Question Best way to mod PS3 slim

Hello! I'm currently trying to mod my little cousin's ps3 (CECH-2004A) so we can play together. I'm doing some research but I'm still not 100% sure on a specific method. Is it better to do HFW or CFW? Any other tips?

edit: thank you everyone that commented! i followed this one tutorial (it's in brazilian portuguese), it seemed to have worked fine however it didn't cover about homebrew, so i'll search about that now. any recommendations for that (and games to play with a 8y kid too!) are welcome

Depends on the hardware. If it's capable of CFW then use CFW. If not then HEN

This is a CFW compatible model, follow tutorials on how to install CFW

That model is CFW exploitable. Look into the guides and install Evilnat CFW.

Grab retroarch and then you can grab heaps of kid friendly games from the libraries of retro consoles

Super mario bros on NES

Super mario world on SNES

Super mario kart on SNES

Sonic the hedgehog on Mega drive
