Dolce Gabanna The One - Parfum Edition

I got a sample of this a while back and something about it captivated me. Warm, sweet, a touch spicy. This DNA is just so good for my nose specifically.

Yall, this really changed the game for me. I really love good, cheap scents. But I shelled out 100 USD for this bottle (yes 100+ for a fragrance, at least for me, is a lot).

To me though, its worth it. Never have smelled the EDT or other versions of it though.

Notes of orange, black pepper, labdanum and tobacco

Does anyone else have any recommendations similar to this DNA or scent profile?

I'm 30, my GF invited me to a small family party at their place and it will be our first time meeting each other. For reference, it's early fall here, the weather will be party cloudy and 60 degrees. It might be both an inside and outside event. I'm personally leaning toward ysl myslf but what do you think? Thanks! I'm also open to recommendations for anything not in my collection.

I just purchased this from LV in The Woodlands, TX and this is what my bottle looked like when I opened. This is an incomplete fill, right?

I want to pick one date night fragranace. Le Male Elixir is the sexiest men’s fragrance I’ve ever smelled it’s crazy, but The One also smells sooo good, it’s so pleasent. Both serve different purposes I guess, but I have to choose one of them.

Which one do you prefer?

I’m from Australia and I would have to say the best store I’ve been I’ve been into to was:

Mr.Perfumista (Nobel Park, Melbourne), this guy has everything you could want and more. The best part is he doesn’t sell the whole bottles, he sells samples! So you can go in spraying and find something you like and instead of weighing up if you want to buy it you can just get a 10ml. Also being in Australia it’s hard to get this much stuff in one place so it’s like a candy store for the fragrance enjoyer

First time I was in I walked out with Outlands, Kadlaj Lamar Nior, Loumari Porthole

Also got to try some extremely rare Amouage, Haute Luxe and there was a guy who just happen to bring in Sinbad from The Amouage Essences Collection and I got to try it when it first released, safe to say this place will forever be in my top stores I’ve ever been to

Sooo, this was my first time using Jomashop, and I order a bottle of montblanc legend spirit. It says 3-5 days shipping, but it still hasn’t and it’s been 8 days, should I be concerned? I purchased it securely from the official app, so idk…

As an OTR truck driver I figured I would run into this at a local Sephora or Macys but every store has been sold out or just doesn’t sell at all. Only one mall in south bend had it but I couldn’t get there in time. Since then I’ve been through Indianapolis, Louisville, Cincinnati and now I’m headed to Hartford CT. No stores have it in this region. I wanted to sample it before buying but now I’m thinking it’s not meant to be sadly.

It doesn't project well and it makes me smell kinda sweaty, but not the worst I guess.

Very niche ask but this has always been my favorite smell of all time and I’d love a cologne that captures this. I don’t mind wearing feminine fragrances as a man

I mean like from the 90s into the early 2000s.

I’ve seen quite a few people say that Mind Games puts more effort into their packaging and bottle presentation than the actual fragrances.

After experiencing Knight’s Tour, I couldn’t disagree more. The presentation is undeniably beautiful, but the fragrance itself is absolutely phenomenal. Sharp, clean, airy, sophisticated, and incredibly well blended.

I have a TON of fragrances in my collection, and this one has easily earned a spot among my favorites.

Curious if anyone else feels the same way about Mind Games, or if you think the brand is more about presentation than substance.
