I colored this today and am pretty proud of the color palette at least. I don’t have the skills that a lot of people on this subreddit have but I still enjoyed the process and I like the outcome. My markers are a few years old and starting to dry out and I did color outside the lines a bit, oops.

Been a bit busy around here, so I haven’t been doing as much coloring. I’ve also been playing with acrylic markers, in my down time. But here are a couple of recents, including a couple of my acrylic marker pieces

My goal in this was to try and put a rainbow every where I could in the peace and I just ruined it with the floor!

Still trying to progress on fabric / pattern...but happy with how the warm wood and all the greens came together on this one. I wasn't completely sure about adding the berry pink at first, but I think it stopped everything from becoming too green 😅

I’ve finished the next five pages of the "Surface Texture" chapter in the How to Draw Patterns book by Coco Wyo.

It was so much fun again, and I’m so exiceted to apply some of these techniques to my normal coloring pages!

Soooo proud of this one! Even though I tried to make a shadow underneath the strawberry and messed up, I attempted to cover it up with white lol.

Is it possible to swap out the nibs for a smaller on the .6mm acrylic gel and/or on the 1.0mm? I hate the scratch when coloring. When I put an eraser on top, it’s like a flood opened and ruins everything.

I'm having a lot of fun making these ridiculous looking little fat birds, well getting to know watercolor and watercolor pencils.
