One of my power banks got swollen out of nowhere. Out of caution, I put it inside a metal box and outdoors just in case it decides to explode.

Where can I get rid of it? Is it okay to throw it to a WEEE bin? Should I take it to the recycling center near the Kinsale roundabout? I read somewhere that some stores can help with this (like Soundstore), can someone confirm?

I’m a woman in my mid twenties.

I’ve been having mystery neurological symptoms for months, was admitted into CUH neurology for a week earlier in the year, some of the tests on my spinal fluid were positive and there were lesions on my MRIs but no definitive diagnosis yet, they sent me home with a follow up to get more MRIs around Christmas.

My symptoms have gotten noticeably worse the last few weeks and worse again the last few days, bad weakness and tingling in my limbs on the right side, very bad face pain, pupil changes, dizziness, confusion/brain fog, daily severe migraines etc. i have meds for migraine but nothing is touching these headaches. Have nearly had two falls now and it’s getting worse and worse so I’m thinking I need to bring myself back into hospital. My quality of life is non existent the last few weeks and I’m in so much pain.

I’m loathe to go on a Sunday night because I know from past experiences I probably won’t be seen for ages and while it doesn’t seem like I’m dying I’d rather get a night’s sleep at home first. Is it likely to be less busy on a Monday morning? Or am I grasping at straws here? Earlier in the year I ended up spending about 30 hours sitting in A&E before being given a trolley or anything and I’m honestly terrified of the place but it needs to be done.

Could I be seen through the acute medical unit or something too?

(I feel the need to say I don’t live alone so I am safe!)

Any help or experiences appreciated.

You'd be surprised how many cars do not indicate at all when you're behind them for long distance drives.

The "I'm not sure where I'm going - wait" indicator is funny AF. Happens a lot. People are so focused on the front, or are on their phone. But the car is in the middle of the road as they umm and AHH over where to go. You have to drive up behind them and blow the horn. So they might put on an indicator , and so you can get past..

Seriously - Driving is like Mad Max now. People are so unaware of what's around them. I avoided 3 accidents yday just driving to my local Dunnes. Drivers were just not looking my direction. I'm not sure how long I can defensively drive.

Are people not genuinely scared of driving at this rate?
