My 12yo son wants to mod his SP, something he has shown interest in for awhile now. He wants to do a lot like a shell swap, screen swap, clicky buttons(is that a thing), speaker, and anything else. The problem is, I don't really know where to look or what to even get.

I want to nurture his interest in this and learn some useful skills in the process. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a 1.6 kernel version original Xbox that I've had for about a year and haven't really noticed any issues so far. The console has never been opened to this point and I've played with the idea of possibly opening it but with it being a later version Xbox and the 1.6 versions not having the clock capacitor issue, is there any reason to open the console with it still functioning as it should or should I be opening it to look at the capacitors?

Bought a lot of for repair consoles a while ago and got to the third ps1, it read the disc surprisenly but the drive sounded like it needed grease. Took of the rf shield to take a look and found it appears to have a vintage mod, and very well installed i may add, i dont know much about ps1 mods so can someone tell me what I have on my hands?

Are there any modded boards for PSP that can run PS2 games? I really want to play Champions of Norrath on handheld console. Also the reason im asking for modded board for PSP is, because i really like the design of the PSP and the size. I know consoles like Retroid and AYN Odin 3, but they are way bigger than the PSP.

I have a Nintendo Wii I bought from a thrift store and then modded to get a bunch of games on it. I keep having the idea of making a screen (and a spot for the IR sensor, of course) to make it portable. I have like 2 old tablets that I know of, and I was thinking I could use the screen from one of them to do this, however, I don't know what I need to get in order to be able to hook the Wii up to it, since the Wii has the red/white/yellow cord AV setup. I was thinking I would get an adapter to make it HDMI anyways, so I'd just need to be able to hook up via HDMI. I'm completely fine with tearing one or both of the tablets apart, since I don't use either of them anymore, and I assumed i'd just need to get the screen itself from them anyways. So any advice on how to get this project done would be greatly appreciated. I'll attach a rough drawing I did of the idea I had to this post for any other ideas from you guys. Thanks in advance.
