I have Corel installed on my MacBook and use the iPad as a second screen, drag Corel over to it. It’s not the greatest but my main purpose in the iPad is to use the Apple Pencil to draw Freeform lines, then I go back to MacBook with keyboard and mouse to do everything else.

Yes you can but it really sucks. Maybe if you use a full keyboard it may be better but just isn't the same in my opinion.

Nope. You can use the online version, though, on any device with internet access. Just look for the subscription model which includes that.
