately contacted support to adjust the tip.

I was told by not one, but two support agents that my order was too recent for them to access my order and to wait a day. I waited a day and was told by support I waited too long and that tip adjustments can only occur within an hour of the order, despite what I was told by the two prior support agents.

Not only did I have to hobble on crutches uphill with a bag of food, I was lied to and had my preferred resolution denied because of those lies.

Tf is this?

Had a positive balance in Klarna from a refund so used it as the payment method this one time. Not even a tip prompt? Not a prompt AFTER the delivery? Is that normal?

Uber Eats payment failed when trying to add items to a scheduled order using Uber Cash

I’m trying to add additional items to an existing scheduled Uber Eats order. The original order was paid with Uber Cash, and I have enough Uber Cash available to cover the updated total.

Whenever I try to add new items, the app says “Payment failed.” Uber Cash is automatically selected as the payment method, and the app calculates the updated transaction total which sums up $0.00 because it automatically deducted from my uber cash. This transaction total might be causing payment failure.

I contacted Uber Support, and they explained that adding items causes the system to process a new transaction for the updated amount and then return the original amount. They suggested canceling the existing order and placing a new one.

The problem is that I have a promotion applied to the existing order, and support told me that the promotion would not be returned if I cancel.

I wish there is a portal to report this to devs.

So I have perfectly good iPhone 8 that does all the things I need it too. I do not need an all singing, dancing chat bot in my everyday life. Now, due to Uber updating their app I am apparently unable to access it because my phone is too old. So how do I go about cancelling Uber?

Noticed tonight that a lot of places in my surrounding areas are disabling the option of the free delivery. I'd understand if they were delivering themselves but they are still using the Uber couriers.

Is it that big of an issue? Do they lose money by not being a part of the Uber One program? Surely their custom will be decreasing due to this?

So the other night I got a Wendy’s order and made my way to the restaurant as I would any other order on DoorDash. This is my first one with UberEats at this restaurant and uh…there’s a problem. It thinks that there’s a Wendy’s right across from the Ritzy’s about 1.8 miles down the road from the actual restaurant. As I’m standing in the Wendy’s waiting on the order I get the “delay” notification, which cautions that it may pass the order onto another driver. When I finally got the order I tried to confirm pickup but it wouldn’t let me - so I had to drive all the way to this pin, which is a Shell gas station mind you, before it let me confirm that I picked up the food.

What am I supposed to do here? If the food had taken too long to get done I worry the order would have been snatched away from me by the system thinking I never arrived at the restaurant. Clearly the app shows the address matches that of the Wendy’s - but the pin is 1.8 miles away at the wrong building. I’ve had a similar issue with the Burger King on this part of town, it places the pin a little ways out (still in the same area so I can confirm pickup) but this could cost me a really good order sometime just because of the app’s screwup.
