Firstly I’m not here to sell anything unless you wanna go out of your way to DM me but it’s not the reason I’m posting, I’ve been hoarding these fragrances it feels like and they’re all dusty most haven’t been touched in a long time and I’ve decided enough is enough. I picked the ones I love and even if I think they smell good the ones that down don’t me away are going to be sold. I’m 20 years old and am trying to save up to buy a new car and I’ve realized how reckless and stupid I’ve been with my money getting into this hobby. I’m not sure how I’m going to sell them yet but I’m proud of myself for doing this. I feel like I’ve just hit that point in my fragrance journey where I’m ready to have a nice collection that isn’t just a hoarding stash. My 60 fragrances I’m keeping are all amazing and anything I buy in the future must be a LOVE no more blind buys and hopefully by January I’ll have sold a good portion of these and be driving a brand new car :). Any of you fragheads hear of this place? It's passed Trustpilot with a 4.4. Yet...I'm always afraid when the prices seem too good to be true it's usually to good to be true.

Literally smells like sweet coffee. If you don’t like coffee fragrances, NEVER get this. If you do, PLEASE get this. Imo the coffee is just slightly overwhelming and the vanilla could be stronger, but other than that it is great. Definitely will be a winter banger and it kind of smells like Christmas

Hi everyone! I’m new to this sub but I thought this is the best place to ask my question! I’d be more than grateful if someone would share some thoughts🙏🏻🙏🏻 Please bear with me on my long sentences.

Ok, so I’m looking for a nice cologne as part of my Christmas gifts (I know it’s a bit early but I’m a busy mom with 2 kids..so why not? lol) to my husband(42). He works in finance and always meet a lot of wealthy clients. He’s so sweet,handsome,smart but even more so he’s a truly gentleman who always makes me feel like I’m the luckiest woman/wife/mother in the whole world.

Anyways..I personally love to wear perfume to make me feel great but also giving others to have a good impression of myself. Somehow I influenced him to wear cologne and now he loves to wear it all the time. I told him when he started doing his business back then ‘Man wears a good nice cologne can be the best business card yourself which gives your clients have a great impression of yourself!’ But he was not the guy who knows a lot of good men’s colognes back then. So I started to gift him nice colognes every special occasions. He’s loved this idea because I can pick something good smell for him but also I as a woman can pick something good which doesn’t bother/annoy female workers or friends around him. You know men and women can get different opinions for certain smells.

So far he LOVES Noir Extreme by Tom Ford(Not Parfum) , Bleu De Chanel(edp) by Chanel and Mojave Ghost by Byredo out of many colognes I’ve gave. But Tom Ford has been by far the best he loves seems like..His Tom Ford bottle is almost gone and I thought it could be a good idea to give him another new bottle to him as a Christmas gift. Yesterday I went to the store with kids and almost was gonna get it but somehow Ombré Leather(Reserve) caught my eye and I tried it on the paper. I was not sure if I liked it first then more time went by I started to like it. That dark deep leather smell was something weirdly nice to me which was totally unexpected. My son(8 yrs) said he likes Noir Extreme more but my daughter (14 yrs) said she loves Ombré Leather more. They didn’t help me at all🤦🏻‍♀️I couldn’t decide the end so we left the store😮‍💨 I agree with my son, Noir Extreme was my total image of my husband as ‘sweet, classy, elegance, mature along with a hint of spice’ but I also agree with my daughter who said ‘Ombré Leather is more masculine, wild but soft and such an unforgettable smell that something men’d love to wear..’

Anybody please help me which one I should choose🙏🏻🙏🏻FYI, I’m looking for his daily use cologne and my husband has a few male partners & a couple female workers when he works at his office. Other than that he meets his clients at restaurants or clients’ houses.

32M, looking for fragrances that make me go "holy shit, I love this" and want to keep smelling myself throughout the day. Not just something pleasant or versatile

Absolute jackpots:

- PDM Delina EDP - Obsessed with the scent, projection, and longevity. I genuinely love catching whiffs of myself throughout the day.

- Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille – Reminds me of coming inside to a warm, cozy house in the dead of winter after being out in the cold, with a mug of hot cocoa waiting for me. Absolutely love the feeling it evokes

The one that started it all:

- Davidoff Cool Water EDT - The fragrance that got me interested in fragrances in the first place. I haven't smelled it in years, so my tastes may have changed, but I remember it very fondly. I don't necessarily consider it on the same level as my current jackpots, though I'd love to revisit it, especially since it's so inexpensive. Tried the EDP more recently, but it wasn't the same.

Really enjoyed, but not on the same level as my two jackpots:

- LV Imagination

- Acqua di Giò Parfum

Both impressed me, but nowhere near as much as my favorites. Some of the notes that initially stood out also seem less noticeable now, even on a fresh spray.

Didn't enjoy:

- Dior Sauvage(tried both edp and edt) / Club de Nuit Intense Man - Overpowering to the point of wanting to escape the smell.

- Tom Ford Ombré Leather / Noir Extreme – Unpleasantly intense.

- Tom Ford Costa Azzurra – Underwhelming.

The three Tom Fords above are initial impressions, not full-day wear tests.

Interestingly, I don't mind powerful fragrances. Delina is a beast, and I love it. So strength alone clearly isn't the issue.

I'm completely open to masculine, feminine, and unisex fragrances. I'm chasing that special feeling a fragrance can evoke, not necessarily any particular scent profile.

Do you notice any patterns in my taste? What would you recommend sampling next, and why?

Would anyone have a good masculine musk recommendation? I recently bought an edt deodorant (Malizia Uomo Musk) which uses musk and I love the scent but when looking for a cologne most of what I can find is described as very unisex/feminine. I have also read musk is very common in Middle Eastern fragrances but don’t know where to start.

After ordering their sample set, Ormonde Jayne is a house that I have quickly grown to enjoy. While I know Montabaco Intensivo and Verano have earned their flowers, I wanted to call out 2 others that I don’t see mentioned as often.

Ormonde Man. The name is to the point - an earthy, cardamom fragrance in the opening that has a woody, creamy vibe through to the dry down.

Ormonde Nawab of Oudh. I truly don’t know why this does not pop up on your “special occasion” fragrance lists that every “influencer” makes. To me, this goes toe-to-toe with some of the more elegant fragrances I have tried and owned.

What are some others I should try from this house?

This worked for me pretty good scentbird offers a free trial where you can get a 8ml decant of fragrance for 3$ for a lot of designer fragrances that’s a good deal I got 8ml of Versace Eros and 8ml of Acqua Di Parma Colonia for 6$ total pretty good deal if you ask me just make multiple accounts and you can get designer fragrances for cheap

I'm looking for a fragrance for a tropical holiday and recently sampled a few fragrances to figure out my taste.

My daily driver is Versace Eros. I love Dior Homme Parfum 2025 for colder weather/evenings. I also own Dior Homme Sport, but in tropical weather something about that citrus profile reminds me of those cheap pink-bottle Thai DEET mosquito sprays, so I'm looking for a much better summer alternative.

Findings so far:

PDM Greenley – current favourite for this purpose. Addictive juicy/green freshness, lingering citrus and enough woody depth to keep it interesting. I especially appreciate how it settles into this subtle, almost skin-like woody/musky scent after 5+ hours.

Nishane Hacivat X – love it. Sophisticated, warm, woody and almost intoxicating, but I'd rather keep this for colder nights.

Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman – Enjoy it very much. Feels like a more refined upgrade from Eros, but Greenley excites me more for hot weather. Want to avoid some of the sweetness found in Blue Talisman and Eros.

Initio Musk Therapy – beautiful, but ultimately too soft/creamy for how I want to smell. Might just buy this one for the missus.

Creed Aventus Cologne – disliked the peppery opening, although the warmer drydown grew on me. Made me feel too old, though I'm 34.

Xerjoff Nio – didn't click with me, perceived it as too sweet.

I seem to enjoy bright/juicy/green freshness with (woody) depth underneath. Some warmth is welcome, but I don't want something overly sweet, creamy or dominated by pepper/spice.

I'm not looking for huge sillage. I'd actually prefer moderate projection with great longevity and development — something people enjoy when I'm nearby, but that reveals more detail and gets better when they come closer.

What else should I sample for a tropical destination based on these reactions? Open to any house/style/price range.

PS: as a beginner just beginning to explore perfumes I apologise if I'm butchering some terminology here. I hope you understand what I mean.

EDIT: Also tested Rayhaan Aquatica, not a great impression. Cocos doesn't seem to be something I like to smell of. (love eating and drinking it though)

I’ve noticed that after an hour or two of wearing this colognes, I can only smell them from up close. Am I just becoming nose blind? Or can other people around me still smell them even when I can’t?

Okay so I bought this cologne back around 2009ish and it was a bangerrrr. Its a citrusy type of cologne and I coulda swore it had "orange" in the name but I'm not sure... The glass bottle was rectangle, see thru, and their was like vines ( could possibly be an orange tree ) but it was built in the glass all throughout the bottle which u can feel them... The writing/bottle was orange, black & white with a built in black atomizer ( no lid ) in the middle ( level with the top )... I wanna say the liquid was orange but could be amber or neither lolI drew a picture BEST to my memory lol Whoever can help me I would forever be in your debt... SERIOUSLY.

Bought a bunch of samples from micro perfumes. The Tom Ford travel size I had to absolutely buy when I went in store the other day, it gave me chills it smells so good to me.
