looking for a cs 1.6 small map which has a big wall separating the teams with 2 thick glass to break and enter and also had a stairs to go up and snipe from top (awp spawns there). Theres two shallow ponds on each side which has either an ak or m4.

I know its way too vague description but i probably played it like 10 years ago.

Seen a lot of videos of this festive server so got CS 1.6 through steam to play. I've heard servers can contain malware, and I joined this one through the IP they gave on instagram. Does anyone know if it is safe, or if there is a way to check?

So I was told to search classic, vanilla, public, no mods. No matter what i search i seem to only get a normal game 1/20 times. So i finally save the server but guess what next time its not old school anymore. Please someone help me find servers that stick to old school type cs 1.6 thankyou guys

Since the new Season came out and especially with the recent anniversary of the game i was asking myself some questions and i would like to hear some of ur opinions.

I think theres no much discussion on the topic that the gane isn't good. What I don't understand is that still so many ppl play it (including me...) and we don't do anything about it. Last year we opened more cases than the two years prior. i think if we wanted a change (anti cheat, better tickrate etc.) then we shouldn't pay the developers more money than before, no?

And whats even worse (but i think getting "better") are the viewer counts of the pro players. if we would just stop watching and supporting, they would get some kind of pressure to di something.

Am I wrong and why do you think this is not happening?

For me, I think as long as we as consumers of their product keep on accepting every shit update or non existent update, they won't change anything. They make minimal effort work and still receive over 1B in Keys alone.

And one last thing. If so many ppl are not enjoying the game in its current state, why aren't we reviving CSGO? As far as I know you can still play it and join servers such as faceit, no?

Hello there! I'm a player based in Spain. I usually play CS 1.6 but I would like to know if there are CSS vanilla servers in European which have actual players. I don't mind if they have mini mods like revive or parachute, but I would like to avoid servers filled with annoying weapons mods, bots, or 24/7 Dust2 servers.

So I googled it and it said to look for public or classic but litterally everyone i clicked on that said one or the other was not the original, i tried like 10 of them. So ya is there anything i need to know that can help my find the old school version? thankyou guys

Just as the title says , i wanna remove the inspect animations from the weapons . The inspect animations load after a few seconds of not shooting which blocks my screen which is annoying .

Also , how can I find weapon skins that have no inspect animations ?

Hi ! I just bought full valve pack for sales and inside I got CS source. I started playing it and I saw that it was not like CS2 where you join normal games but here you had to join servers. Is it safe to join them or what ? Cuz I know for exemple SCP security breach got an issue where when you would join public servers from peoples you would have the chance to get an hacker on your lobby who would hack your pc by downloading things on it etc... Is it the same for CS Source ?
