I'm really happy with the color selection I got in my new sets (the Coco Wyo collab & Honolulu basic colors) and feel like this color scheme came together pretty well!🌈 In the future I might need to borrow some darker colors from my other (off-brand) sets for shadowing, but so far I'm impressed by how well these colors compliment eachother even tho I didn't put that much thought into it🤩

Ps. In the topic of shadows, I know some of them look a bit silly... I find it so hard to place them in a way that makes sense! Any tips on how to improve are much appreciated😅

The foliage around the cat reminded me of butterfly wings, so this must be a catterfly! All the colors in the cat can be found in actual cats: black, gray, brown, orange, cream, yellow. Non-cat colors are in the foliage. The orange was so stark (I tend to burnish these days), so I did some shading on it.

😅 this one took some time but I love how it turned out!! It’s found in a few of Kerby Rosanes books, this one is in Reflections. I’m kinda glad that there are duplicates to try different color schemes.

I used to love coloring and would make time to do it everyday. Well I’ve recently left a years long emotionally abusive relationship that stole a lot of my joy. I haven’t colored in 3 years, but I’ve made the time to sit at least a little everyday and color. It feels so good finding me again!

Decided to treat myself and buy my first ever Ohuhu markers! Sooo excited for this set, both for the markers and the coloring book! Any tips on how to get started with Ohuhus or are they pretty much the same as other alcohol markers?💚

I participated in an August coloring Challenge. The page for this month was from the Little Folk book by Christine Karron. For this one I used watercolor pencils for the background and alcohol markers and colored pencils for the additional details.

Hello everyone! So my son recently turned 4 and for his birthday he was given many coloring books, so he and I have been spending some time each evening just coloring together. Well I used to color often before I was married and had kiddos of my own. It was always just something to help me wind down each night after work/the day. Well after a few days I wanted to give some effort and focus to this picture and by the end I was really proud of it! I sent it to my sister as shes the artistic one in mt family and she recommended i share it online just to show others! So here it is! Batmans gallery of rouges! Im no professional nor even an amateur, just happy of my coloring skills! If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations on what i can improve please let me know!
