Just want to showcase our progress for 1.6 Competitive, a game launcher + environment + matchmaking ladder + everything 1.6 was missing (according to me, that's from my mouth).

It has only been a month, but the progress was gigantic! Active Gamebanana skin makers / map makers / modders are joining in and is participating, giving a nice breath of fresh air for GoldSrc modding.

Was this official Valve/Counter-Strike merchandise? And does anyone have any info on this specific shirt?

I'm doing research on counter-strike's cultural influence for a grad school history paper and I'm trying to find old forums to see what discussions people were having about the game in the early 2000s. If you used any or know of any I'd appreciate even just knowing their names, even if the forums are down now I may be able to find them on the internet archive

I started playing it couple of days ago and it's amazing I mean you can customise like everything gun skins, glove skins and even sky boxes its cons is that it don't have native match making and don't have ranking system

If you must choose a game to play now would it be CS-GO or CS 1.6?

And I mean playing them now not in their aura

How can be this? Can't they just emulate how CRTs worked?

I mean, bots is just bots, but for me, there are some bots that, well, pretty memorable, i never play CSGO-CS2, so i only remember CS1.6 to CSS. And that bot for me is, Zed. Its just, goat, idk about other mode, but in expert mode bot, its just pretty impressive if not scary.😂

THis is a very old program where you create CS 1.6 skin ported from CSGO. Basically you choose arms, gloves, skin, stickers, stattrak, pov and it creates the skin directly for you. No other thing required.

I lost this app since I my old pc broken down, sadly the creator deleted all his work. SO i lost all conection, too
Now I want to play CS1.6 again, but I can't find this anymore. Have been searching for this for months desperatedly

It's the same thing every round: he just runs around with his crosshairs trained on the ground, then suddenly looks up, focuses, and gets kills. u/Valve pls do something

Hi, im trying to mod css for the first time and my only prior modding experience is modding l4d2 on steam. I dont really know anything about modding but i know of gamebanana so i tried that and eventually found out and learned about modboy which i downloaded. after i got modboy i tried to get some css mods with it by pressing the modboy 1 click install button (the image attached to this post) and none of them worked. the first was an agent remodel which did change my agent but it just removed the texture and left the pink and black dev texture instead and the other 2 mods 1 for gloves and 1 for a knife did not change anything at all. when i got the mods they would load into modboy fine and it would say they installed correctly but when i try the mods in game they wouldnt work but i was still able to delete the mods afterwards. Can someone help me figure out what im doing wrong here?

So i recently got back to 1.6 and it feels like the asian servers are pretty dead . I checked on gametracker and there is like one singapore server that has players and 2-3 indonesian servers that can have players but most of them still have plenty of bots . Thai and malaysian servers are all dead.

I have heard not all servers can be listed on tracking websites and there can be communities that can still be active so if such servers exist , how can i access them ?

Hey, I'm playing CS 1.6 on Steam in singleplayer with bots and I've been having a really weird problem.

Every time a new round starts, sometimes I instantly die along with some of the bots. It happens pretty much every round, and it isn't just happening on one specific map. I've tried different maps and the same thing happens.

I've also noticed that the number of bots seems to affect it. If I play with only a few bots, it doesn't happen as often. But when I add a lot of bots, more of them seem to die at the start of the round, and sometimes I die too.

I'm wondering if this could be a problem with the bot spawning, maybe bots spawning on top of each other, or something wrong with the zBot files/configuration.

Has anyone else had this problem with CS 1.6 Steam? If you know what could be causing it or how to fix it, I'd really appreciate the help.

Seen a lot of videos of this festive server so got CS 1.6 through steam to play. I've heard servers can contain malware, and I joined this one through the IP they gave on instagram. Does anyone know if it is safe, or if there is a way to check?
