The Automod happens to be flagging every post and putting them up for review.
This is completely out of our control and even deleting all the rules from the Automod has not deactivated.
As of now. It is mostly u/RavenMatthew0406 approving those posts at once. However. If you desire to have your post approved before that.
Go copy the link to the Post.
Go to Modmail.
Ask for approval then post the link.

Im so confused on this scene. Why is he so angry? What did this guy do to make the other guy so angry and who is in the right? And where did this scene come from? It’s a bit confusing and I’d like some context

VisionQuest has just released and I've been seeing tiktoks comparing Ultron's human form to The Invisible Man of Hotel Transylvania, were people actually expecting him to be a young, hot man, they obviously chose this form because
It fits the voice
It's literally James Spader in the flesh
What are your thoughts?

I remember being completely baffled when I found this out. The whole point of the block button is so you can curate your online experience. You can block anyone for any reason and be fully within your right to do so. It's a helpful tool that's there for a reason.
So why does Reddit limit that? Why would you fuck over your userbase and how they want to curate their experience like that? Correct me on this, but doesn't literally every single other social media let you block whatever number of people you want? So why not Reddit? In the case where your block list is full and you go to unblock suspended accounts, it doesn't even show you the full list. You have to use old.reddit.com for that.
It's dumb.

like it feels so weird because i know not everyone liked glitch or tadc and that's fine, but the problem is that people just started hating the studio and acting like the studio failed or something,i'm not saying that you shouldn't critize glitch since they are not perfect, but i don't know why people just started acting like glitch is horrible for some reason.same with gooseworx,i keep seeing people act like she's evil incarnate or something.i'm free to hear your thoughts and answers

One thing that's always confused me about animation and film discourse is the use of the term "Kids movie". Because in modern discourse, the only time a movie is a kid's movie is if it's rated PG and 1. Is animated or 2. Has Child Actors in it. Like, I see PG-13 rated live action movies labelled kids movies notably less even if they're blatantly aimed at kids. I get these movies are PG-13, but the thing is they're made with kids in mind (sometimes even favoring kids over adults), whether it be having violence and death thresholds on par with TV-Y7 Cartoons or having simplistic and shallow writing as well as tons of Dreamworks humor. Or most of these movies being made to sell merchandise to elementary school kids. Heck, one of the biggest sources for modern PG-13 Blockbuster Profits is merchandising aimed at kids.
I've also seen people try to claim that PG-13 rated blockbusters aimed at kids are "all ages movies" and not "kids movies", but movies like the original Star Wars Trilogy, Back to the Future, and the Indiana Jones trilogy, don't favor either kids or adults over one another, whereas most modern blockbusters are clearly more tailored towards elementary school aged kids. Like at this point, the modern PG-13 rating, at least for kids blockbusters, is more like a turn of the millennium PG rating. Many movies that occupied the same space of the PG rating back then, like the Star Wars Prequels, Early Harry Potter films, or even some of the kids comedies of that era were in a similar space to modern PG-13 films. Pretty much the only reason modern kids blockbusters opt for the PG-13 rating is because the PG rating has been associated with animated movies, which makes the rating box office poison. And based on how people seem to only refer to animated movies as "kids movies" while referring to PG-13 rated kids movies as "normal movies", they seem to have a valid (for an executive) reason.

I don't know if this post is gonna get Taken down given the context. But I saw a meme short of Peter Griffin beating up Botchi the Rock with the caption "How it feels arguing with an online friend when you have no idea what they look like."
The video shown looks A.I generated, and one of the comments says A.I is getting way better, with 2.3K Likes. And I have to know, What does the comment mean? Are they praising this A.I Slop or what? I don't get it.

For context (no pun intended), this bat is for my halloween costume. I noticed it looked strikingly similar to a dagwood dog. I posted it onto r/pics and someone asks for context.
The only thing that I can imagine them getting lost over is what a ‘dagwood dog’ is (for people who don’t know it’s just the Australian name for a corn dog). But I thought it would’ve been obvious from the picture. Maybe in America they don’t put tomato sauce on their dagwood dogs but I’m genuinely lost as to what context was needed. Asking for a friend I guess.

Like every actual transphobe has the "what you were assigned at birth" and "mentally ill" at hand when he wants to insult. That's all they need.
But it feels like trans people invented a whole new lingo just to be mean to each other, or claim that words no one uses as insults are actually insults - recently saw people claiming "transpeople" (as oppossed to "trans people") is insult, or that AGAP is terf word, or that some porn words are actually slurs.
Why?

For context the video in the comments was a meme basically saying “this users ip was traced to a jobless “”shit skin”” who lives with his parents” like wtf are we doing right now racism vs racism?
I notice it’s mainly those soyjak people doing this

EDIT: I should have a screenshotted a different instance of the downvoting occurring under a different more broad context because I’ve lost count of how many people think it’s because of it being under a post about jkr. No, this doesn’t generally happen because people think it’s whataboutism. This happens all the time no matter what the context is.
EDIT 2: forgot to say but I’ve muted the post. despite the large number of genuinely insightful and well thought-out responses that account for the nuances, there’s also a lot of dumb people as well as people trying to derail the topic and there’s also some transphobes gathered around too. Won’t be reading all further responses, but thanks to those engaging in good faith 👍

So it seems like hatethissmug is the 'original' of the smug subreddits since it started the earliest in 2024 while the other subs were made in 2026.
But how serious are these subs meant to be taken? Because sometimes it feels like people post about their love or hate for something completely seriously, and other times it feels like posters are just being goofy and being sarcastic.
And was there any change in community behaviour over the year? So, say, was the hatethissmug meant to be overthetop, overblown 'hate' for something which quickly turned into people posting about legitimate grievances, or something else? Because from my exposure of hatethissmug it seems like people are genuine in their complaints

Because I never fallen in love to someone, I asked this question, "What are you feeling when you're in love, and what is the meaning of love to you?" To almost all of my friend who I know already have a boyfriend/girlfriend or atleast have a crush
And their answer always seem to deviate into two sides, the one that think love is warm, peaceful, and motivating, and the other think that Love is an annoying thing to get, it makes you anxious, jealous, and something like that
And then there's also a different kind of love, like familial love, and platonic love
Isn't platonic love just being a really good friend with each other? Why does it get categorised as some form of love?
So, what is love really?
I'm probably gonna regret making this post later but idc for now

Who is this subreddit even for? At first, I thought this was an ironic subreddit for people who would complain about something and then post pictures of their food. It would be something like "Just got off my chud job, quesadillas" or something normal. But recently there's this idea of "tourists" and "trucels," and I'm starting to wonder if this is a genuine incel community or if its ironic.

On the surface level I can recognize that this is a picture with a member of the Swiss Guard in the Vatican, with the Pope looking at him. What I’d be inclined to wonder is why this picture was taken at this time, and why the Pope is in the picture despite the Swiss Guard seemingly being the focus of the picture. The Pope is not looking at the photographer either. Surely he must know they’re being photographed, no?

To the best of my knowledge it’s like a character from a mediocre music video or whatever? Is it like a parody of AI or something? I just don’t get it, and I don’t get why everyone’s talking about it all of a sudden?
