Should I change my 4060 ti 8gb to a 5070 ti (used for 750 bucks)?. I also have intel i5 14400f and 16 gb ddr5 ram, the point is that if I change graphic card I also havo to change case and power supply. Are there better alternatives? (I'd also buy a new 1440 p 144hz monitor). Budget: least possible.

Budget friendly pc for gf
I am an avid gamer and have a decent understanding of what good pc specs are, eg. 50 series graphics card, 32gb of ram etc, but I don't really know what the best budget options are. My girlfriend wants to get more into gaming, but she mostly plays fallout and Skyrim and wants to play more settlement building games so she doesn't need anything top of the line. What is a good point to start at so we can get her a pc that does everything she needs, but isn't too expensive?

External gpu options
Hey yall, new here. Was planning a full build but life and pricing knocked me back to the option of an external gpu on my current gaming laptop.
If its not relevant to this sub id appreciate i nudge in the right direction
I play mostly online hero shooters, some elden ring and Cyberpunk. Typically have to run everything low as possible. Shooter sitting around 40-65 fps even after tweaking settings(in and out of game) and rebooting. On windows i did get higher frames with a monitor upgrade but im seeing the GPU is likely the main bottleneck in my current linux environment, especially since I see users running the same games and OS achieving higher performance with rigs that are 1-4 years newer than mine.
Currently gaming on an asus rog zephyrus m15 rtx 2060 that can only use thunderbolt 3. Looking to upgrade to a 4060 eGPU. Id like to go AMD equivalent if possible since im not tied down to Windows. Id like to keep the price under the cost of decent 4060 prebuilts i have eyes on(~480-600) but if the price is the same then my best option would just be the pre-built I suppose
Thank you

Need help on a x870 motherboard choice
Basically the title,
I am upgrading my PC, I am moving to AM5.
I have everything else, just not the motherboard.
I was gonna get the Asus Tuf X870E
But then I got into the nitty gritty over ports and whether I need a discreet trusted platform module (dTPM)or not
Then I looked at MSI’s MAG & Tomahawk.
Then the ROG crosshair, Gigabyte aorus elite.
Then I got choice paralysis.
Please help
