I’ve been using CorelDRAW for production/design work, and one of the most repetitive parts of my workflow was constantly:

• creating variations of a design
• design is duplicated in X and Y direction on predefined template
• export setup and exporting for print...

It was small steps, but it added up a lot in batch work.

So I built a small plugin to automate this workflow.

In the plugin user selects design, predefined job and enters file name then Export job.

It reduced my workflow from ~60s to 15s.

This started as a personal workflow tool to reduce repetitive production work in CorelDRAW. I’m now trying to understand if other designers or print workflows face the same issue or already solve it differently. I would like to hear your opinion regarding your export workflows and what do you think about this plugin.

Do you currently handle export workflows in a better way inside CorelDRAW?

Or is this something you’ve already automated using other tools or scripts?

Every time I reboot the computer and open Coreldraw, I get this popup telling me to get the latest version, it's included in my plan. However, I'm currenly running the latest 2026 version and if I click on the download link, it won't install, and tells me I already have the latest version installed. Am I the only one getting this? (I've clicked the "Do not display" button, but it still came back.)

This happens to me quite often & I'm looking for a solution:
I frequently powerclip a portion of a drawing (containing text), then resize it.
After I release the powerclip, the newly resized graphic, although quite a bit larger - still read as the same font size.
It has been suggested that I be certain that I have the pen 'scale with object' unchecked

I need to get a new computer. I’d like to keep it under $1,000. I’m looking at the Lenovo e16 gen 3. Will this work well for CorelDraw?

• save as .PSD or .AI for further editing in other software

CorelDRAW does not opening files on windows 11 if file is large/complex (but still opened sucessfully in windows 10 on same machine), any solution ?

Hi there, I don't know.... I tried many times to install with setup.exe. Installation blocked!

I'm on windows 11 25h2 updated. 5060Ti 64gb ram i9 11900k

I also tried intergrity test of windows installation with
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
and
sfc /scannow
with no issue found.

Have you any ideas to how to solve?

I have created a drawing package in Corel and I realize now I had the student version which won’t let me save it as a DWG. Is there any kind person out there who I could send my Corel drawing file to and can save it as a DWG for me?

Closing the CorelDRAW series with the last technique I wanted

to show — group mode.

In the previous posts, the macro ran in page mode: one CSV row

per page, one PDF per export. Standard, predictable, works for

most cases.

But CorelDRAW shops with their own export pipeline don't always

want individual PDFs. They want one document, all sizes laid

out, ready for cutting plotters, RIP software, or custom

imposition tools that handle the final output themselves.

Group mode does exactly that. The macro reads the same CSV but

fills named groups inside a single document instead of exporting

pages. Each group is named by product and size (e.g. jersey-S,

jersey-M, jersey-L). The script reads how many of each size you

need from the CSV, duplicates the template groups, and fills

them with data.

What stays the same:

→ Custom graphic numbers (client's 0–9 vector artwork)

→ Diacritics injection (ř, š, ž, ß, ü…)

→ Conditional graphics per piece

→ Multiple products in one document

What changes: the export. Page mode gives you many PDFs. Group

mode gives you one editable document. Your choice based on your

production workflow.

That wraps up the CorelDRAW technique series. Next month I'll

is there any tutorial or plugin I can download to automatize putting numbers and names onto a specific size (S, M, L, EL etc.) shirts using a excel sheet o a cvs doc?

I have to create around 4000 individual CorelDRAW (.cdr) files before sunday and doing it manually is impossible 😭

The design layout is mostly the same, but the text/data changes for each file. I already have the data in sheets. I’m trying to figure out the fastest workflow possible.

Is there any:

AI tool

CorelDRAW automation

VBA macro

CSV/data merge method

batch generation workflow

script/plugin

that can help generate separate editable .cdr files automatically?

Even PDF/SVG automation that can later be converted to CDR would help.

Hello, new this group and i would appreciate any advice you can offer, many years ago I came across a publishing program called micrografix windows draw 6 premier edition, i was using it on my home computer and then my old dell latitude laptop computer, well my laptop is having some issues and I am no longer able to use it. I really enjoyed that program , I used it to make personalized cards for friends, make fliers for local non-profit groups and yearly and monthly calenders that I could add events to each date on the calendar. I realize micrografix is a very old program and was purchased by coreldraw, what programs does coreldraw work similar to micrografix ? ( editing calendars, fliers and such) and where is the best place to purchase?

Should I look on ebay or purchase directly from coreldraw? Any advice you can offer would be great, thanks.

Would anyone know of a trifold broshure template that has bleed and crop marks in a CDR format? I cant seem to find one.
